So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Morning girls

I am still unwell 😭😭 driving me nuts. Not DTD since Monday but on CD11 so I better start this weekend 😂 I would defo not have been up for it. Not OPKs this month tbf I'm prob ruling the month out cause if this dreaded lurgy and the amount of pain killers iv had to take 😭

BellaMoon · 21/04/2017 13:41

remember @AmandaP86x i had the lurgy recently 😉 hope you're feeling on the mend #getjiggywithit

Hippychic79 · 21/04/2017 14:11

Hope you feel better soon amanda!

What utter rubbish that af got you flash, it did sound so hopeful with the bleeding that stopped. It's so hard when your body throw you all these symptoms and confuse you like that. Hope you have a nice weekend ahead. Re Sicily I have been there once before. It is heartbreakingly beautiful I find, nice little cities with narrow streets and amazing restaurants, plus a lot of nice local wine. Which of course I will not be enjoying as will be upduffed by then for sureGrin. We traveled from west to east by car, and stopped in various small towns along the coast. Syracuse was amazing, and I also loved Palermo (albeit much more noisy and city-like). I also think Taormina is very nice, my mum spent a couple of weeks there during early spring, but haven't been there myself. I think it is so important to have something to look forward to when ttc that is not ttc related!

Hippychic79 · 21/04/2017 14:52

Feeling like bella -
#ashamedfornothavingbeentoitaly

It sounds beautiful... I agree patience it's good to have things to look forward to that aren't ttc related ... it is very mind consuming this ttc lark ... I never envisaged getting so wrapped up in it when I started ... I just thought yeah ... have sex in fw ... hey presto ... but here I am 8 months later (missed two cycles) .., thinking hey ?!!!

We went on a weekend break to Palermo - it is lovely. It's hard to go wrong in Italy though - you girls need to get yourselves there. It is also very family friendly - they don't mind babies or children in bars and restaurants - so a place to go with our bambinos.

So sorry for AF arriving Flash - give yourself some tlc and have a good time doing something you love this weekend.

Itsjustaphase84 · 21/04/2017 16:45

Hippy, feeling OK. Slightly tired and mild nausea but main one is sore boobs. I don't think my symptoms have really geared up yet. Good luck for FW!!! Happy pumping. Fx for you.

Ooh I absolutely love Italy. The food and drink omg!!!

@Flashinthepan af will soon sod off!!

CakesALot · 21/04/2017 17:28

Another big fan of Italy here! The most at home I've ever felt on holiday! Just been
To Tuscany though. That's no bad thing I think! Echo the family friendly thing as well

Hippychic79 · 21/04/2017 18:17

Thanks phase just did another opk this evening and the line is getting darker ... so fully expecting static tomorrow and pumpage of course 😉
I will keep my fingers crossed for you and my legs will follow suit on Monday 😉

Have a great Friday night ladies

Were thinking of going back to Italy this year. Just been to Lake Garda so far, we were considering getting married there but we chose a place in Anglesey wales instead (sounds rubbish in comparison but we were very lucky with the weather and got married right on the Menai straights which are beautiful).
Fertility place rang today, thought maybe they were going to cancel the hycosy again but luckily they were just rearranging the time.
I'm CD 8 today so just twiddling my thumbs
I'm thankful today for

  1. making progress on house stuff
  2. my hycosy is still happening
  3. My DH booking in my MOT for me (I hate that kind of stuff).
sarahboro1 · 21/04/2017 20:02

Thanks for the advice re poas ladies, I might do one in the morning but that'll only be 9dpo so won't believe it anyway no doubt!! 😂 #lucky13🍀

Thank you hippy, don't be crossing those legs just yet you've got a big weekend coming up!!! 👍🏻 My stomach ache is ridiculous, I reckon I only have about 8 days each cycle where I'm not in pain #notfair!

Sorry af arrived flash, I even took her on holiday twice last year and she's still stalking me!! Take care Hun. Xx

Welcome back patient!! 🙌🏼

olicat · 22/04/2017 08:54

sarah, I'm totally the same, I swear I only feel vaguely normal just after af and during ovulation! Currently due af in 3 days and I'm bloated, constipated and spotty #lush

Roseandbee · 22/04/2017 10:23

lol Sarah, so bribing Aunt Flo totally doesn't work. I invited to her to my wedding and she didn't even get me a card!

I get bad pms through the whole two week wait now too, didn't used to. So today I'm thankful for

  1. No pms
  2. The sun is shining
  3. It's the weekend!
sarahboro1 · 22/04/2017 10:38

Oh Oli it's awful isn't it? As if she can't give us a break when she's not here??!! I get ovulation pain too so after af is my best time!! 🙈

What a rude wedding guest she was Rose!!! She's really the kind of girl none of us would choose to be friends with!! 😂 Mine has only started the last few cycles, can't wait til I can go back on the pill and she won't be calling anymore!!! Xx

ArchiesMamaBird · 22/04/2017 11:25

Morning lovely ladies Smile

Flash so sorry that AF arrived, she was quite kind to me this cycle by being quite light, and on a bonus she's letting me OV a week earlier than usual so I'm not too angry with her and hoping my niceness towards means she's kind to you Grin

I finally got my scan results and it indicates that I have polycystic ovaries (even though I have zero symptoms and regular periods Hmm). The doctor was quite negative about it saying that PCOS stops you OV so she's going to refer me to a gynaecologist who can prescribe clomid to help me OV, but I'm 99.9% sure I do OV each month, and my blood test back in Jan confirmed that I do so I'm not too worried. And I have 3 friends who have PCOS who all managed to conceive pretty quickly and easily so I'm not stressing about it at all.

Here's my positives:

  1. The sun is shining and DH is making a start on our jungle of a garden today
  2. My OPK this morning had a static smiley so I'm due to OV in the next few days #majorpumpageisontheagenda
  3. It's the motherfuckin weekend and DS slept in until 8:45 this morning so I am feeling SO awake (making the most of having a good sleeper before the sleepless nights start again with DC2) Grin
ArchiesMamaBird · 22/04/2017 11:52

Here's a photo of said 'jungle' complete with our little helper Spider Man Grin

FYI we started renovating our house last April and then moved in at end of Oct hence why the garden hasn't been touched yet. We're not just lazy feckers who have left our garden to get overgrown for years 🙈

Moo31 · 22/04/2017 17:01

@Archies great you got some answers. Same as you I know a few people with pcos who have conceived so hopefully it won't cause you any trouble. Worthwhile taking the clomid though to help things along maybe? Your garden will be amazing when it's done although I hate gardening so rather you than me! I'm sure your newly renovated house is amazing Grin

CakesALot · 22/04/2017 20:25

Yay for spiderman! I hear he's a keen gardener!! Great that you've got some answers @ArchiesMamaBird and you're still feeling chilled about it all. Love the positivity!

I've downed 3 cups of RLT today and quite enjoyed it! I made all 3 at the same time, had 1 hot then chilled the other 2 for later. Liked it either way. #igotthis

CakesALot · 22/04/2017 20:26

Also, we've got a friends little boy staying with us tonight whilst his parents are at a wedding. Just over a year younger than DD. Soooo lovely thinking there's two kiddies sleeping upstairs. Broodiness has reached a new high!

BellaMoon · 22/04/2017 21:24

hullo lovely ladies

@ArchiesMamaBird that's the cutest spider-man iv ever seen 😍 and excellent news on operation clear out of the garden. looks like a sun trap! #welljel and super fab that you're positive about that diagnosis today. PCOS is an absolute cunt to some people so i'm mega glad you don't appear to have any symptoms #throatpunchPCOS

@CakesALot aw what a lovely evening surrounded with babas #housefulloflove

sorry i haven't scrolled right back ladies as i'm sooo sleepy right now but had to get my MN fix #addicted

my three small things today are:-

  1. i went to a life coach today with a friend as moral support and ended up getting so much out of it. 1 wee thing the coach said resonated with me and i genuinely feel lighter and more positive because of it #winwin
  2. i have the most tender bazongas today but instead of being a moaning minnie i realise i'm so lucky to have boobies in the first place #melons #titties #jugs #funbags
  3. i have such a supportive and loving circle around me and i probably take it for granted a little too much just focussing on those that piss me off more so i'm going to change that. those that piss me off don't matter a jott compared to those i love dearly and that's my new focus

hope you're all having a nice relaxing weekend #sendingbighugsfromglasgow xx

Hippychic79 · 23/04/2017 12:48
