lh that's really sad but he'll come round. My dad had 4 kids and I'm fairly confident he didnt want any of us at first but once we arrived he loved us dearly and was a brilliant father (he passed away 2 years ago ) he may not be enamoured with the idea now but he will when he has a newborn in his arms. And again when he's old and wrinkley and has an army of kids to take good care of him! xx

Got a half decent line on an opk last night. CD15 now and hoping for a stronger one this evening. annoyingly i am working late tonight but i might have to muster up the energy to DTD when i get in! DH has finally got into the 'swing of things' and keeps asking when the right day is with a hopeful look in his eye!!

Dani, I think both hubs and I agree that during fertile week it's more of a job than lovemaking haha. But yeah, gonna have to muster up lots of energy!

Hi everyone. I think I am just about to enter my fertile week. Still resisting the OPKs, just using good old CM as an indicator.
I read somewhere this week that how important it is to DTD in the run up to ovulation so there are some swimmers already there and waiting, so that's what I am trying this month.
Romance in ttc is almost dead though, I agree!

Congrats on the BFPs to those that have them. Nice to see some baby dust has been sprinkled over this bus.

My cycles are usually 23 days so from what I've heard doing it early on shorter cycles is advised!

We hadn't been considering another for a while but my period was 10 days late last month and we were both disappointed when I wasn't preggo in the end so thought we would try this month and see what happens.

*mimilicious". Negative HPT and almost positive OPK so looks like it's a weird cycle and I'm only ovulating now-ish!!

I'm 9 days post my positive OPK and have had my usual gentle cramping/orange spotting start today so I'm pretty confident I'm not pregnant. The knew the chance of being pregnant was absolutely minimal this cycle but it's still a bit disappointing.

Are all you ladies using opk/temping? I'm on cycle 2 and used opk ok cycle 1 but I'm not using it during this or future cycles. I used it during the first cycle just to get a general idea of when I ov and to see if any of my bodily signs/symptoms tie in with the opk. And of course it offered reassurance to see that smiley face!

Interestingly my cycles have gone shorter since ds1 but my lp has remained the same.

Hi jani, I did the same as you. I dont use them anymore, just wanted to get an idea. I deleted my Ovia app cos it kept shifting my fertile week! I'm just gonna go by cm and ovulation pains next time (said i was gonna be more relaxed!!)

writer I work in retail so I'm used to seeing everything coming instore september time so I get excited lol. I would also be doing that if I had to revise- yuk!!

Wtf don't know what's going on with my body I've just had a 5 hour period. Yes you have read this correctly. Had pink tinge when wiping on Tues and Weds and woke up in full flow this morning. Took my tampon out at 12 and have had nothing since not even a dribble???? What's going on????

Just got home to a big positive opk and an asleep on the sofa dh!!
I am going to have to hold out for tomorrow night i think and hope that i catch it....
I wish i could stop using opks but i don't really get any noticeably reliable ovulation pains. I had sore boobs at work today so maybe that is my sign....
