So yet again, af has got me. Brown spotting this morning after a cycle where I was actually genuinely convinced I'd done it this time. Oh well.

Only on month 5 of actively trying. I'm ttc no2. I'm awaiting a referral for a hospital appointment to investigate scarring in my uterus so every month that goes by without a pregnancy, the more I can't deny that there's obviously something wrong (I've conceived twice, both just after a missed pill so 5 months is long in comparison!)

Just thought I'd say hi and hope THIS might be our month and we have a chance at a baby in 2018 instead :)

Justwaitingforaline - i'm also 7/8 dpo and had a big cry last night. Hopefully it's a good sign for us. Although I am symptom spotting too much - i also have sore boobs and slight cramping but i've also had that during other months when i wasn't ttc so ...

boatrace30 · 24/04/2017 07:22

I'm cd15. So probably 10 days till I'm in with a chance. Time conversely goes slowly when TTC but also quite fast when you look back on all the failed months!!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 24/04/2017 07:41

maybe it amazes me too! Crazy isn't it.

TMI i have just had then most EWCM come out when wiping that i have ever seen! So updated Ovia and it now predicts today is my most fertile day? Cd10... surely that can't be right can it? Its showing my fw started 2 days after af. Need to do a opk in an hour or so

CD19 here, positive OPKs and did the business Friday and Saturday. Marathon yesterday, lower back too chafed to get into most of our favourite positions!

EWCM gone this morning, the waiting game begins...

Joeybee · 24/04/2017 08:44

@BlueeSpottyTiger You can ovulate between 10-16 days into the cycle, so you could well be ovulating now. I have figured out I ovulate at cd 12.

WantToGoingTo · 24/04/2017 08:54

Morning all, just catching up! Sounds like a lot of you are ahead and approaching tww. Fingers crossed lots of bfps on this bus!

CD3 over here... af tailing off thank god. Worst af I ever remember having! Hoping that's a good sign body is back to normal and rid of hormones from the pill in any case. My fertile week starts on 2 May so bit of waiting for me yet. Think dh is getting impatient as we haven't dtd since the last fertile week 😂 But I was worn out after dtd 6 days in a row! Weirdly my temps have stayed up above last months cover line despite af. No drop yet and they are about 0.4 higher than last months af temps. Weird. Maybe I am just hotter?!

WantToGoingTo · 24/04/2017 08:55

Ps wow trijo did you do the London one? Seriously impressed!!

boatrace30 · 24/04/2017 09:19

Wow trijo! Don't you have a dc? I did a marathon five years ago. Can't imagine doing it now with toddler DD!!

juneybean · 24/04/2017 09:32

CD8 here today. Convinced it's a write off before I've started as have had to book a dental appointment for Friday and I get a bit stressed about dentists!

TriJo · 24/04/2017 09:53

boatrace30 I have a 13 month old DS. Hubby takes him on Sunday mornings so I can do my long runs, I do 3 run commutes to work during the week (this is the real key, I live 6.5km from work so it's a nice run in) and I do Parkrun every Saturday with him in the running buggy. I run a 28 minute 5k pushing a buggy.

TriJo · 24/04/2017 09:54

And yes, it was London. I got in through the ballot when I was pregnant after 6 years of applying so deferred for a year.

lookatthemoon · 24/04/2017 10:22

Oh well done Trijo! Massive achievement! How are the legs feeling?

And there I was thinking I was a superstar for doing a Parkrun at the weekend 😜

Waitingonasmile · 24/04/2017 10:26

That makes me feel more positive joeybee. Sorry about your mc.

Wow trijo completing a marathon is amazing especially with young dc.

Roughly 3dpo today and "symptom" spotting Blush. I know it's far far too early lol. Definitely have increased cm.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 24/04/2017 11:30

trijo oh wow. That's amazing. Welldone 👏

lookatthemoon · 24/04/2017 11:55

8dpo and itching to test. This tww thing is so painful.

sallywiththegoodhurr · 24/04/2017 12:15

Wow Trijo that's amazing!

Lookatthemoon not too long to go, when is your test day?

Maybebaby2 · 24/04/2017 12:35

Tmi here but Im really confused!
I've been checking cm for last couple of cycles and I have never seen any ewcm it was always white. It differed in consistency but always white so I didn't think body was giving me any clues.
Then today I have just had a lot of ewcm, completely clear and stringy. So I'm now confused about the positive opk I got on fri/sat because I thought ewcm came a few days before you ov??

juneybean · 24/04/2017 12:57

What day are you maybe?

Cookie1831 · 24/04/2017 13:23

Well done trijo
boat we could be long cycle buddies I am currently cd19 and neg opk on CB x

Maybebaby2 · 24/04/2017 13:24

I'm on cd 16 usually only have cycle of 26/27 days and always start spotting a couple days before, so if I ov any later than this it'll mean I have a really short lp which won't help things. Sad

Maybebaby2 · 24/04/2017 13:25

That was in reply to Juney Smile

juneybean · 24/04/2017 14:23

LP could still be lengthened if you did ovulate cd 16 this month though. clear and stringy is good EWCM, could be your body was gearing up to ovulate but was delayed, did you OPK yesterday/today?

peanutbutteroreo · 24/04/2017 14:56

Hi all. This morning I got a flashing smiley on my CB ovulation test, am on CD12. So firstly thank you june and justwaiting for recommending I start testing early! I was planning on waiting til CD15! Secondly, anyone know how many days of flashing smileys I can expect before peak fertility? I assume it's one of those things that can really differ between women. And what's the general concensus on how often to DTD? Every other day until l get a peak fertility reading?

boatrace30 · 24/04/2017 15:36

Trijo - Well done! Amazing achievement with a 13 month old. Running to work sounds ideal though - wish I could do that!! (I think?!)

Cookie Sorry to hear you are with me on the long cycle. It really brings it home when you are on these threads and you see people getting positive opks so soon!

sallywiththegoodhurr · 24/04/2017 15:40

Cookie I got my positive OPK late evening on CD19, long cycles suck. I hope you get yours soon!
