Another month, another period. I was due af yesterday but had no sign but today I've had brown tinged cm so she'll be here tomorrow.

Anyone else out for March already? Feel free to join in my misery lol

So, I actually dreamt about ewcm last night... how sad/wrong is that!!?

Also had an argument with DH about acupuncture as he thinks it's a massive waste of money and that basically desperate women are conned. So we ended up not dtd which stressed me even more!

Firsttimeandclueless · 25/03/2017 11:11

Hello my lovelies.

I've just finished my 48hour peak. DTD on both days (trying new strategy where we only DTD on peak days so plenty of sperm there when the egg is released..no clue if it will work but DTD for every high and peak day last month left us exhausted 😂😂). Will DTD again today for good measure. I'm fairly sure I ovulated yesterday afternoon, small pinching ovulation pains on left side, so it is all down to luck now.

Day 1 of the TWW. I'm trying to be so good. I have no PT and will try my hardest not to buy any.🙈

If this month doesn't work, I'll give temping a Rey. Thanks so much for the temping advice boat.

So sorry to hear that your DH is against acupuncture. I'd definitely be up for trying it but can imagine my DH being the exact same...💐 Sometimes they are just too sceptical. Maybe have some make-up DTD later to get ye back on track.

Fingers crossed for you Oyster. You're so great to be doing this as it a 15mth old too. I have no other kids and find it stressful! Don't how I would juggle a toddler too. Xx

Justwaitingforaline · 25/03/2017 17:00

Hello all! Think I got my positive OPK this morning so we BD as soon as I saw it. Also BD x 2 yesterday, the day before and the day before... Blush it's funny; it's my first month tracking and I'm so surprised - Ovia puts my fertile window waaaaay out!

Justwaitingforaline · 25/03/2017 17:01

I also started tracking on CD9, thank goodness I did given my peak is today at CD11

April Bus: All aboard!
MotherofUnicorns · 25/03/2017 17:33

And I'm back in the game!! Cd21 and finally a peak on the monitor and a bucket load of ewcm. Nice. Now to dtd.......

Firsttimeandclueless · 25/03/2017 18:17

Oooh looks positive Just
I've never used Ovia but have heard some ladies say it is not always accurate.

Welcome back Unicorns
Congrats on getting your peak!

BlueSpottyTiger · 25/03/2017 20:47

Looking good just i ovulated early with DD alot earlier than apps were saying... opks are so handy! Im on cd 6 here... so will start tracking in a few days. My last cycle out of date opks (from ttc dd) said i ovulated on like cd 15 but i doubt thats right my cycles are only 26days.. I've bought some new ones for this cycle.. Goodluck!!!!! X

WantToGoingTo · 25/03/2017 21:19

just I use ovia but it is only as accurate as the info you put in! I use opks too and together it's a good match. Been bang on so far.

CD2 over here so officially on the April bus. Hurrying af along so can start the next fertile window! Raring to go, cycle 2, first non-pill ad nearly over bring it on!

Should be testing in the week after waster as af is due 21 April...

WantToGoingTo · 25/03/2017 21:22

oyster feel you on the toddler front and mine (20m) sleeps well! Doesn't mean I'm not knackered tho we do have to muster up the effort to dtd. Do want it more now we are trying tho, combination of being off the pill plus doing it more I think!

minime2017 · 26/03/2017 02:03

Hi all. I'm jumping aboard the bus as af made a late appearance today. Giving up counting cycles but trying for #1 and have reached 40. A chemical at the turn of the year is the closest we've got to a bfp. Hoping April brings us some happier news Smile

BlueSpottyTiger · 26/03/2017 09:09

Wantto & oyster my dd is 13months and does not sleep very well. Sometimes can be up bf'ing every 1.5hours 😣 but she does nap well in the day so we have usually have to dtd in the afternoon.

BlueSpottyTiger · 26/03/2017 09:11

minime sorry to hear that Flowers
Goodluck! Xx

Justwaitingforaline · 26/03/2017 09:46

minime I had a chemical just before Christmas, it sucks Flowers we held off TTC for a few months, I wasn't emotionally ready to deal with it but now I'm back with a vengeance!

This was my OPK this morning, I think yesterday was definitely my day! Made DH BD we've though he had to be up at 3.30 for work...

Bubblegum89 · 26/03/2017 11:08

I need some help pretty please! So, I'm 27 and been on and off birth control for ten years (mainly the pill) I've never experienced any pms symptoms ever other than mood swings but nothing physical. Had the implant put in a couple of years ago and had it taken out in December last year. For the first three cycles after removal, I was having really sore, tender boobs that grew about 4 sizes from the day after ovulation until the day before af came. I just figured it was my new normal as i got them every time without fail. I'm now on my 4th cycle off the implant and I'm 5dpo (got my peak OPK on Monday) and my boobs are absolutely normal. Not even a bit sore. Now I'm worrying that this is a bad thing. Does it mean I didn't ovulate? I did get a positive OPK (I don't temp as my sleeping pattern is all over the place) I first thought it could be that the artificial hormones from the implant are finally out of my system (although I don't know if same rule applies as it does with the pill where it can take time for your body to get back to normal) but I googled it and it said that it's because I didn't ovulate but I could only find an answer for those who always have pms symptoms and then one month they don't. I'm so confused lol can anyone help or has anyone had similar happen when they came off birth control?

Hi!

28 (29 this month)
Ttc #1
Cycle 1 (or will be once AF arrives, due today)

Excited to get going...

user1471496670 · 26/03/2017 15:39

Hi everyone...
Cycle no.6 (longest 6mths of my life!)
CD12
TTC #1
Age...38 nearly 39 and DP is 40 so time is not on our side at all.

Will be going to GP this month if we're unsuccessful again and feeling so anxious about it.

So far everything seems to be 'positive' Very regular 26 day cycle, nice and strong positive OPKs with EWCM and matching temperatures.

Due to test 9th April...I'd absolutely love a Christmas baby! Xx

WantToGoingTo · 26/03/2017 16:13

Welcome olicat!

Ah I would love Christmas baby too user! My birthday is early Jan and I always liked having it to look forward to after Christmas when everyone else was down in the dumps. If I get pregnant this month EDD will be 28 December eek! Crossing all my fingers and toes, first proper cycle off the pill as my first natural period arrived on Friday.... 9 days to fertile window woopdewoop

WantToGoingTo · 26/03/2017 16:16

bubblegum I think symptoms from coming off of any hormal birth control are the same as it is still hormone-based. That's my understanding anyway as they all work in similar ways. When I came off pill to conceive DS I had really sore boobs around ovulation, which I had never had before being on the pill or on the pill. But coming off of the minipill this time (was on combined before DS), and have no boob symptoms at all! In fact if I hadn't been tracking cervical position, doing opks and temping I wouldn't have even thought I was ovulating! But bang on 28 day cycle and my first natural period has arrived so it must be... It might be like you say your body adjusting to the hormones. I think pill exits body quicker possibly? (Though I could just be making that up!)

Carlotta82248 · 26/03/2017 16:23

Girls, months in and I'm confused, pretty convincing positive opk today although I've had better, on CD13, which is about right for me.....when do I ovulate? Do I count today? I'm not convinced I have as I usually feel it, have had EWCM for a few days now, started DTD day 9 this month x

Bubblegum89 · 26/03/2017 17:15

Thanks wanttogoingto :) i have regular cycles and I got a positive OPK so there's nothing to say I didn't ovulate but I'm just paranoid as I'd kind of got used to sore boobs being a major sign that I've ovulated and so not having them I was thinking oh great, all that effort for nothing haha the first few cycles (when I had the sore boobs) I also had ovary twinges on the day I ovulated, which again I've never had before until coming off the implant. Maybe my ovaries were just waking up again? lol it's annoying that I can't temp as I know that's the only way to tell for sure. I've got the Ovia app but it's been wrong for me the last couple of cycles so pretty much replying on OPK's now!

I think it's 24 - 36 hours from the surge. I'd DTD for the next 3 days to make sure you're covered.

minime2017 · 26/03/2017 18:51

Thanks girls-Hopefully we'll have better fortune this month as I'll be stress free and have a holiday to look forward to-relaxing is the way forward (I hope!)

Carlotta82248 · 26/03/2017 19:07
