Hi all.... as the 2ww buddies thread has got so long... thought we'd start a new one .. cd13 now... waiting for ovulation (next 2/3 days) and will then be back on the 2ww! How's everyone doing?

((Jords)) i'm sorry you're feeling this way. It sounds very confusing. Do you do your temps or OPKs? I think if you don't 'know' when you're ovulating then it's the only way to go. Doing both should hopefully give you more of an idea. Can't really answer your question about cycle length but from experience if I ovulate early in my cycle (say day 10 -12) I still have a 28/29 day cycle. Hope this helps in some way.

Speaking of ovulation, weird things have been happening here. After getting a positive opk on CD8 (i blimmin knew I hadn't ovulated) and DTD day 8 and day 10, yesterday (CD14) i started actually ovulating. Usual familiar pangs started in the afternoon, had EWCM when i went to the loo (could actually feel 'the wet' in fact before that) then had mysterious 'amorous feelings towards DH lol. Did another opk this morning and yes another smiley face. So DH went off to work a very happy man:) All day I've had full blown ov pains and loads of ewcm! So am feeling very pleased with my body today. After fretting i was going into menopause, i now feel like fertile Myrtle. Let's just hope we DTD enough...
Mamma, so i looked on youtube and the meditation i've been doing is called 'Fertility Meditation Through The Chakras', I chose it cos it's only 7 minutes long and that's about as long as i can stay awake at bedtime! There are loads though. Just search 'fertility meditation'. Its very american and a bit cheesy but if you've ever done yoga you'll see what it's on about.

Thanks mimosa no I don't do any which I should really but last time I found that letting it go with the flow worked better for me than actually using opks but I think I'll have to start next month! If I've still got loads of clear stretchy/thick discharge do you think I've still got a shot? Or do you think it's been and gone.. Don't you usually go dry after ovulation? Gonna dtd just in case

Hi, 2ww-ing here. 6 days until period due, and excessive POASing on internet cheapies. Urgh. Symptom spotting galore - odd cervix, smell increased, boobs achey. Hurrrryyy up

Urrrm, missed an important word there - Sense of smell increased. I don't smell more. Neither does my cervix afaik!!

It's really hard to know Jords... there is still a chance.. . could have happened early but if you get another chance to dtd... might have another shot! I think not stressing and going with the flow is probably the best way x

I seem to be having a weird cycle. I got ov pains and positive opks plus right sort of cm... I now have a tight and bruised feeling abdomen but no significant temp rise... so strange... so now I don't know if iv e ovulated.... what is going on this month!

welcome MrsBofDon... 6 days to go... are all the tests negative? How long have you been trying?

Jords, i usually do go dry the day after OV or at least it changes from ewcm to sticky and non-stretchy. I would say DTD again and then you've covered all bases. I know what you're saying about not temping/doing opks but if you're stressing anyway, it would at least give you a clearer picture of your cycles and what is going on then you'd feel a bit more in control perhaps?

All negatives. Its an accidental 2ww as we weren't really trying but I can pinpoint ov to half an hour due to ovulation pain. Sigh. Ovulated on cd 16, now on cd 27 of 32. I know it takes me 2-3 weeks to get a positive bit thats not stopping me testing. Trying not to until Friday now!

I'm on CD 16... 2dpo... I got positive opks on CD 13 and 14.

Hi! Can I join in? Currently on 5 dpo! Not sure on our timings during FW though as DH was away with work so trying not to get my hopes up...it's hard not to though! We DTD Mon night and Thurs night. Positive OPK Weds p.m and Thurs a.m. I'm worried that Mons DTD was too long before and Thurs was too late! Soon find out but this first week is dragging!

Welcome Happybus.... it always seems like a long wait. The timing could be ok... especially if you ovulate either Wednesday or late Thursday... stranger things have happened... those little sperm cells can hang around for a while if conditions are good so fingers crossed for you.

Hi everyone I'm hoping I've dtd just in time for those who have the ovia app it says my fertility score is 10 which is the highest so fingers crossed but I dunno deep down I feel like I've missed it this month. If not it would be cute if I conceived next month because we'd all have February babies! Mine and oh are a week apart and I will use opks and bbt just need to get this month out of the way now! How's everyone else? Anybody heard anything from stef x

Thanks mimosa sounds good I'll have a look tonight! jords I have the ovia app so know what you mean, best bet is just dtd as much as poss what more can you do! In constant disbelief of all these "accidental" pregnancies after one time - how can it be so easy?! MrsB you need to stop testing it's too early!!! With DD I didn't get a BFP until 4 days after AF was due!
Glad to see more crazy symptom spotters in the tww! I've got 9 days til AF due and 4dpo. Had some houmous today - which I love - and tasted so weird I couldn't eat it. Nobody else thought it tasted any different. Hopeful that's a sign as when I was early preggers with DD before getting my BFP I ate one of these buns at work that a colleague had made and could just taste stale smoke - nobody else could taste it - but the colleague in question was a heavy smoker, so def was my heightened smell/taste kicking in I think. Apart from that have definitely got sore boobs but nothing major! Hope everyone else is doing ok, anyone else thinking they've got any signs? Xx

I'm on cd15, so joining the rest of you who are on the 2ww. Trying to rest and not stress, although a medical I had at work recently seemed to suggest that I should run more and eat less... I'm working on it!

I have the worst cold at the moment 🤧but managed to DTD last night, planning to DTD tomorrow, Sat and Sun to cover all bases. Not feeling positive this month hoping it's just because I'm ill and I'll get my mojo back. Going to have a look at the Ovia app, just using Period Tracker at the minute.

Wow just downloaded Ovia and the FW and ovulation day are completely different to Period Tracker!

Rhi oh really!! How different?? Ovia is always a couple of days out for me with peak fertile day! It doesn't make too much of a difference as I use OPKs and it corrects itself.
Feeling really lethargic tonight and getting cramps in left side - surely not ov pains?! Definitely had a strong positive last Friday and am CD 15 out of only 24 according to my ovia app!

I just downloaded Ovia... i like it! predictions were off until I added the opk info and it corrected.... I really like the display on the fertility chart though... really cool... dies mean I'm now using 3 aps though! I'm also using fertility friend and my calendar (period tracker).... fertility friend seems to be good at predicting ovulation and iv e been using my calendar for years so it has a good amount of data for my cycles so want to keep using them for now... oh dear... more obsessions.

@mammabear4 3 days difference between the two apps! It's going to be a busy weekend for DH

lisara I really like how Ovia is set out too. The bar chart with the build up to the most fertile day is good. I used the ovia pregnancy app too last time and love the comparisons to the little fruit!
Rhi 3 days quite significant then! Dtd as much as poss I say!! Think DH and I would be doing the every other night method if we could - SO frustrating he's only around at weekends feel like it's really hindering our chances

mamabear... difficult with your DH set at at weekend but the right dates will marry up and it'll happen... Rhi.. maybe after a month or two of data it will start to be similar... let's hope that we all get to use the pregnancy so soon x

I'm getting so frustrated, I know you guys think it's more likely I ovulated not too long ago but I'm so convinced I ovulated on cd 9 because thinking back to it I did have alot of ewcm because I mentioned it to my partner as well as the pains.. Let's just say I did that would make me 10dpo would it still make sense to test at '13dpo' even if Af isn't due until the 3rd? Oh it's all so confusing!! I'm so emotional tonight I don't know what's wrong with me! I'm thinking maybe I do ovulate earlier instead of half way through hence the fact I always miss it... Who knows

Jords I'm an early ovulater too. Got my positives on CD 9/10! Confused as my Ovia app says I can test in 9 days but AF not due til 2nd May... maybe best to wait to see if the witch turns up or not before testing then at least no unnecessary stress!
Hope you're ok. I always get emotional on a night - DD asleep, all on my own! Been TTC for 6 months now, the MC obviously was a major bump in the road. Really feeling stressed out about the whole thing atm and def keeping me up - I'm usually asleep by 10 but recently been struggling to get off until gone midnight.
Anyway little self pitying rant over!
