4dpo tiny bit of spotting & pink cm - good or bad?

Ladies, I'm not symptom spotting - honest but I have never had spotting at this stage in my cycle before and I wondered if it was significant.

Any one have any experience? I usually have CM between OV and AF but normally its cramy and this time it's been really thick and plentiful since 2dpo (I had to change yesterday) and then last night late there was the tiniest specks of brownish blood and the tiniest bit of lining and then today slight pink CM. Seems really early to be implantation spotting but would love to hear what you think.

oooh!! Thanks Natty

Thanks Natty, couldn't get on all the boards earlier.

That's so nice of you to think of me Rubles. Given the spotting, do you think the Drs appointment I have on 5/2 is too late (week on Monday) and I should try my hardest to get another one?

I am so happy, so is DH but he is very much is a daze! as am I, I suppose!!

I don't know really, to be honest. I think it's up to you. The most important thing at this stage is that you can relax - so if that means an earlier doctors appointment to help you feel 'looked after' then do it.

The doctor may suggest getting an early scan for you to check that it is implanting in the right place, but he/she might need to wait a week or so anyway until the scan so that it can show up. I remember with dd I had spotting just before AF time, then a day after the BFP and the doc arranged for a scan at what would have been 5 weeks (I think). At that point it showed just the yolk sac but it showed that it was in my uterus.

The thing to remember is that spotting is very common in early pregnancy and doesn't necessarily indicate anything one way or the other - but you only know that in retrospect, at the time it can be quite scary.

Thanks I guess because I have been spotting for days now it is less scary than starting to after a BFP but I did call for an appointment on the off chance and I got a cancellation, first thing Monday with the lady dr I was meant to see the week after so it is obviously meant to be.

If I count back from last AF, I am 4+1 so still very early. I'm not going to temp anymore as that would scare me I think. Is that a mistake? I only had 12 high temps after all.

mrs - you probably remember me saying i had spotting with both of my pregnancies. with my first i saw the gp and then had a scan at the epu at 5 weeks (horrible internal one!) they said.....too early to tell, come back next week for another one and then it was all ok. second time round i had spotting from 3-5 wks and to be honest cos it had happened to me before i just ignored it and all was fine! it is actually amazingly common, but getting it checked will make you feel more at ease!

Hi, could do with some advice from anyone who's willing to give Smile
I had spotting on day 10 of my cycle which i'm certain was ovulation (i have a 24/25 day cycle). I spotted again 3 and 4 days later. I'm now 8dpo and have lots of cm (looks like ovulation cm).
I'm wondering if spotting on 3/4dpo could have been implantation bleed or if there is any other reasons.. Sounds early for implantation bleed but from reading above posts it also sounds possible.
very Confused
