You could always try again and see if they would do provera? CLomid is the harder one to get it seems weird they would give you that and not the provera to get you going.
Erm, I'll be honest, I'm not following a strict ttc diet. I started doing so, but then I got so that I was worrying about ttc with every waking thought and so I made a vow to stop OPKing and stop being so strict on that. I asked at one of my appointments about diet and supps and the nurse said that as long as you have a balanced diet and some folic then thats really all you need. She said there's no harm in a multi-vit, but everything else is just based on different peoples opinions - a bit like acupuncture etc.
Dont get me wrong, as the weeks and months go on I may well start doing all these things to help me along if nothing happens, but so far the metformin has help me lose weight and its staying off just with a normal diet. I'm not drinking but I'd be lying if I didnt have treats (mainly comfort food when I get low). The clomid has made me ovulate so its dependant on how the next few days go - and then maybe the next cycle or two. If things dont happen I might throw more things at it, but I worry that it can get far too detailed and I am a real worrier so think it would cause me to be too stressed. OPKing and temping seems daunting enough!
Ooh, just thought of something though. I did use pomegranate juice to try to thicken my lining at the start of my cycle because my AFs are really light. Not sure if it had an effect but my lining at my second scan was perfect thickness. So thats one thing i do do.
