So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

Welcome new ladies ❤

pebble82 · 29/04/2017 17:52

Maybebaby2 I was cycle 7 but first with OPKs. Also this month I lay down for half an hour after dtd with pillow under bum. No idea if it helped or not.

WantToGoingTo · 29/04/2017 18:18

maybebaby I caught with DS on cycle 2! Now on cycle 3 ttc #2 but no luck yet... it really varies

MrsHandles · 29/04/2017 18:50

I've practically been doing shoulder stands after DTD pebble, so I've got my fingers crossed. I'm currently in FW and have DTD lots (think DH is becoming bored with the frequency of it!) if I don't get a PFB this time then there'll be lots of foot stamping and upset in this house.

Maybebaby2 · 29/04/2017 18:59

pebble that's fabulous it's great to hear of BFPs when it's taken a good few cycles, keeps me feeling positive that it'll happen for me! And I'm on cycle 7 so hopefully it'll be a lucky one for me too! wantto fx it's a lucky one for you too!

I think I've figured out how to do the tagged name thing 😂

BlueeSpottyTiger · 29/04/2017 20:15

pebble thats been me for 20mins after dtd
.... anyone watch emmerdale? Dp asked me why don't i put my legs up the wall like Victoria did 😂

Tiwa12 · 29/04/2017 20:53

I am joining the may ttc. Was told my progesterone is quite low. Bought milk thistle from Holland and barrats to help improve it. Has anyone had an experience of this? New to this forum

boatrace30 · 29/04/2017 21:12

pebble that's really encouraging! Cycle 7 here too so fingers all crossed! Just need to ovulate. CD20 and fed up of waiting!!

boatrace30 · 29/04/2017 21:14

tiwa - I suspect I have low progesterone. Not fully confirmed yet though I had low progesterone on dpo7 last cycle when I had a blood test. Not heard of milk thistle. I'm on a combination of vits including B50 complex, but C and Zinc.
Do you have a short luteal phase?

TriJo · 30/04/2017 00:02

CD24 here but only 8 dpo. Have been ill this week so difficult to do any symptom spotting because it's hard to know what's bug and what's hormonal - there is a definite bit of nursing aversion going on though, my patience with my 13 month old popping on and off the boob is wearing a little thin.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 30/04/2017 07:41

trijo i was in a breastfeeding group on here and someone mentioned when they got pg their baby didnt like the taste of their milk anymote so self weaned!
Im hoping 15m dd will do this im sure she is still having too much of my milk for how old she is lol.. she does eat a good amount of actual food aswell though. Im even starting to get judged off family members now for still bf'ing 😑
I'm only 3dpo so im not even starting to ss yet!

juneybean · 30/04/2017 08:06

2dpo today and temp has risen considerably so hoping I have indeed ovulated. Nothing I can do now, off on honeymoon tomorrow and I can't wait.

Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs from you lot whilst I'm away!

Ava1985 · 30/04/2017 08:22

Morning all

emz it really is rubbish having the early miscarriage, let's hope we are in for some sticky beans next time. Sure we will be 😄

Blue and teijo good on you for breastfeeding still and ignore the family members having an opinion on it. My dh family used to make comments all the time past about6- 9 months so I know how it feels 😫

I am saying I'm 2dpo today (yay!) BUT we only Dtd Ov day over fertile window! Was hoping to the following day but dh was ill (like nose streaming I'll, yuck!) so it literally is a one shot chance this month on day te egg popped! but I'm clinging onto that 😂

Hope all you ladies are well x

WantToGoingTo · 30/04/2017 08:39

blue and trijo also know how you feel re breastfeeding! My boy stopped by himself at 13 months but it was such a battle by then I tell you, all the grabbing and pinching! I was glad in a way he stopped by that point. Sounds like your LO may be gearing up to stop trijo if popping on and off. Also familiar with the funny looks from people when you feed a baby that no longer looks like a tiny newborn... F*!K-em!!

Aridia · 30/04/2017 09:24

@juneybean Hope you have a lovely honeymoon!

I'm now 8 dpo and had a bit of pinch-like-cramping on Friday. I'm ttc #1 so I don't know what implantation feels like but I was talking myself into believing that was it!
I'm so tempted to do a test and find out but I know it's too early, and I have fairly long cycles so af isn't due for another week! Argh!

boatrace30 · 30/04/2017 10:49

Yes, ignore all the breastfeeding criticism. My mum definitely didn't like that I did it till 14months! I would have carried out but had no chance of conceiving so felt awful at forcibly weaning her when neither of us really wanted to!
Feeling more positive today after an almost positive opk! Hoping it's even darker this afternoon.

lookatthemoon · 30/04/2017 11:06

I also stopped bf at 13 months because DS was soo distracted/disinterested! It is hard at that age ...

Waitingonasmile · 30/04/2017 11:12

roughly 9dpo and bfn today. I know it could just be too early but still feeling like this wasn't our month.

lookatthemoon · 30/04/2017 14:55

Waiting - 9dpo is very early! Remember most people would get a bfn then so stay positive!

sallywiththegoodhurr · 30/04/2017 17:12

Congratulations Pebble! Such a strong line!

I'm 7dpo today and have period type cramps. Not sure on CD as i've not checked my app but fingers crossed they are implantation cramps.

MrsHandles · 30/04/2017 20:33

Possible TMI alert. I've attached a pic of my current status on Ovia. I've also just done an OPK which came out as negative (two lines, but one a lot fainter) and when I wipe there's what looks like EWCM (it's clearly, stretchy and 'slippery')

Anyone think I've got ANY chance this time round or am I deluding myself?

All aboard the May Train!
MrsHandles · 30/04/2017 20:33

*clear, not clearly

boatrace30 · 30/04/2017 20:51

Hmm, I think opk is the least useful of all the signals. Have you had any positives in the last few days? Ewcm would suggest you are fertile, but a bit weird that your temp is rising already

MrsHandles · 30/04/2017 21:04

I had a stronger line on Friday so that must've been my positive

boatrace30 · 30/04/2017 21:26

That would make sense I think
