Summer I am sure we have all been there. It's a completely normal reaction over something you so badly want. In last couple of weeks have had two and struggled with both. The first made us the last couple in DHs group of friends to get pregnant and the second was an unplanned 4th baby. You are right it is all completely shit and hopefully it will work for us in the end!!

Thanks guys. Thanks for just being there. No wine, but sofa and chocolate night. DH is out tonight and I just need some time to sit here and feel it. Maybe have a bit of a cry, so that I can draw a line (hopefully) and start a new day in the morning.
I can't believe how much this can hurt sometimes.

I'm out btw girls. Started to get cramping a few hours ago. Soaked through a tampon in 3 hours. It's not bright red fresh blood, more on the darkerside. I'll see how it goes & probably test if it doesn't get any heavier. But onwards and upwards to the last and final round of clomid, cycle 6.

Sorry Amy. I do still think you should test just in case. Hugs

I'll see how the flow goes boggle if the flood gates open then I know not to bother. Its so fucking shit. Got a gyne appointment on the 8th May. Not sure what the next steps will be tbh xx
Clomid is working at 150mg. Not sure if they'll give me any more though xx might be time to consider private...... I know that I won't get IVF on the NHS because I'm so overweight.

I'd try and get more clomid Amy, if you know it's working then it's worth continuing. Took me 10 cycles remember. Massive hugs xxx

But my boobs feel heavy so not sure

Amy Im sorry mate, thats crap. At least you have some more clomid all ready to go. A good nights sleep can be a godsend too.

I had a bit of a wallow-y evening - chocolate / duvet / crap telly etc. Felt better for it. Had to be up early this morning to have my progesterone test done so nice that thats now out of the way. Results back end of next week.

How is everyone else?

Joining you guys in the wallowing. Am sat in the doctor's reception as I type hoping to get some blood tests to figure out what's going on.

At the moment I have my polycystic ovaries, and I'm not even getting an LH surge, so feeling like pregnancy is a long journey away for me. DH doesn't seem to have the same sense of urgency that I do (we are 32 and 31) and is more chilled out about it than I would like.

Feeling the wallowing over here too (although I've only posted on this thread once before so feel like I'm imposing a little). Feeling very crampy today and 13dpo soooo i'm guessing I'm out this month. This is our 9th month TTC with PCOS and endo (which I'm sure to some seems like no time at all) but I feel so deflated and a little more broken as the months go on. My dr has told me for our area we have to have been actively TTC for 2 years before any intervention (incl. clomid etc) and I just can't see how I will get through that many more months of disappointment (which I know is a very negative point of view but it's how I'm feeling atm). Huge congrats to those getting their BFP's this month though!! xxx

As much as I wish we werent in this position, it's nice to know it isn't just me going crazy about this. Could you afford to get just a few tests done privately to start the process?

I agree, it's crappy that we're all in this boat but nice to have people to relate to and empathise with! Did you manage to get some blood tests done? How long have you been TTC?

I don't really know how that works with having private bloods etc.. Could that prevent us from NHS fertility treatments in the future?

I think I'm going to wallow tonight, feel crampy had a couple of really sharp waves of pain earlier
But still just the random brown spot every now and then xx

Let's all wallow in our sadness together cheese holly & tricky* I can't acctually believe that I'm now the threads most long stay member 😭 I know that some have de-lurked over the past few days but everyone who's gone have either had their BFP or moved on to try other things such as IVF.

My doctor today told me that a patient yesterday was a 49 year old woman expecting (naturally conceived) twins. That made me (feeling on the old side at 32) feel better (apologies if anyone is over 49 and TTC, you aren't old!).

Tricky I had a private ultrasound, which confirmed PCO (not the 'S' yet, but as I have v irregular periods I think it will be PCOS), and I feel like that meant at my NHS appt today there was a bit more to spur something more on (not sure that makes any sense at all!)
