Hi all newcomers I've had a busy week with my birthday and lots going on at work. Only cd10 here so nothing to report. Went out for s meal last night for birthday and really over indulged will restart the diet tomorrow!

Coil removed Thursday last week and AF has appeared like you would not believe this morning! Reassuring really as I've not had a period of any description whilst the coil was in for the last three years (or the three years before that when I had the implant!!)

Fingers crossed for lots of May BFPs!!!!

I tried Preseed (fertility lubricant) last night, it was pretty, er, messy!

My Fertility Friend app is showing an earlier FW to my Clue app window so we are going to try to DTD every couple of days this week - hope there's no chafing Blush

Everdene I bought some of that but got my BFP before we could use it. Is it really thick?!?! Hahah! Good luck with all the DTD. We will do every other day for a week too when the time comes!!

No it's reeeeeeally thin! You kind of insert it with a tampon applicator type thing, but it went everywhere 'afterwards'!

Yeah I'm really pleased she has turned up (for the first time IN MY LIFE)

By my calculations I would be CD35 on the 14th May which is the nearest Saturday that wouldn't be too early. Saturdays make things easier as I won't be working so can test at leisure. Hopefully by then I won't be totally bonkers/on my period and should stand a chance of a decent BFP! How long I actually hold out is a completely different matter...

Pressed sounds like it does its job then! May have to invest as our usual KY has been banished to the bathroom now haha!

Sounds grim everdeen! It might have been something else I bought then because it didn't have an applicator!

How long were your cycles before having the coil Lucy? Saturday testing sounds good. I planned to wait until Saturday last time but then caved in the middle of the night on the Thursday!

I'm not sure Sunny as I've been on some form of BC for about 8/9 years and I really can't remember what they were like before then (and I suppose at 15 you're really not bothered when it happens, just that it hurts haha)

I'm determined not to cave but I do already have tests- my OH isn't helping by googling when to ovulation test and how to conceive a boy haha. Think he's more excited than me!!

Haha yeah I was exactly the same. I came off the pill after being on for about 11 years and I remember nothing about my cycles other than absolute horror!! Aw that's nice for him though! Are you both hoping for a boy?!

Yeah you've summed me up there! I'm not really bothered so long as it's healthy- would like at least one of each really so it doesn't matter to me which way around they are :) he's currently refusing to eat any dairy, nuts or brown bread... The added bonus is that he has read that if I orgasm before him then it also produces boys so I'm not complaining too much ;)

Haha never read that before!! Oh that's a nice bonus in his madness then!! Yeah happy and healthy is the best approach definitely. I have a DS so another boy would be very good practically but if we have a girl it will be nice to have a go at something different so I'm happy either way!

It all sounds like total rubbish to me but I'm not going to stop him whilst he's doubling his efforts haha! He just keeps saying that if we have a girl then I'll just end up buying it a pony and those cost money- he doesn't believe that a boy would ever want a pony lol. Yeah two boys would be lovely!

lucy we're trying a gentle blue sway too although I like the idea of a tribe of girls and we have proudly tested the ph of our cervical mucus and sperm. The lady at DH's work asked him what he needed it for and he told her!Blush

I keep reading about people avoiding conceiving now because of having a January baby - I'd never realised that was a known practice!

I also didn't realise people were so obsessed about this- I'm pretty sure I don't care when future DC is born so long as I get pregnant quickly enough not to become a raving loony!!! January would make a change in OHs family as someone had a birthday pretty much every month but that one!!

CD 16 and planning to dtd like mad as I've had a positive opk. Getting quite a lot of cramps on the left so wondering if that could be ovulation pains. I completely confused ff as it had said I already ovulated, now it is in a huff saying it can't work out what is going on.

Planning to do SMEP type plan and dtd today, tomorrow and Friday if I can.

everdene it seems there were a few people avoiding conceiving last month so they didn't get a Christmas baby.

everdene sorry I'm late with this (busy few days haha) but the cough syrup thing works... at least that's how I got my bfp last time round Grin.
Just make sure the ONLY active ingredient is guafenisin, if there's any decongestant in there it will have the opposite effect! I'm definitely getting on the guafenisin action this month, I'm severly lacking in ewcm so hoping it will help things along.

Sunny - it did make every thing getting the sleep. DD is 3 and finally sleeping better now she just started pre school. Thanks

Had - I always said no marriage or babies both by 20 years old lol. Then said no more now I want a second . Hope you're getting more sleep now.

Giraffes - sorry af got you,enjoy the pate and alcohol. I'm cycle 10 and dd was a surprise so I know the feeling,good luck though for this cycle.

Ivory- so hard not to symptom spot. Insane sex week is my hubby's fave too lol.

Everdene - we have used preseed too.it is very messy lol.

Update from me, been crazy busy. CD 16 got ewcm hubby decided to go get his sperm count checked. So he has an appointment next week. Went and booked it all by himself. So quite proud xx

Cycle 3 - I got a week of lovely BFP's earlier this month but it turned into a chemical Sad so I am back in the game.

CD6 - counting first day of bleeding from chemical as CD 1.

Fingers crossed for some lovely spring BFP's!
