Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Same here penguin I don't feel pregnant at all and just about to kick off a very boozy Mother's Day lunch 🥂 I will be good now and try to not test till Friday I think! Otherwise I'll go mad squinting!

Mummy congrats on the new car it looks great! I still haven't decided what to get. Welcome back Flowers

Hb you are keeping us all in suspense!

Tigger83 · 26/03/2017 13:38

I got my first Mother's Day card (well mummy to be card) my oh is so cute. I'm really lucky. My bloating is still there however just looked in the mirror and for the first time in my life I have a truly amazing rack lol!! So you win some you loose some! Happy Mother's Day to you lovely ladies xxx

HeyJupiter · 26/03/2017 14:41

Hb Hope the lunch is going well! :) Those superdrug tests look shocking, googled them and they have loads of bad reviews. FRER is the way forward.

Dancing so glad the midwife appointment went well. It’s really nice that you’ll get to meet the team beforehand too. Got to love the NHS.

Wilde yay it must all be starting to feel more real.

Hi mummy, lovely to hear from you. Love the car!! And the flowers in your garden :)

Penguin you never know lovely, roll on the next few days..

How are you feeling MrsC is the nausea getting any better?

Tigger that is so sweet of your DH. Happy Mother’s Day to you too.

All fine here, feeling exhausted (although probably more to do with my cold than pregnancy) so knitting booties for my now-overdue niece/nephew and watching trashy TV. Going to sit in the sunshine in a bit and read my book. Still lots of cramping and bloating but am getting used to that now.

I’m tempted to do a CB digital this week with the ‘weeks indicator’ thing as should be at 3+ now (am 5+1 today) but don’t want to freak myself out if comes back with lower weeks. What do you all think?

Seven0fNine · 26/03/2017 16:26

Jupiter if you already have one in then go for it. If not then I would use the money and buy yourself something nice instead. You are preggers and taking a digital may just cause unnecessary worry and stress. says the one most likely to poas every 2 secs once she gets a bfp

HeyJupiter · 26/03/2017 16:28

I know you're right seven, it's for reassurance but actually may cause unnecessary stress... will think on it :) thank you x

Seven0fNine · 26/03/2017 16:31

mummy I love the car and that you keep popping in.

Tigger that's so cute!

No ttc gossip here cd25 but no idea of I ovulated or not so no idea where I am up to really.
Finally got dh insured on his dad's car so he's gonna be commuting this week which will be exhausting but less stressful than staying away for him (and me!)

Back onto my diet starting with tonight's meal. Planned my weeks dinners and done shopping so hopefully will loose a few more pounds this week.

Off to mow the grass now! 😁

DancingUnicorn · 26/03/2017 16:37

Jupiter I've heard the weeks indicator can be really hit and miss. Don't want you to be worrying!! Glad it sounds like you're chilling out, definitely important!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 26/03/2017 16:43

Jupiter it's only on mumsnet that I've ever heard of people continuing to POAS after getting a BFP.. I guess with the early testing and risk of chemical it's understandable but I think you'll just drive yourself crazy - after missed AF you are pregnant pregnant!! Relax and enjoy it xx

Tigger yay for boobs!

Am feeling very sleepy after a lot of wine at lunch so gonna have a nap now! Perfect indulgent Mother's Day Sunday. Hopefully DH and DD will be home with treats for me later too!

Seven good luck with the diet.. I need to get back on the wagon!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 26/03/2017 16:44

Seven if you are CD25.. does that mean you'll be testing with me and penguin next week??

Seven0fNine · 26/03/2017 16:53

Hehe I'm not sure what to do Grumpy I have no idea where I'm up to.
So far cycles since I came off the pill in July have been 94 days, 41, 38, 36, 21 and now on 25 so far. When I do ovulate I am normally 12 days until AF but haven't used opks this month. Had some pain a few days ago so if that was when I ovulated AF should be due around the 5th which goes with what Ovia has predicted. I guess I'll test then if AF not here but haven't really been trying this month. We've only dtd about twice a week on average. What day are you and Penguin testing?

Penguin27 · 26/03/2017 17:18

Tigger your oh sounds lovely & yay for bigger boobs!! Grin

Glad you enjoyed your lunch grumpy... I'm also going to have a nap - something about big roast dinners makes me sleepy!!

I think I'm going to test on Friday... seven if you are expecting AF on 5th then a FRER might show something on Friday?? POAS with us!

dinosaursandtea · 26/03/2017 17:23

First post on this thread, but I've been lurking for a while! We're going to ttc in May, so right now I'm taking Pregnacare's pre-conception vits, eating a tonne of kale (vom) and exercising. I'll definitely be trying the baby aspirin/quarter of regular aspirin daily, though.

I'm CD37 of a normally 35 day cycle - no chance I'm already preggers because I'm married to another woman! Bloated and spotty though, so period had better happen soon.

Had a GP appt and get blood test results tomorrow, then referred to fertility clinic. We're going for IUI but will do home insemination with some stuff from a Danish sperm bank while we're on the NHS waiting list.

So getting my body ready for pregnancy and crossing my fingers....

Wiggleyfingers · 26/03/2017 17:50

Hey dinosaur, such an exciting time for you! We're ttc from May/June too. I've heard a few of you talk about baby aspirin now...what's the deal? Is this something I've missed and should be doing?

NaturWilde · 26/03/2017 18:07

Welcome dinosaursandtea! And good luck.

Liver...you need this eat liver. Heard too much anecdotal evidence that it helps with fertility. And baby aspirin from ovulation to 12 weeks...

buzzmoon · 26/03/2017 18:11

Happy mummies day everyone! Welcome dinosaur! Nice to have you here! Is it your first? :)

HeyJupiter · 26/03/2017 18:33

Thanks all, I think I’ll give the CB a miss as I’ve read loads of stuff saying how inaccurate they are anyway! Just need to relax and enjoy this (so difficult!)

Hello and welcome dinosaur - wow what an exciting time. Really looking forward to hearing about your journey. Hope AF shows up soon! Good luck for the blood test results tomorrow, keep us posted.

seven can’t wait for your test day - hope the 5th comes quickly.

HbH · 26/03/2017 18:50

🙋🏻 hola!

Sorry for keeping you guys in suspense!! We're still in suspense unfortunately... my fam didn't leave til after 5, so proper shops were all shut! We popped into Sainsburys local but only had own brand tests (which i obvs bought) but not sure whether to test later or wait til the morning!! Nausea/back ache/hot womb on the symptom list still & no AB so am very cautiously optimistic!

jupiter very cute advice from seven, defo buy something nice with your digital clear blue money!! Some more wool??

Lush car mummy , lovely to hear from you!!

Glad your appointment went well dancing

Well done Mr Tigger, what a lovely touch!

grumpy sounds like you've had a fab day, just what you need to take the attention away from POAS! Hope you get spoilt later!

Welcome dinosaur ! Do you get IUIs on the NHS?

HbH · 26/03/2017 19:06

........ think i might be humped!
