Treated myself to an early night with my book last night (DH away) fell asleep by 10pm, so lovely. THEN at 10.50 a friend texted me to tell me that another friend had just had a baby girl - I didn't even know she was pg, so felt really pissed off and couldn't go back to sleep, so today I'm pissed off and tired and have lost all hope of my bfp. My emotions are so fragile at the moment, the tinyist things really get to me. If one more friend announces a pg/baby, I won't be responsible for my actions!!

Not a substitute Lottie but apparently being close to babies and pregnant women can get your brain into gear for making your own, always a good reason for a snuggle up with a newborn . Nomore, don't lose that positivity, I read that you felt this could be the cycle and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you

My BF had a baby 2 weeks ago - he's adorable and I can't get enough of him (I hugged him lots mrs mc, so maybe old wives tale will work) but anyone else (in RL, on here I'm happy for you all) announces a pg I'll go mental. Not helped by a colleage announcing she's going to be a granny - her daughter's 17 and got pg by accident. AAAARRRGGGHHH!!

Magnolia - I finally decided to stop lurking and start posting because I'm feeling bizarrely optimistic this month too. Maybe it's that whole spring thing happening already. I got so excited with the flurry of BFP's in the new year that I knew I'd want to be part of that if it ever happens. At least an additional name on the Feb lists should help with the statistical occurrance of BFP's this month.

BTW my af due date is an attempt to fool myself - if I get as far as the 14th it will be a very exciting pee on a stick morning. Far more likely to be moving over to March thread on 12th or 13th.

hi everyone

I got a BFP this morning and again at lunchtime!!!! Can't believe it, i'm still in shock. We have only been ttc for about 3 months so i can't believe how lucky we've been.

Just want to say thanks to everyone on the board, although i have posted much i have read all your posts faithfully and the advice, support has been great. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone!!!!

I will still be reading to see how everyone is getting on.

Hi rattling - it sounds like you and I are in a similar position, though I still have a long way to go to be able to say I've tried all the pills etc...but this is the first time I've felt like it ^might6 just happen. Even DH said today that I'm not being very pre-menstral!

TTC since March 06 (feeling hopeful this month - probably due to all the excitement on this thread!) AF due 20-23 so I'll try not to think too much about it until then..

Hi Lottie, I have to say thanks fro your tips on my other post (ovulation testing).

Got niggling pains on my left hand side which I've always taken fo imminent ovulation. Not OPK yet today but am hoping it holds off for sat. I want to get full value for the weekend we have booked away. Heading of tomorrow afternoon.. well that is if the snow lets us et out of London.

Anyone else working at home today?

Afternoon all,
How are you all doing? I'm off work because of the snow - got as far as the next village before I was too freaked out by the slipping and sliding to be able to carry on. DH had to come and rescue me (on his bicycle-which we then had to get in the back of my small car...)
Anyway - CD29 no sign of AF for me yet, due today or tomorrow, will be testing on Sat (if I get that far) it's mine and DH birthday, would be a fab b'day pressie for both of us.
Have just made yummy chocolate brownies but am trying to stop cats eating them while they cool down (the brownies, not the cats! )
How's everyone else doing?
