We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

I decided on my maternity unit wish last year but not sure now that was where I had MC... Bad memories and all that.... Nevertheless it is defo the better hospital (UCLH versus Whittington). BTW there is a site online where you can compare - as they offer different services.

So NFMW (news from my womble): cd2 baseline scan had my lining at 4.2mm (good), FSH @ 7.9 (lovely), with the news that my consultant has left to be a lady of leisure, my womble is vertical ??????? and so can only use scanner in scan room 3 and as my veins are difficult should always book special nurse for bloods.
Next scan next monday and then likely daily untill egg collection.... Absolutely not a problem as only need to be in 3 different countries at the same time next week

i don't mind at all kwick ! you (and everyone) have been so supportive with me through all my crazy rants (there will be more !!!)

i will keep everything crossed for you, that this time it sticks.

not sure i will have scan this first appointment. think it is blood and urine and lots of q/a to asses my risk factors??

Self indulgent misery update - please scroll past if no misery wanted. So my mc was not over in one miserable day last week after all, exactly 8 days after the misoprostol I started to bleed very heavily, resulting in a mad dash home from work. Then 2 days of heavy bleeding until last night when I am not only faced with 7 hours of unrelenting, unbearable contractions that no amount of naproxen, dihydrocodeine or Panadol could touch, but also my baby cat has escaped and still hasn't come home. And I am still bleeding profusely. I don't have my cat to cuddle and I don't have a baby in my belly, currently feeling preettttyy shitty.

Ok I'm done. Sorry to those of you with AF - let's have and everything else and then keep on keeping on xx

marmite last time I went to the docs at around 5 and a half weeks and they referred me, this time I've self referred and am waiting on an appointment letter. I haven't done any research, but the hospital I picked took my tonsils out a few years ago and they did an alright job there! because obviously throat science and vagina science is very similar

Thanks you guys - massive glass of red wine in hand, reading hilarious thread about veganism elsewhere on mn- nothing brings out the worst in people quite like a debate over vegan diet!! I've emptied the Hoover out the window (we are in a 3rd floor flat!) and called/shook biscuits/dreamies/cat toys out the window. Even played my favourite music all day as loud as I could. si1ver don't feel bad about feeling your feelings, sometimes you've got to hold them, prod them, inspect them, really feel them and then you can straighten up your crown and get back to it. Onwards and upwards.

I said at the start I wanted to live my life so I didn't lose a year to ttc in a blind, emotional haze. Since I got my BFP that went out the window - big lesson learned for me. Now my focus is going to be on being fit, strong, healthy and happy, and if I get another bfp in the meantime then great, and if not then I have lost nothing.

Marmite maybe they just give that information in some locations then. On the NHS choices site right at the bottom of the pages it lists statistics.

Knit my DH and I got our cats 1 week after moving into our first house, we couldn't wait any longer! DIY stuff everywhere and no internal doors as we'd taken them all off but they loved it, giant indoor adventure playground before they were allowed outside!

Silver try not to beat yourself up too much. We've all been there, thinking this is the month, then getting a whammy when AF turns up. Be kind to yourself.

Congratulations hep!! Can't wait for your scan to see how far on you are. My advice be prepared for anything. My friend was convinced she was at least 10 weeks, as was her GP. Turned out her very light rather non existent period was just that, a period, and she was about 5 weeks earlier than she thought. In her words she had what felt like the longest pregnancy in the world haha. Bodies eh....

skip hope the cat comes back soon. They are little buggers! He's probably having a ball wondering around for a but and will be back soon. The bleeding is shit, physically and emotionally! Think I cried everytime I went to the loo I just wanted it to stop soo bad! Vent away on here anytime x

london iv been having freaky dreams last few nights, I was putting green it down to restless sleep.

I've had greasy hair, and starting to feel quite crampy. Honestly ive dtd every second day the last 3 weeks and will be quite pissed if I'm out again. Only thing I feel different this time I've been quite spotty/rashly wish isn't really me (could be hot weather) and when I got waxed it wasn't as painful/red. Symptom spotting is a fouls game really hope our little BFP run keeps going.
