So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

I'm at cd19 and Ovia is saying it's the first day of my fw with a score of 5.0 ! Lol. I'm getting a definite build up in cm. Opks are pretty dark now but defo not positive yet (I know they don't mean squat unless positive lol)

Dh is home tomorrow night so I'm made up I haven't ov'd yet! Just 24 hours and my ovaries are free to have a party 😂

4 dpo today and my boobs are sore!
Not unusual for me and too early for symptoms.. will that stop me over analysing it??

I'm about 4 dpo today too and thought I felt a twinge in my left boob earlier! 😂 other than that nothing.. other than really vivid dreams the last two nights!

Dd had me up all night so no temp this morning but positive opk BUT dp is away tonight and I'm away tomorrow. Such bad timing. So fingers crossed for saturday. The opk indicates the surge right? So mught not release until tomorrow? Will saturday be too late?

Lady - the surge just means an egg will pop out in 12 - 36 hours and can survive for 12 hours (or more, some place say 24 hours) so you are still in with a chance for sat! Maybe just jump DH as soon as you see him on sat. Good luck!!

5 dpo - sore boobs but my son's lazy teething latch is the most likely cause. Feeling like total shit as well but most likely an (un)healthy dose of post marathon lurgy. I'd love to just crawl under my desk at work and sleep...

I'm about 6dpo today and feeling like I'm definitely out this month. Feel totally normal and no signs at all. I have a feeling af will show. It's so frustrating because my husband works away a month at a time and I have 40+ day cycles I don't know when we will next have a chance to catch the egg .

I'm not currently using OPKs, I know roughly when I ovulated as I get a slight (sometimes bad) pain (always in my right) and then changes to CM, but that sometimes goes on for 2-3 days. Am I right in thinking we should be dtd for the week or so before that?
Ovulation pains have now pretty much stopped for this month and dh is away at the moment anyway so we're definitely out for now. So hard to distract myself from thinking about pregnancy! I had a dream last night that I had a little baby boy and then I woke up and had that horrible sinking feeling when you realise it was just a dream!

How early do FRERs generally give a bfp? I'm 10/11dpo and getting impatient (but with DD never got a bfp until 13dpo). To test or not to test...

Pebble - I never got a bfp with DS until 13/14 Dpo but had one with mc and a chem at 10/11. While it does say 6 days before AF - if will depend on when you implant. With DS I was testing from like 10DPO and all bfns until the day before AF was due! Good luck!

I was the same. Tested from 9dpo. This time is less fun though as cycle 7. DD was conceived on cycle 1 of proper trying so I had none of this stress last time. It really sucks.

I bought FR tests at lunch but not used yet. Only realised after leaving the shop they are not Early Result ones though. Annoying.

Same here - first go with DS and sort of skipped into ttc #2 thinking it would be as easy. 🙄Fx for us!

Pebble I've never used a FRER but the Asda early response tests are good. I got a bfp at 9dpo with one for my last pregnancy

Any test with a 10 mIU/mL sensitivity is going to be as sensitive as a FRER. That includes a lot of internet cheapies - it's a sneaky con that digital tests are actually less sensitive!

Ahh what does a smiley face mean on the clear blue normal ovulation sticks?!?

juneybean LH surge detected. Two most fertile days are day of smiley and day after. Ovulation will usually happen within 48hours

Ahh thank you. Been two years since I used the digital ones. We've got the donor coming tonight I wasn't expecting to ovulate til Monday haha

I cannot believe it but I've just done an opk and its positive and dh called the same time to say he's delayed home and not back till tomorrow now 😰 Are my chances gone? I have a feeling they are 😰
