rahrah - for you a new thread!

OP posts:
Ready · 17/02/2007 13:34

crossed posts with you there seaside... I wondered why you hadn't told me off for teasing you

seaside72 · 17/02/2007 13:38

Dont worry Ready - I a sure FF got it wrong anyway!! - I think I ovd CD13, but hey ho!
I have always been annoyingly textbook - in all my 11 TTC cycle ( yes count them 11 !!! ) apart from the fact that my cycle length seems to fluctuate a bit (shortest 24 days - longest 31 days).

rahrah1 · 17/02/2007 13:39

I am getting cramping and sore boobs... Therefore think period is due in next couple of days which does co inside with FF chart now.
I feel really emotional too... also another strong indication... I am pissed off already and its not even here!

rahrah1 · 17/02/2007 13:41

But if I did ovulate on the CD16.. means my body is going back nearer normal cycles for me... Just concerned with lack of CM.. so will buy up the grapefruit juice at my local supermarket!

seaside72 · 17/02/2007 13:42

Why oh why are PMS/AF symptoms so similar to poss BFP symptoms? - why couldn't it be that if you were BFP you would be insanely happy, pain free bouncing boobs, full of energy etc Its God playing another cruel trick on us!

rahrah1 · 17/02/2007 13:44

I agree with that!

rahrah1 · 17/02/2007 13:47

If any one sees MrsMcJnr...MrsMcJnr....MrsMcJnr...MrsMcJnr

Can you send her my email address, as per below... Or tell her I was trying to contact her but have not signed up to CAT.. will sign up if she insists, but won't use it really.

Thanks All

Hello everyone!!!!

Didnt have a good morn with temps. My usual temp time is 8am but woke up at 5am and because of the 3hrs needed to take basal temp decided to take it.
It was 36.44 (after adjustmentfor the 3 hrs). Then I thought I would have a lie in and didnt set the clock and woke at 9am and took it and then did the adjustment and it was 36.16. I have done all the correct adjustments that they say but the temps are vastly different!!!!!!!!! Very confused. How can I be sure I am getting the correct temp?????? Any ideas as to which one to use?

seaside72 · 17/02/2007 15:53

Hi angel - I would prob go with the first temp (5am) but then 2nd temp looks more in line with yesterdays temp I defer to the more experienced - lottie, ready etc!

Ready · 17/02/2007 17:18

The adjustment guide is just that really, a guide. Some people find that their temperatures do not change much, or some more so, and so can't rely on adjustment. What was your temp at 5am pre adjusment??

Try not to worry

Ready · 17/02/2007 17:24

Oh, and no line at all on the OPK just now. A little confusing since I have had 3 days of faint lines. We'll see what the temps bring over the next few days... could this be annovulation?? Bad timing if it is

I am going to get all spruced up for my meal out now, hope everyone is having a great saturday??

angelfire777 · 17/02/2007 18:47

Seaside thanks for your reply, I am glad its just not me that would find this confusing!

Ready. I hope you get a line again tomorrow. I have no idea what could be going on as I havent used opk's before but keeping my fingers crossed for you to ovulate. At 5am my temp was 36.16 pre adjustment. And at 9am preadjustment was 36.27.

fettle · 17/02/2007 19:17

Mum03 - sounds hopeful, but don't be too overly positive, until you've done a test. As people have said it is possible to have high temps during AF and to have odd AF's, but I do so hope you are right!! I really felt hopeful for you, so maybe it is not all over!!

Glad everyone on here seems to be being quite positive at the moment - I do like this thread, and we do seem to be having quite a high success rate at the moment - keep it up!!

Greedy, been thinking about you a lot - I hope you are ok? Monday is not long now.

Thanks for worrying about me everyone, I seriously am fine, just not very full of beans - probably did feel like this when pg with DD, but didn't have DD to deal with then! and DH was living in Northern Ireland, so I was alone in the evenings and able to just go to bed, so I don't suppose I notice the first few weeks go by!!

Ready, you are definitely not cold-hearted bitch - almost the complete opposite - also don't focus too hard on OPK's - I've not yet heard someone say they are reliable - all I've heard is waste of money in relation to them. the salivoscope thingy is supposed to be better, but you've managed to get MrsMc to sell hers to Rah!!!

Ammy, I have heard other people say that OPK and temp charting can delay ov, but as ready said, I'd say it is over-stressing about TTC that could have an effect on ov, rather than actually taking your temp. If you find yourself stressing about it, then it is probably not for you, but I think once you're in the habit of it, it will become second nature and you won't think about it. as I'm not allowed to the pill, have a phobia about IUDs, I'm thinking of using temping/charting as a form of contraception, once I finally manage to have my babies!!

take care all
xx

Any one seen MrsMcJnr....MrsMcJnr...MrsMcJnr??

ammylovesolivia · 17/02/2007 19:38

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm not ttc at the mo- just learning!!

I'm not stressing but I am excited!! I suppose because I'm not ttc at the mo I just want to learn about my cycle a bit more for when the time is right (summer). I just cannot wait to see the hike- wish it would come!!

Thanks again guys, I'm sure I'll pop in reguarly with odd questions

mum03 i have logged on especially to check up on you and youre not here yet!!!
dont tell me you are being a good mother and putting your family before your temp buddies!!! it will never do!!!

honeyapple · 18/02/2007 09:43

Morning!
Yes where is Mum03???
Pootle- i didnt take my temp today as alarm clock buggered up... so woke up 2 hours after normal time (which was nice!) but decided not to bother with doing the temp. It's nice to still see my name in the roll call, but not sure if i'm going to temp anymore... ohhhh bit scary saying that...

Minxi- BD timing sounds very good. I hope it works for you this month.

Seaside- Your temps look good, hope it's your month too. I didnt appreciate you'd been TTC for 11 months- it MUST happen soon.

Rahrah- I had cramps and sore boobs 2 days b4 AF was due which i put down to period arriving... it's true that PG can feel the same as AF. I didnt have any feeling that I was PG at all. (still don't really)

Angelfire- dont worry too much about the temp problem this morning. It doesnt seem much of a fluctuation to me. Maybe you could temp earlier next month (if you need to) to avoid that problem of waking up early.

Lots of love as always
xx

Lottie - at least you can lie in, I think my ds1 came in just before 6 to get a drink!!
I was trying not to talk or jump around as I was waiting until 7 to take temps

mum03 · 18/02/2007 10:27

Sorry folks to keep you waiting, I was indeed being a good mother as greedy suggested, and unfortunately putting them before you all, will you ever forgive me?????

Well the news is that I still do not have a definite answer for you?. Yes you can kick me if you like. I was woken an hour early because I could not breathe through my blocked nose, therefore my temp was totally unreliable, as I could not close my mouth to take the temperature. But the 4th reading was 36.6, after the thermometer had finally warmed up. So take that as my coverline was 36.66 and my thermometer is only a normal one so don?t have the extra digit, it may be above or below my coverline, and may or may not be considered as a high temperature according to TCOYF, so hey-ho, let us all still assume that I am on cd4 and wait to see if my temp goes down again tomorrow. Sorry to disappoint everyone!

Wottle ? goodie a cycle bud! Hope you are conserving energy to go procreating soon.

Minxi ? great that you got good timing hope that the 2ww is easy for you.

Seaside ? halfway throught the 2ww great.

Greedy ? sorry to keep you in suspence, incase I do not get back here later (due to being great mummy of course!) I hope you enjoy seeing a lovely little flicker going on tomorrow during your scan.

Honey ? good for you getting some extra sleep, make the most of it, remember you are sleeping for two now!!!

Rah ? I am getting excited for you now?.. hope those temps are still up.

Hi guys

seems like the game is up for me this month, which is strange as only DPO 10...Temp drop to 36.3, watery loss which indicates pre-menstrual as its the first bit to go on the lining prior to blood(Looked it up in my book), loads of period pain and sore boobs. I am so pissed off with my body...it seems to be all over the place. Phase seems to be very short this month, no CM and did not pick up a clear +OPK and then erratic temps, but still nothing back from the clinic. Why can't I just get bloody pregnant!

I have already had it for a Sunday morning and said to DH to be honest can't be bothered getting out of bed much more...how many times can I keep picking myself back up...
