Urgh, side topic but really pee'd off, went out for coffee with the ladies this morning, not had a catch up for ages and obviously had to bring DS with me, and there was this really miserable woman there tutting and pulling faces about my son. He wasn't doing anything naughty and we were all keeping an eye on him but she made me so uncomfortable and stressed I ended up leaving early So I popped into Boots and they were doing 3 for 2 on Clear blue so I bought them, just did one and it's got an ink dye run all across where the line would be. Double grrr!!

Can I join too, please? Im in my v late 30s and trying for dc #1. This will be our 3rd cycle. Just waiting for AF to leave the building to start again. This month the plan is to use opks but dtd every other day (poor/lucky dh ) until the end of my FW, see if that makes any difference. Any advice, hints, tips, suggestions to improve chances of a BFP will be gratefully received.

Pebbles and lh1981 were you on the Oct 14 antenatal bus? As if so, I was on it too! Although I should have been on the November one as my etd was the 27 oct and should have known my ds would be late! I remember a poster called yellowwellies and there was another called lily who had hers at the same time as me.

This is going to be the longest cycle ever! I'm still bleeding nearly 2 weeks after my chemical pregnancy 😞.

Welcome mrsmck! I've tried loads of tips, nothing's worked yet! I always take vitamins just in case. I tried opks this month and with other mumsnetters knowledge on them I am a bit more aware of when I actually ovulate. I said I was gonna relax next month but I think I'm gonna keep with the opks!

Hi purplebella! If only it was as easy as relaxing and letting it happen-dh thinks that's how we'll get our bub. Quickly becoming a tad obsessive bout it all. I've been on folic acid since last year to prepare for the ttc process. Taking Vit c- had been taking a multi Vit but found it left me feeling rubbish. Must get back onto it. So aware of time running out for us and want to try all I can before seeking medical help have a phobia of all things medical so don't know what will happen if I do ever get pregnant!

You'll soon get over that fear mrsmck! Lots of scans and "feeling about" from docs and nurses lol. Especially if baby's late!!
Try a different brand of vits, I take the Superdrug ones

I had a mega positive thus eve so no excuses for dh tonight - might get dtd after kids in bed before dinner!
dani I have actually today noticed more ewcm so that tallies nicely with opk positive.
mrsmck I found the cheap opks from amazon the best way of tracking what's going on and V easy to use.......

I have given my DH my Clear Blue tests to hide until Monday because I am insane and have no willpower. Did another this afternoon, I think I may be imagining things. There's def something but it might just be the indentation line. Roll on Monday!

I'm expecting my period tomorrow or Sunday and I'm 100% sure it's going to arrive as I have no pregnancy symptoms whatsoever.

Today would be the EDD of the miscarriage I had in March so I'm feeling pretty crappy anyway so my period arriving will be the icing on the cake.

Two weeks ago I decided to put an end to BF'ing DS1 to see if that makes any difference because after 6 or 7 cycles of a miscarriage and BFN's I'm willing to try anything!

I am so confused! I always have a reqular cycle of 28 days. I am now on CD 16 and have been getting flashing smiles on CB all week!( since Monday) I should of ovulated by now for sure. So could the test of missed my LH surge?!

I feel like I'm out this month before it even started! Please somebody shed some light!!!!

Hopeful with DD1 I never got any positive OPKs yet had ewcm and definitely ovulated when I thought I would despite no indication on the tests. Have you managed to DTD anyway in the last few days?

I stupidly poas this morning (old cheapie) and BFN. I don't know why I got my hopes up, still no AF post pill so no idea if I'm even ovulating. The ewcm two weeks ago tricked me. Grr. At least I can have a big guilt free coffee this morning.
