Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Thanks pug. Still time for you to be bfp - fx for you love.

Wow stark that pic is so clear! Amazing. It must feel wonderful.

Hello skylucy glad to hear all is well. I'm kind of enjoying the odd wine but to be honest been trying to stay off it in case it's preventing me falling! Can't win Hmm

LovelyFishy · 08/07/2016 21:17

Lovely picture Starky!

Skylucy good to see you again! How's it all going?

HepKestrel · 08/07/2016 21:25

ok, please slap some sense into me.

I should just make a gp appointment shouldn't I. I wouldn't be wasting their time?

There is an appointment next thursday .... or should I wait till I miss the second period? (I.e. wait to cd63)

I HATE making gp appointments........ HATE....... HATE....

They at least have an online booking form so it is less panic inducing....

Sorry, I keep fluctuating from pregnant .... to not pregnant ....to googling cryptic pregnancy, to googling phantom pregnancy, to googling menopause symptoms.......... to its just late because of stress you stoopid women get a grip! to what if i get a new job, what if i don't get a new job ....

disclaimer: I am probably emotional as I am completely sleep deprived as I failed to get much sleep on the long haul flight home last night .....

ok. i'm sitting comfortably.... slap away.

Freckles1607 · 08/07/2016 21:36

Hi all - I'm new here..
Age: 30 (31 next wknd)
Cycles - this is the first
Currently on CD 28 of average 29 day cycle. Waiting till AF is a few days late until I'd test.

HepKestrel · 08/07/2016 21:37

Hi Freckles !

AudreyBradshaw · 08/07/2016 21:38

hep tell me all your symptoms. I'd go to he doctors and say that you've been ttc, you've missed a period, bfn and you're interested in exploring your fertility options. If nothing else they'll probably schedule you for a blood test and then you're in the system for maybe starting the ball rolling. Win-win. If it's a secret blood bfp or it is a bfn but you get your doctor to start some investigation etc.

SuchaJem · 08/07/2016 21:44

Hep just wanted to send a hug and say I know how you feel, it's okay to feel like this, it's incredibly frustrating and emotionally draining. Get some sleep, see how you feel tomorrow about it xx

kwick · 08/07/2016 22:00

nicky congrats on completion!

pug nice to have you back :)

snowdog fx for you 2ww. I had no symptoms either. Also it is about quality not quantity! Have yoi thought about ivf?

fxskip you were not insensitive at all! I was just empathising with you. I think it is hard to know when to move threads and we love you and do nit want you to go! So there!

I have never been to Fiji but worth a try! I just had dinner in the City of London... My friend and I have decided to explore more in August before all the money is sucked out.

starky/audrey what a lovely cub you have Smile
Hmmm are you actually called audrey? I think starky suits you much better! Grin

WingingIt83 · 08/07/2016 22:13

Awesome pic starky!

AudreyBradshaw · 08/07/2016 22:18

I'm not called audrey kwick I was just listening to the bradshaws on the radio when I completely tanked my computer network. Audrey would be a cool name though. Grin

Snowdog37 · 09/07/2016 03:16

kwick I'm seriously thinking about Ivf, but our health insurance requires 3-6 IUI cycles first. I recently found out it's only 3 if there's male factor involved and although dh has an awesome count, his morphology is only 1-2% which would qualify us after 3 cycles. So if this one doesn't work, I'll ask for injectables for the third IUI cycle and then move on to Ivf. My clinic has great results of 45-68% success for Ivf on women 38-40 with Ivf and icsi, with a transfer policy of 2-3 embryos. Now I know my insurance would cover at least 2 cycles, I'm very optimistic about my chances.

But maybe I'll get lucky in the meantime. Having no symptoms seems to be what lots of bfps have, but I just can't see it for myself if you see what I mean? I'm pretty emotionally wiped out. I think it's the heat, all the tragedy in the news, the stress of the last few days of the 2ww. Luckily my dh is amazing, and is spoiling me with Netflix binges and back scratches. And ice cream. I tested the trigger out at 8dpiui and its nearly 11dpiui now. I'll not test again til my beta on Tuesday as it is so awful to see a stark white bfn time and time again.

Starky your little bean has grown into a scrumptious real life human! Gorgeous 💗 I am so happy for you! And for the other bfps too, it's amazing how many are graduating! Hello to the newbies, it's good to have you all on board too 💐🍻🍰

LovelyFishy · 09/07/2016 08:38

Hep I don't think you're waiting their time, even for your own sanity go which is a good enough health reason in itself!

Snow sounds like it's been a bit rough for you, glad your DH is spooling you!

I've been reading the instructions that came with DH's SA - it's going to be a logistical challenge! Preferably 3 days after last intercourse, brought to hospital for analysis within 1 hour of production, max 2. We live nearly 1 hour away from this damn hospital if there's no traffic!!

SnarkyGorgon · 09/07/2016 09:37

AF got me bang on time- balls. Onto cycle 7 I go

Mooseville · 09/07/2016 09:56

Hello all! Just checking in, I have been lurking but crazy busy - putting our flat on the market, so lots of last min decorating and cleaning and been viewing house!! Eek!!! Off to see Take That tonight with the MIL and SIL's!

snarky boo to AF. Get the Chocolate in.

starky what a lush scan photo! I love seeing the grads news!!

jem hope you're feeling better. Got everything crossed that it's pregnancy related illness!

snow here's hoping for that second line. You've definitely been through it...

Mooseville · 09/07/2016 09:57

Oh and hep you must be sooooo frustrated! I'd defo get to the dr, you need some answer either way!

FXSkip · 09/07/2016 22:14

Hey all - thanks to you all for your well wishes and responses. So my early scan has was inconclusive, I'm either 5 weeks (not 7) or the sac never developed and I'll miscarry at some point. The latter is less likely though so I'm away for blood tests this week. The saga continues!

hep what starky/Audrey said! Speaking of whom audrey that is a cracker of a cub GrinGrinGrin

SuchaJem · 09/07/2016 22:26

Everything crossed for you skip love xxx

SnarkyGorgon · 09/07/2016 22:28

Oh Lordy skip, really hope everything's ok

SuchaJem · 10/07/2016 11:18

9dpo today and I'm symptom spotting like a mofo. Come on cycle 7...

Good luck testing on Tuesday snow, glad to hear your oh is looking after you.

Sorry AF got you snark Flowers onwards and upwards to next cycle.

Lovely that does sound tricky! Quite a bit of pressure for him too I'd imagine.

Hi moose you're due to test soon no? Any inklings? Fx.

Hope you are alright skip and little bean is thriving.

Right time to get settled with Brew for the 🎾🎾🎾 xxx

Mooseville · 10/07/2016 13:03

Hi jem Absolutely symptomless and not holding much hope. Just not DTD enough. Only twice I think during fw...
On the plus side, DP has promised to put in every other day effort (if he can!) once we sign the mortgage for the new house...
He's petrified of I get upduffed now they won't give us the same amount of money! That should be within the next month so fingers crossed I get some more effort from him!!!!

Take That were fab however! Had a lovely day! Nice to take my mind off the house sale and TTC - although I was with my pregnant SIL!

skip got everything crossed for you that all comes good and that little bean sticks around.

Snowdog37 · 10/07/2016 14:10

Good luck sucha I hope this is your month!
I just got a stark white bfn on 12dpiui so I guess I'll wait for my blood test on Tuesday now but I think I'm out. So frustrating as all the conditions were right and yet it's still not happening. Must be my eggs. Maybe I'll need to go onto Ivf.

LovelyFishy · 10/07/2016 15:19

Fx for you Skip. Flowers

Sorry AF got you Snarky, Enjoy the Wine.

And poo on the bfn Snow, extra frustrating with all the extra work out in!

Moose glad you had a great time at the show, it's always good to have something awesome like that to take you away from it all for a while.

Jem I'm cd 26 and starting to symptom spot like crazy too. Ovia's not helping, she's egging me on. I don't have any tests in the house but I'm thinking of buying one...

SuchaJem · 10/07/2016 15:34

Moose twice during fw is a good chance imo. And no symptoms before bfp is pretty common on here...

Sorry about bfn snow I got one earlier too - shouldn't really be testing this early but couldn't resist. Sodding single line of doom Envy Let's hope there's better luck for both of us next week.

Lovely get yourself a test in girl!

Read this online just now which I found interesting -

  1. You'll feel like you're getting your period
It's a cruel reality that PMS and the early signs of pregnancy are nearly identical. The reason? You produce more progesterone the week after ovulation—whether or not you're pregnant. Progesterone is the hormone responsible for many PMS symptoms, like bloating, breast tenderness, and mood swings. If you're not pregnant, you'll stop releasing the hormone about 10 days after ovulation. (As levels wear off, your symptoms subside, the uterine lining sloughs off, and you get your period.) If you arepregnant, you'll continue producing progesterone (and experiencing PMS-like symptoms). "The difference between PMS and early pregnancy is very subtle," says Dr. Kim. I knew PMS and bfp were similar but didn't know the progesterone thing until 10 DPO. Will be watching from tomorrow onwards for any changes... Envy
marmitetoast1 · 10/07/2016 17:54

Hi all, back from holiday and feeling a bit meh. Missing the weather and the food, and dreading work tomorrow!

CD7 here and am ready to crack out the OPKs for the first month for this cycle. Hope I'm actually ovulating.... I've read in various places that its best to test in the afternoon, but the Amazon ones I've bought suggest any time between 10am - 8pm is ok, 8pm seems late? I'm guessing earlier than that if possible is better? I'm going to aim for 5.30pm when I get in from work and try to keep it consistent. Also, the instructions just say reduce liquid intake from 2 hours before, I think I've read on here its best to not pee for a couple of hours before hand too, is that right? Sorry, I'm such a novice!

Hep it must be so frustrating for you, I think you should book a GP appointment now rather than waiting til next missed period. You can always cancel it if AF arrives in the meantime.

Audrey/Stark what a great scan picture, so clear! I find it very encouraging hearing news from the Grads! Smile

Jem how are you feeling now? Everything crossed that this is your cycle! (And yaaaay for Murray!)

Sorry for AF Snarky

Hope everything is ok Skip

vixarooni · 10/07/2016 18:43
