2 week wait - again!

It's that time of the month again. The dreaded two week wait. 3rd month of trying and 1st month using ovulation kits.

Last month I convinced myself I was pregnant and obviously wasn't so trying not to do that this month.

Finding the whole process very draining to be honest. DH and I don't have very high sex drives. We're normally once a week people and are both fine with that. So having to do the deed when neither of us really want to is not as fun as I'd hoped! But we managed 3 times in ovulation week this month so fingers crossed.

Anyone else want a 2ww buddy? Smile

Reluctant, how frustrating. I hope you can get some answers soon.
Thanks. Running in the morning means I can show up late-ish and I'm planning on leaving early as I have to work on Friday (first time since moving out here). Was really hoping DC was coming with me as he'd be perfect reason to leave but he's spending the day with his dad instead.

Still hanging in here cd26!! Still got stomach ache on and off today, mainly a stitch / stretch type feeling to the sides over my ovaries. No idea either way but just want to know!!! Xx

reluctantlondoner · 23/11/2016 19:50

Thanks so much ladies, I am so grateful for the support. I came off BC last Xmas and my cycles have been pretty regular 28/29 max 30 since then, so this is unusually late. Finally cracked and confessed to hubby that I am late (was hoping to just be able to tell him I am pregnant!)... will hang in there and cross fingers AF doesn't appear! I am on a girls weekend away this weekend so will be no opportunity to obsess or test anyway... will have to try to keep drinking to a minimum just in case. Fingers crossed for you all xx

reluctantlondoner · 23/11/2016 20:04

P.s. There's definitely something going on with my boobs... they don't seem any bigger it they are definitely weirdly twingey and I have some tummy cramps too. Also very windy (sorry, tmi!)... soooo trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard when your body is sending confusing signals!!

user1471496670 · 23/11/2016 20:23

CD 24 for me! All my (imaginary) symptoms seem to have disappeared and I'm starting to feel pre menstrual - woke up to 2 spots!! Can't believe it's only month one but I feel a teeny tiny but disappointed already, which I know is silly!
On a side note DP's friend confided in him today that him and his DGF are TTC so he told him we have started trying too...it was very cute to see him excited about it!

reluctantlondoner · 23/11/2016 20:39

User1471 that is super cute!! I think it takes the men a while to get into it! Got my fingers crossed for you xx

blackcherries · 23/11/2016 22:47

Looks like I'm twotting now. I'm only CD17 but think we're done for the month as had my scan several days ago and was apparently just about to ovulate then. Managed 6x dtd, not too bad considering we've both been ill but I'm not optimistic. Due on 3rd!

catlover1987 · 24/11/2016 09:46

Feeling a strange mix of sick and crampy today. AF is due on sat but my cycle is a little irregular so could be on the way. I just want to know. Confused

Cd 20, should start feeling some symptoms soon.. If there's any to feel! I'm always exhausted so that's no indicator for me! GL everyone x

bassetmum · 24/11/2016 10:40

Well I think I am out. Just gone to the loo and got red blood on wiping. Oh well. Onto next month.

MouseLove · 24/11/2016 11:23

Sorry for AF basset. SadFlowers

Dr AF symptoms maybe but not preggo, apparently anything before 5-6 weeks is all in our heads.... talking of which, in my head right now, I have belly twinges. Halo

MissMagpie · 24/11/2016 11:50

reluctant I am going through the exact same thing as you. CD37 today. Had awful cramps the other day, but AF still hasn't showed up.
Woke up to heavy feeling boobs that sporadically tingle and then feel very warm and full - which is totally weird.

I got a BFN with a Clear Blue digital on Tuesday. If AF doesn't arrive, will test at the weekend. Keep thinking I have started but then it's just creamy CM!

Sorry about your AF basset. Onwards and upwards.
Fx catlover for your BFP very soon!

reluctantlondoner · 24/11/2016 13:22

MissMagPie I have got my fingers crossed for you! I am only CD34 today and so hopeful... not feeling so many symptoms today but busy so less time to think about it. I think I will crack and test tomorrow morning again but worried about it being another BFN! Let's hope we've got shy beans in there and not just AF playing tricks on us xx

reluctantlondoner · 24/11/2016 13:28

Sorry rushing so didn't look at earlier posts, really sorry basset about AF. Better luck next month. Fingers crossed for others xx

DrRBannerx · 24/11/2016 14:30

I'm sorry basset
mouse I'm trying my hardest not to symptom spot! Doing pretty well so far, I think!

reluctantlondoner · 24/11/2016 15:44

Dr it's so hard not to symptom spot!!

Sooz78 · 24/11/2016 17:23

Gave in today and got a BFN, mad at myself for testing when my AF not due until Sunday, been constantly symptom spotting and was convinced it would be a positive. Now torn between was it too early to test or is it definitely a negative!! This whole process is driving me mad!! Sorry, rant over 😂.

reluctantlondoner · 24/11/2016 17:28

Sooz let's hope it's just too early to test... I was reading the back of the test pack last time I tested and it's only something like 60% accurate before AF is due xx

Sooz78 · 24/11/2016 17:58

Thanks reluctantlondoner, so difficult not to obsess over it. Fingers crossed xx

HellsBellsK · 24/11/2016 18:07

I can test on Sunday also Sooz finding it so hard not to. I say you are just to early.

Also so hard not to symptom spot. I am feeling so so tired today, also had a small bit of brown spotting last night and again this morning so I have a feel AF is on its way early!

reluctantlondoner · 24/11/2016 18:20

Aw hopefully not HellsBells! It could be implantation! It is so hard not to obsess. CD34 today and still no sign of AF... going to re-test again tomorrow but I am going to be so upset and confused if it's another BFN xx

WantingBaby1 · 24/11/2016 20:58

sooz & hells I'll be testing on Sunday too. Got a frer all ready :) af not due until Sunday / Monday but have been having weird cramps so would like to test ASAP so that I can have some painkillers if it's a bfn!

Tinkerbell2319 · 24/11/2016 21:53

Hi all

Think I'm in the 2WW although never had a clear +ive OPK, sorry to those AF has arrived for :(

TTC#1
Cycle 5
CD19
Test date 5/12

Always start off with the best intentions not to symptom spot but have ended up convinced of symptoms every month so far and turned out to be wrong Confused so we'll see!

sarahboro1 · 24/11/2016 23:02

Welcome tinkerbell!!

Catlover you're back in time for the home run!! I'm still here, cd27, still got my intermittent cramps for the 4th day running argh!!! The female body can be so cruel sometimes!! 😏 Xx

stuckinny · 25/11/2016 03:58

Welcome tinkerbell

Sounds like Sunday is a big day for a few of us.

Today wasn't half as bad as I thought it might be. I will admit that a few bottles of cider probably helped take the edge off.
