The men thing btw is completely different- it has a direct effect on sperm creation / development. Although it is sometimes suggested if youre after a girl- as is wearing synthetic nylon undies (nice!), or even a jockstrap. But thats because a low sperm count = theoretically higher chance of a girl.

Lorry drivers supposedly have lower sperm counts because they spend all day with hot crotches (yeesh).

Hello can I join you? cd31 today of my first cycle after a MC. Normal cycle 28 days, OV aroyund cd16-18 and LP 10-12 days. If I have OVd this cycle it was cd28 so I'm in for a wait yet. Think it might be an anovulatory cycle though.

Hello MrsMc! I'm staying put in April as since my mc my cycle seems to be 28 days so shorter than it used to be.
Glad I'm not the only one mning on a saturday night as well...!

I'm not counting CD1 until proper flow, and last month I had three days of spotting first.
Could we just have roll calls perhaps every two or three days? I suppose I don't have to add myself on!

goingfor3 - hi, my thoughts earlier in the week were very positive, but as the days progress, I am feeling more moody and pre-menstral and trying to keep a level head about all the 'symptoms' that are going on. It is all too easy to convince myself that I am pg each month, and I have too try to be a bit more rational. But there is always a chance that we could be preg buds by the end of the week!

mum03 - we really are long lost twins. I was convinced I was pregnant until yesterday and then I strted to feel really negative. I bought myself a bottle of wine for tonight as I really don't think it will happen.

I may test tomorrow...

Had 2 BFN's so far with cheapies. Had convinced myself last week that I was pg and had loads of symptoms! Tested and got a -. Went later to ensure no faint line and there was one! Could've been evap. Tested 2 days later and again -. 20 mins later (not sure how soon it appeared as I dozed off) a second very faint line there. Could've been evap as instructions say discard after 20 mins. But someone said evap lines are grey. This was very faint pink.
Anyway, convinced myself that I'm not pregnant and now af unusually late. Have had af type cramps on and off for 5 days and keep thinking its started but just cm. Bbs sore but they always are until day before af.
Just been to store for a first response or clear blue and they were all sold out so if I do test will have to use cheapie again.

I had very feint lines last month and they were the same colour. That was on internet cheapies. The month before I had a really thin line on a boots test. I have now decided that unless the line is shouting 'look at me' I will ignore it!

How early will i be able to test if my af is due around the 10th??
Is it best to wait until im late??
Just im at a wedding on saturday and dont want to drink loads if im pg

You might not get a positive but perhaps you could do one on Saturday morning Fifi? See how you feel as to how much you drink.
I always find alcohol makes me feel sick when pg, how ever early it is.

No crampy sings of AF yet. Still achy left nork tho. Slight nausea (might be tiredness) and over emotional (again tiredness). Holding off testing as think i might have ov'd late in cycle. Still BDing (well it burns them calories )

When is your next appt with docs Awen? Did you say they were going to induce AF if she didn't turn up soon?

You are so good not to test again yet - so much more willpower than me! The signs are quite good though for you, how long has left nork been achy for?
