Thanks for updating. Can't believe I am on cd27 already - time has flown for me this month

Had cramps all day yesterday but none today, am sure af is just around the corner. Not really sure how many days my cycle is anymore as used to be about 29 but last month ended up being 8 days late , will not be doing any early tests though, not until Friday anyway, unless af has already arrived by then, which I'm sure she will have.

London - Sorry you think you might have signs of af already . Would just like to say though, and am not trying to get anyones hopes up, that when I was pg with dd had no signs at all that made me think af wasn't on her way. Had the usual cramps, PMT, sore boobs - all the usual things I got before af arrived. Tested two days early and got BFP so you just never do know.

Good luck to all

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 19:35

Hi Feb gang. And warm welcome to softmusk. Popped on here at lunchtime (eating at desk) today but wasn't efficint enough to MN post and work so had to hang on.

Lottie & Fox - you know that some of the classic signs of pg are v similar to starting your period (given up on the AF phrase). You never know.... until you know....

I have no symptoms what..so..ever. Zilch! I know I am going to have a problem waiting til the weekend to test. I think I have shot myself in the foot a bit too. I now have 4 tests sitting in my drawer..... I hear them calling to me now.......

jhyesmum · 19/02/2007 19:38

Hope she doesn't arrive fingerscrossed. My fingers are crossed for you.

FurryFox · 19/02/2007 20:00

softmusk - I must apologise for not welcoming you on my earlier post How long have you been ttc? Do you know when af is due? Best of luck to you

Fingerscrossed - Yeah I know what you mean, I mentioned in an earlier post that when pg with dd I had no signs that were different to usual af arriving so would never have thought I was pg. Think I just try and convince myself I'm not pg so when af arrives I'm not as disapointed iyswim? When do you think you will test? I've got 14 tests calling to me but am going to try and be really strong this month not sure how successful I'll be though

jhyesmum · 19/02/2007 20:02

right back to ya furry!

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 21:04

jhyesmum - how are you feeling today? Any info from docs/ more signs?

foxy - how the hell have you got that many tests! . If you do test positive this month you could always send us a test each as a goodbye pressie.

softmusk · 19/02/2007 21:05

hi a bit about me in case any one that sad they interested i'm 25 have dd1 age 2 dd2 age 1 have been trying since december so early day was on the min pill before dont no if makes any diff to ttc and my AF is due on the 27th god hate that c*w

cazzybabs · 19/02/2007 21:09

Hope you are all well....

my ear is very sore now!

14 tests is a lot - I don't have any - keep using them when I know I am not. I think I could have paid off third world debt (do they still have any??) with the amount I have spend over the time!

I keep rushing to the loo 'cus I think AF has started...when it can't...must wait till SAturday.

I just keep hoping - am even having phantom cravings - like wanted Thai food on sat (don't normally like - but can't stop thinking about thai curries), any kind of protein is good and am off sweet food (doesn't stop me eating though when hungry but I don't really want it!)

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 21:28

softmusk - nice spacing. Did you manage to get preg quite quickly for the last one or didd you have to go through the ttc saga? I/we just trying fo first since Dec.

Cazzy - how bout you. sounds like you've been there done that with tests.

x

FurryFox · 19/02/2007 21:35

at my 14 tests. Have actually just realised it's 15. Have 14 cheapy ebay ones - got slightly carried away last month while browsing and one clear blue digital left from a pack of two.

Fingerscrossed - I think that is a great idea about giving away the tests and promise I will do this. I will distribute them as equally as possible however, I expect I will end up using them all myself within the next 3 months if not pg as do tend to have a slight obsession with pg tests

cazzybabs - Have been there myself with the knicker watching never had any phantom cravings though....are they are definately phantom??? You've probably already said but how long have you been ttc? Sorry if you have said already.

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 21:50

oh no all this talk of tests. its making me want to do one in the morning.

Wanna know a secret when my friend got preg she gave me her leftover ebay tests. So I have 7 altogether!!. I didn't want to tell her that I had been collecting them already. Just call me nuts.
x

jhyesmum · 19/02/2007 21:58

Hi Fingers! - Still a bit sicky, nipples like dinner plates!.

Just going to have to wait!

That's something i'm not very good at!

heresfor2007 · 19/02/2007 22:37

Welcome Softmusk. Well it looks like I'm the next one with Af due. I've just about got past CD26 which is when AF arrived last month, getting through tomorrow will be the real test though. As far as any signs of AF, I think I'm just trying to cover them all up. DH hasn't made any comments about 'AF must be arriving soon then' so think I have managed to hide the stroppiness so far . Don't usually get cramps until literally just before so that's no help and I've had the usual pmt spots on my face although they seem to have cleared up sooner than usual. The problem with the 2ww is that you end up over analysing everything and it does my head in.
Good Luck everyone else that's still left in the Feb game.

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 22:46

Alittlebitshy - are you out there? we miss you.

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 22:49

Trying to stop myself thinking about all the niggles and possible signs in my body.

Did and of you see the "if only...." post a while ago? My fave was "if only womens belly buttons turned green as a sign that they were pregnant"
If you could change the world for a day what would your funny suggestions fro pregncny signs be?

Fingerscrossed2007 · 19/02/2007 22:49

That should say signs of pregnancy...

softmusk · 19/02/2007 23:03

Fingerscrossed2007 dd1 we ttc for ten months after coming of the mini pill

with dd2 i was booked to have a coil fitted appointment was canceled so used condoms didnt once and fell pregnant with her

cazzybabs · 20/02/2007 09:58

Furryfox - well had 2nd miscarriage on Christmas day...so this is 1st month after that!

cazzybabs · 20/02/2007 09:59

Fingerscrossed2007 - it would be like those baboon's bottoms turing bright red when they are fertile!

FurryFox · 20/02/2007 13:07

Fingerscrossed - Done any tests today? I have so far managed to avoid doing one. Mainly because I think af is soon to arrive so don't really want to waste a test just for it to be a BFN.

cazzy - Sorry about your mc. What an awful time to have that happen to you, not that there is a good time. Sorry if I have offended anyone by saying that

heresfor2007 - any sign of af yet? Do you usually have quite short cycles?

Am just hoping that if I'm not pg this month then af arrives on time rather than 8 days late like last month.

Good luck to all still waiting

jhyesmum · 20/02/2007 13:38

I'm wagging work this afternoon

Cazzybabs - so sorry about mc. Really not fair.

Right, although I have missed my last AF, I am presuming that i'll get my next one. Count down to next Tuesday starting today (27th).

If it doesn't come, I had better get a BFP!!!

heresfor2007 · 20/02/2007 21:18

Well, I've just been to the loo and so can confidently say that AF hasn't reared her ugly head yet. My back has been achinga bit today and yesterday, but I think that is more due to lugging stuff around on Sun and being on my feet at an exhibition all weekend.
My cycles used to be 28 days on the dot for years unil my last mc in Sept, and since then it was 3months of 27days and last month 26.
Today is CD 27 and nothing as yet, but even though I am hoping, I am not counting my chickens (or rather, testing) until
Thursday.
Fingerscrossed - I would like the sign of pregnancy to be the Clear Blue Fairy leaving a test on the doorstep only when it is needed - it would save alot of money and wasted tests!!
I haven't got any in the house and have decided that I'm going to get one tomorrow afternoon if AF hasn't shown up by then, and then wait until Thursday morning before testing as she can quite often turn up in the middle of the night waking me up with cramps.
It's funny as DH is sitting next to me transfixed on the football on TV and totally oblivious to the fact that I'm wandering whether I'm pregnant or not!! He's quite happy to aid in the process of bd'ing but then really doesn't pay any attention to when my AF might be due. But in some ways I like it that way, as I am trying not to revolve our lives around this at the moment.
Good luck to those of you who are getting closer hopefully to a BFP - anyone given in to early testing yet???

Strange question....how soon after conception do you get sore boobs?...mine are SO painful at the moment and AF not due till about 5 March! Whats going on?

heresfor2007 · 21/02/2007 10:23

Not really sure berocca. My boobs are not sore at all although they are a bit bigger. Problem is I've got all out of sink with my body and wasn't paying any attention to what usually happens before AF is due so don't know whether that is a sign of AF or a BFP. Basically, I haven't really got any signs of AF, but not really any signs of a BFP either! If I go by the last four months or so, AF is now late, but if I ignore the last four months or so, and go by the rest of my life, AF is due today, so who knows. I'm tempted to test but got no tests in the house and am really broke so don't want to buy one and test if it's going to arrive anyway. So....just need to make it through to this afternoon when I pop to the shops, I will buy a test if she hasn't turned up by then. Will keep you all posted.
