Thanks for updaing us again seaside. Not many of us left at all now. I see you have a ? when af is due. Are you not sure because irregular or something else? Sorry for being nosey

No sign of af or anything else for me so will give it till Saturday then will test again if af not showed up but am bearing in mind that last month was 8 days late so might be that way again.

Hope everyone is well.x

Fingerscrossed2007 · 22/02/2007 16:28

No sign of anything here. Totally zilch. No sypmptons. Big zero. Nothing. Knowing me will probaly come on tomorrow and that will be the end of this month..

FurryFox · 22/02/2007 16:40

Do you usually get any signs af is on her way fingers?

Nicoletta · 22/02/2007 17:09

Hello! Can I join your gang? So many BFP's, you might have room for me??!

I must admit to lurking about, but I'm as I'm TTC no 1, wasn't sure if I should be here (sob), but you all seem so nice... (little bit of hopeful flattery!).

I have been trying since Sept - so this is month 6 for me, and I'm CD 35. However am so irregular... grrgh! Since I started paying attention to my cycle length has been 31, 34, 44, 33, 28, 29, 30 and 35! I ask you, how's a girl supposed to work like this?

Anyone else this bad? Or am I medical anomoly?? Plus the damn this seems to wait for me to crack and take a test, then hey presto, I get my period. Wow, sorry didn't mean to ramble on so much.....

Thanks for the welcome Lottie - haven't started delving into people's profiles yet (or set one up myself)...

I've been using an ovulation predictor kit. Haven't tried the whole temperature thing yet, worth a go I'm sure. Is it difficult? I'm a bit worried that it'll make me more obsessive though..

These days I don't get that much in the way of symptoms in either direction. Not until a couple of hours before I start. I have a 26 - 28 day cycle. so AF is due today or saturday. The last hours of witing are the worst.

Fingerscrossed2007 · 22/02/2007 17:40

Hi Nicoletta - sorry I didint welcom you earlier. It's just that i had started typing a reply to furryfox post and then had to take a phone call.

Gee wizz tho Nicoletta your cyclye can be long though can't it!

jhyesmum · 22/02/2007 17:40

Congrats heresfor2007 - thats wonderful news!

Hi nicoletta! - really pleased you've joined us!

Fingerscrossed - are you going to test?

Nicoletta · 22/02/2007 17:43

I know what you mean about liking to know what is going on, but I feared I was getting a bit OCD about the whole thing (analysing every tummy pain or mood swing)! Nice to see I'm not the only crazy chick out there though.. Think I will try the temp thing and the book. Information is power!

Nicoletta · 22/02/2007 17:47

Hi Fingerscrossed and Jhyesmum. Ahh what a nice welcome I'm getting! I should have logged on ages ago.

I should be due anytime. Am desperately fighting the urge to test! If I do, I'm sure to get AF (getting the hang of the acronyms) tomorrow, that is the sad pattern - sod's law huh?

Fingerscrossed2007 · 22/02/2007 18:15

I am goign to try really hard not to test. After my hopeless day on Tuesday when I tested and got a "means nothing" negative I am going to try and hang on for dear life.

Nix - sorry I didint get back to you. I woudl have though that at your next appt they will be talking treatment options on the way forward. Dependign on your PCT or whether you have money topay fro provate that may mean startign stright away (eg goign away with a clomid prescription) or goign on a waiting list. Assuming DP has an ok sperm count, do you know what the treatment options are for your condition?

seaside72 · 22/02/2007 18:22

Hi Nicoletta - don't worry you are certainly not alone in the odd cycle lengths - I have been TTC#1 for a year or so and my cycles are not really predictable - shortest 24 - longest 30? If you let us know what CD (cycle day) you are on - then we can add you to the list for roll call

Furryfox - see above for why have a ? for AF due date??!! I have no idea - my average is 26 days but I usually get some signs the week before and like Fingers, I have had none so looks like I could be in for a long cycle this month? Who knows

BTW Nicoletta - feel free to join us on the TTC your first baby thread also if you like

Hi Seaside! I'm CD35 (yikes! another long one for me too - 44 days my record, so feeling hopeful at 35 days has left me feeling blue before..) go ahead and add me to the list. I'll check out the TTC your first baby thread, thanks for the tip.

Fingerscrossed2007 · 22/02/2007 18:47

Looking forward to seeing you over ther Nicolletta.

seaside72 · 22/02/2007 19:07

Hi lottie - I did use the monitor for three months last year - but don't seem to have written down the peak day for one month (doh!!) on the 2 I recorded LP was 11 and 13 days - then I also used the CB smiley face one and LP for that month was 15 days? So no real answers.

Actually Dr just called and said he had my results from my CD21 blood tests and my progesterone level was 50 which he says is fine and confirms that I ov'd? He wants to repeat again in another month to see if ov is consistant?

lottie - when are you testing?

seaside72 · 22/02/2007 19:43

Lottie - I never knew your LP was supposed to stay the same - I am sure mine just relates to the cycle length and as I rarely get 2 cycles the same length it all adds to the confusion! Last month was only 25 days but before that 28, 26 & 27.
Am stunned myself at my gps attentiveness - especially after his colleague was so dismissive last year - just shows it is always worth getting a 2nd opinion!

Good plan about AF fooling tactics - I think I will do the same tomorrow - am off to boots to get DH some wellman supplements (after reading this thread and some more monitor sticks and tampons - going to steer very widely around the preg tests!! (although must admit I do want one of the CB digital ones if I ever do get a BFP!!)
