June Bus anyone?!

Hi all

I thought I'd start the June bus as I'm getting impatient!

I'm 31 (for a bit longer anyway), TTC#1. DH and I agreed to start TTC in May, but won't be ovulating till about the 24th. ETD 8th June! Feeling terrified and excited at the same time.

Same here mildrog. I know that if it proves hard I don't want everyone knowing our business, and I like that it'll be a surprise when we tell people, and it's our secret.

Ive been checking my cervix and its high, soft and open so is this my Fw, have I ovulated ?
Also does it mean the 8 month out of date implant is deffo not working? (As said in previous post I've been waiting 9 months for an allergy test for anaesthetic to get it out!)

Am I ovulating or can u have an open soft cervix on the implant ?

My ETD for the stats then is June 17th.

Hi babydances I might be being a moron, but what's CP?

I'm approaching my fertile window but I think Ovia is pissed because say says I am now on day 3 of my fertile week! I haven't even got ewcm yet and my IC opk's are all negative. Expecting my LH surge around 25th or 26th. Does babydances mean CM? Maybe she just hit the wrong key? It is friday after all and we are all tiiiiiiired!

Cervical position , but j may of made the CP up. Mines soft, high and open. Which seems like s good sign so was wondering what everyone else's is. CM I have very little, just wet. Apologies for TMI just trying to work out if we are similar for Jose who are approaching their FW

Oh poooo, it's just me who's tired! Sorry Babydances for assuming your typing skills weren't up to scratch! . I haven't been checking mine, how does it change during a cycle? What should we look out for?

I have the Ovia app, it's really cool at keeping track of any changes throughout your cycle and there's an article of here about cervical position. I also found this one too:

Basically if you put your finger inside you can feel a small donut shape (cervix) and according to how hard/ soft high/ low and whether the hole in it is open or closed gives u a clue as to where you are in the cycle.

So if it's high to reach and feels soft (as soft as your lips) and feels open you are near or in your FW I believe.

If it's low and hard and closed its not. Hard is as hard as the tip of your nose

Midrog I'm keeping ttc quiet. I think people know we're going to have another they just don't really know that we're thinking about it now

I have no idea when my testing date will be. I don't even know how long af will be visiting.this is my first period after I had my baby last April!

I'm 34, TTC #2 (DD very nearly 3), cycles been a bit erratic lately but period tracker suggests ETD 10th June. We've not been actively trying but not trying to avoid pregnancy either so will call this cycle 1 of actively trying. It took 18 months to conceive DD so not holding out huge amount of hope for June but we'll see.

Btw Anyone else not able to feel their cervix?
Apparently I have a tilted uterus according to my gp and he struggled removing my coil in 2014 due to a high cervix and the cords disappearing. Would this prevent me reaching my cervix or is there some sort of jymnastics position I can do to make it reachable lol

I'd never heard of monitoring cervical position while trying to conceive! This forum has already taught me loads and (quite ironically!) I'm a midwife! Getting obsessed with reading things on here already

Haven't been monitoring my CP as I'm trying not to implement too many tactics too early so I can add some each month if it takes a few! For now we're just doing every other day, so no idea about CP !

Hi, can I join for ttc #1 cycle 1 had a chem in jan from not trying/not preventing (withdrawal method) but ready to start ttc proper... dtd for the first time with 'intent' yday (sounds like a crime lol) but too late for this month, expecting ov around 5th June

My ETD will be 10th June! We have told most of our family and friends we re ttc which I regret now as constantly asked 'any news?!'

Ugh that sucks Sunshine. My Mil was hinting in passing recently about "maybe getting to be a grandma before I'm too old.wink We deliberately moved the conversation on.

Ive had to promise DH no obsessivNess over temping and such for now. Obviously I know whereabouts I am in my cycle but we want to enjoy it and like barefoot, have somewhere to go if it doesn't happen a easily as we would like. Although there is already a thermometer in my amazon basket ready to up the game next month...

I feel a bit lost this month as haven't temped but I'm averaging a 29 day cycle and on cd 14 so should be ovulating any day now. Hopefully as this month is the least likely I wanted to get pregnant (lots of Feb birthdays already) I will get pregnant?!? This ttc crap is exhausting, can't wait for a dtd break! That sounds awful but it just feels we have to do it atm to improve our chances rather than a passionate/intimate thing if that makes sense?!
