Hopeful it's my first cycle with clear blue opks - I thought the first morning urine thing was quite odd but follwed it anyway! Got 13 days of flashing before finally getting a static on CD19. Got suspicious of them so was also doing cheapies in the evening and was wondering why they were even flashing as cheapies were clearly negative (I've since learned it's something to do with CB testing for estrogen as well as LH whereas only LH with cheapies). Got my positive cheapie the evening of CD18 and sure enough the static smiley followed the next morning

Aww purple.. was really hoping for a BFP for you this morning, when is your AF due? Got everything crossed for you that AF doesn't arrive!
I told DH the good news & he was thrilled. I'm really nervous still & we aren't going to tell the kids until Christmas. Really hope everyone gets the BFP's they want! And if anyone's buying tests the clear blue are 2 for £4.99 in home bargains - bargain! Xx

I'm expecting to get my period on Tuesday and even though I'm almost 100% sure I'm not pregnant (no symptoms whatsoever) I'm still thinking about going out and buying some pregnancy tests....

Aw thanks babybees! AF is due anywhere from today-tues. I'll bet it'll be here on tues just to get my hopes up for a few days!!

Same boat here, expecting AF any time between now and Tuesday. Not sure if I want a BFP or not after DHs reaction, my head is all over the place...and I keep wanting to cry, at nothing! At first I thought it must be a symptom, now I think I'm just over emotional about the whole thing.

So wishing AF stays away for you purple and writer, you never know! Lots of women say they had no symptoms at all and didn't get BFPs before they were due so you're not out yet! X

I'm sat here absolutely balling my eyes out. I meant serious body chugging balling my eyes out. I'm so happy. I think AF finally arrived.

I have a little belly ache and a little red on wiping. DH has gone out for his hair cut so I'm home alone grinning like a Cheshire Cat. I really hope it comes in full effect, I don't care, I need it. CD51 might just have turned into CD1. Please keep your FX for me. X

Good news for you Mouse sometimes it's just nice to get that reminder that everything is working normally even if it's not a bfp! X

They normally come round to the idea LH, they seem to panic at things like that then realise they'll be fine!

Purple I've not had a proper real period in 12 years. This was the relief I needed. I'm never ever going on contraceptive pills ever again.

Hi ladies, joining with great trepidation. I had a mmc at 12 weeks in August. Started trying again this cycle. First day of lmp was Oct 13th. I normally get my period on the same date each month give or take one day. I seemed to have cm for quite a few days so found it hard to tell when I ovulated? Is anyone good at working out the days, in terms of when I could test? I'm not great with the terminology! Thanks

Hi sureitsgrand welcome, how long are your cycles usually? I would test when AF is due rather than from when you might have ovulated. X

Thanks for reply, from counting it seems to be a 31 day cycle? I'm dying to know but I know it won't show up on a test yet. Just wondering what the earliest I can test is!

Finally in the tww after an odd cycle!! Managed to dtd both days with positive OPK, then missed a day abd dtd again last night. Have a feeling it's a lost cause this cycle but if Af doesn't appear will test around 15th/16th. Husband works away so this will be last chance to try until January .

Sureitsgrand please don't test until AF is due. A FRER can pick up before but it's really not worth it for the extra few days. Since you haven't tracked ovulation it's not worth testing early as you could have ovulated late or not at all with a 31 day cycle. Save you a little heartache. When you miss AF, test then. X

I'm out. AF showed up on Thursday. Felt gutted and like I just want to give up now. I can't cope with the stress.

Vox ttc has got to be one of the most stressful things we do in our lives and the uncertainty of it all makes it so much harder. Big hugs and don't give up, we all here for you and understand what you are going through. I am also jumping of the November bus as AF arrived this morning (it was a short ride for me!). A new month, maybe a new beginning, keeping my fx for you all! X

Sorry to hear that, vox. We know how you feel. Give yourself a couple of days and then look to the next cycle. It's all we can do, really, month after month. Fx for you for the next cycle.

Well, a BFN for me this morning, wasn't going to test until tomorrow as I'm not really sure when I'm due as cycles a bit irregular. But I think it's around now and so I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant.

I'm actually really relieved. It's taken this to really make me think and I know now that I'm happy with my 3. We also have an amazing trip to New York next year for our 15 year anniversary which we would have had to cancel.

I'm going to hang about just in case and do I can see what happens with you ladies! Wishing you lots of baby dust! Xx

AF finally showed up on cd67.
