That's good Grumpy (my last post was meant to say you could easily have a BFP on Sunday - not a BFN - but you know what I mean!) but will still cross fingers for you at the weekend :)

Mummyme87 · 24/02/2017 08:15

I'm going to start vit c and zinc this month on top of folic acid, vit d and b complex.

Wiggleyfingers · 24/02/2017 09:13

Sorry about the BFN's Penguin and Grumpy as others have said, you're not out until AF shows.

Buzz I have bloated up for AF 😫 I'm predicting I've put on a bit of water weight. Hoping it's only temporary!

buzzmoon · 24/02/2017 09:13

Sorry penguin but it's not all over yet! And yes to humping if af appears.

glitter how you getting on?

grumpy I'm so worried about having to cover up drinking! Don't know what my excuses will be!

Redpony1 · 24/02/2017 09:49

Sorry about BFN's, you've both tested early though haven't you?

An ex-friend announced an unplanned pregnancy this morning, she was on the pill. I only know because i didn't realise i am still following her on Instagram. I fell out with her a couple of years ago because we lived together and she was the most lazy entitled mummy's girl you could ever meet. Never mind!!

Seven0fNine · 24/02/2017 09:49

Haha buzz my concern is not actually drinking...for 9 months!!! Shock or even longer if breast feeding....

Just sorting out my drawers and I've built up such a little stash Haha 5 one step hpts, 1 clear blue, 2 frer and 14 one step opks...I could go into business!!

Penguin27 · 24/02/2017 10:32

Red, yeah I think it's probably a bit early but I haven't decided whether to test again in a few days or just wait and see. Sorry to hear that you're lazy ex-friend has baby bombed you!! Definitely unfollow her insta, you don't need that in your face every day!

Haha seven, I totally feel your pain. Not drinking for 9+ months is definitely not something I'm looking forward to. Buzz and grumpy, we'll have to think up some reliable excuses (everyone knows that 'antibiotics' means pg!!)

MrsC2017 · 24/02/2017 10:32

Morning girls, penguin and grumpy I'm sorry about BFN, it's disappointing and I know the feeling grumpy and mummy, accidentally pregnant at 19 and now doing it all right nd nothing yet but we will all get there and the trying will be a distant memory soon, keep positive girls Flowers.
Thanks jupiter holiday was fab, I want to book another already.... Must resist!
seven I'm the same bags of sticks hidden in drawers, DH would kill me if he saw!
I don't drink very often so it wouldnt be unusual for me not to be drinking but a good excuse is to say you are finishing a course of a certain antibiotic which makes you unwell if you take it with alcohol, although you can't repeatedly use the excuse it might help you out once or twice!
I have lots of pelvic pain again this morning but only 5dpo so I know I'm just making things up in my head!

Mummyme87 · 24/02/2017 10:33

seven you can drink when breastfeeding don't fret! It's a myth that you can't, no credible evidence for it. I craved beer when I was pregnant 😂

MrsC2017 · 24/02/2017 10:33

Haha penguin we cross posted, I guess the antibiotics excuse isn't so reliable I'm going to keep a close eye on anyone who uses it from now on! 😂 😂 😂

TheGrumpySquirrel · 24/02/2017 11:00

10dpo but that's going by back pain on CD15 as I never got a real positive OPK. I'm trying not to symptom spot but I still feel sick! Backache is quite bad too. Left boob is lumpy (anyone know what I mean if I say milk disc?) and had a drop of liquid this morning, vvvv weird

MrsC2017 · 24/02/2017 11:04

grumpy def don't rule yourself out with them symptoms, give yourself a day or two to see and test again x

Redpony1 · 24/02/2017 11:31

Fingers crossed for Penguin and Grumpy when they next test!!

I'm glad i don't drink - noone expects me to when we go out so no need to make excuses Grin

Penguin Ex-friend also owes me at least £300!!

Welcome back MrsC Grin

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 24/02/2017 12:17

Sorry about BFNs ladies but it is early days yet. Bloody tests cost a fortune. I bought five today! They don't have first response here so choice was either clear blue or some random local one I'd never heard of! POAS is a very expensive hobby i see!

OP posts:
Wiggleyfingers · 24/02/2017 14:02

I agree it's going to be hard to make excuses! I'm hoping I can be "designated driver" then maybe get an awful ear infection?! I can imagine it's so hard for early pregnant ladies over Christmas and New Year! Although there always seem to be some reason for alcohol with my friends Smile

I've been mulling over scans and whatnot, and was wondering if it might be nice to have DH find out the sex and then 'reveal' it to me in a special way? Hope that doesn't make me sound too high maintenance, I'm really not, just looking for ways to make sure he feels included too. Getting ahead of myself.

AF has come early Angry 26 day cycle this month, random from my regularly 29/30. Although I did ovulate earlier this month so was kind of expecting it. No cramps at all this time which is odd!

Grumpy so strange about your boobs! Do you know anyone breast feeding?! Maybe it's sympathy milk! 😂

Seven0fNine · 24/02/2017 14:59

thank goodness mummy!!

red Deffo had a few of those friends... DH and I have had many house mates over the years before we got married and are mates with very few now. Funnily enough we were always the ones out of pocket too!
I'd unfollow and put her out your mind! X

Had a busy morning...had my sewing machine out getting loads of little jobs done I've been meaning to do for ages. Wish I could stay at home crafting for a living!

Grumpy your tww has felt like forever it must be awful for you. These symptoms still all sound good tho and you are still mega early! X

Sounds lovely wiggley I'm always getting ahead of myself. I'm obsessed with prams at the moment! DH told me off before for staring at someone at the lights...Didn't have the guts to tell him I was tryna work out which pram she had so I could Google it when I got home!

Seven0fNine · 24/02/2017 15:01

parsnips those cheap ones off amazon are the way to do it X

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 24/02/2017 15:22

Yeah not all the sellers deliver to the UAE and the ones that do charge a massive delivery fee. Just one of the quirks of being out here i guess. I've got a stack of clear blues. I'm going to test on 6 March. AF is due on 10 March.

My parents are coming here to visit at end of March so would just work out too well for it to happen this month. Back in the U.K. In May too so could tell rest of family in person. Need to put this out of my head now.

[i know we said we would wait but once I saw that positive OPK I just couldn't think of anything else - crazy I know but there's no reason for us to wait except the safari]

OP posts:
MrsC2017 · 24/02/2017 15:36

parsnips alot of Amazon sellers won't send to here either and I use a service called parcel motel that basically gives me a UK address and then couriers the product to me for €4, I had a quick Google and there is a similar idea in the uae called amarex ship and save, might be an idea, not sure what the costs are though but could be similar!
seven literally been googling prams the last half hour, currently looking at the Jane trider!
wiggly that sounds like a really cute idea, I'm not finding out the sex but if I did I would love doing that with my DH!
I'm def getting ahead of myself this cycle, although I'm sure in a week I'll be ok if it's BFN, it comes in waves, I'm desperate to be pregnant one second and ok with it taking a while the next!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 24/02/2017 16:34

Seven yes and if I'm not pregnant this cycle it'll have been the massivest placebo effect ever! Today: tingly boobs, dizzy, sick, exhausted, headache, pelvic twinges

Sorry to bore you all with my obsessive symptom spotting! It's all consuming right now. I thought the BFN might have convinced me I'm out but nope!

Parsnips that basically happened to me.. we were intending to wait till may.. now actively trying!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 24/02/2017 16:35

I'll be ok if it's BFN, it comes in waves, I'm desperate to be pregnant one second and ok with it taking a while the next!

MrsC* I feel the same.. it's really destabilising!! Just want to get on with life!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 24/02/2017 16:47

God parsnips you must be going mad! All be worth it once the baby is here.

OP posts:
buzzmoon · 24/02/2017 16:49

I'm obsessed with the bugaboo donkey!!

grumpy I will be so surprised if you're not upduffed, you have ALL the symptoms!!

buzzmoon · 24/02/2017 16:51

wiggly that is a lovely idea for you DH! Mine would be rubbish at coming up with an idea though!

Seven0fNine · 24/02/2017 16:53

You are Deffo not boring us Grumpy sorry if my last post made you think that. It's what we live for on this thread!

MrsC just Googled that, it's lovely. I like 3 wheeled prams, they look so cool! And the car seat that goes with that one looks ace too. I change my mind every day! Not that I look everyday
