Irregular, I'm not due to test until 7th but I'm pretty sure I ovulated 5/6 days earlier than anticipated and my cycles tend to be fairly erratic. I will try and hold out until the 7th though because I know what Starky will say if I don't.

Twinkydink maybe it is a cyst then... lets see what GP says yesterday... I too have a bit of an onsession with popping blackheads... have you seen the videos on YouTube?

Starky I think your theory on POAS makes a lot of sense - I have done cheapies from 3 days from af and then FRER on day af due (or 16 days post iui)... all bfn though :(

Bellini - basically it could just be a line caused by the urine evaporating, rather than the hormone showing.

Evap lines (supposedly) tend to be a bit grey, quite thin, and very faint. They don't tend to have the proper colour of the line, or the boldness.

Also, Bellini, the ones I've seen that are faint but have turned out to be BFPs, the colour does seem to be pinkish (or whatever it's supposed to be, etc.).

This doesn't mean a grey one can't be a BFP, but apparently (strong word as there are no hard and fast rules), a faint pink line is less likely to be an evap line than a grey- ish one.

Not an expert though! I'm sure someone else will come along shortly with better info! Hope that helps

kat I'd be 9 weeks if I am... (going from the initial positive test back before Christmas!) ...

I'm must ever so slightly wary of those tests bel I had a twin pack last cycle, and when I did them, two days apart, they both came up with a very thick, shiny, mainly grey but veeeery faint pink line. Within the time limit. And then af arrived. I wrote about it on here, I classed mine as an evap and then came on so i decided I didn't trust them. That's the only reason I'm cautious of them. I did wonder if I'd had a chemical but decided I wasn't going to think about that. I'm sure yours is a bfp, I'm just overly wary of them! Especially before 14 dpo.

I'm cd 24 today. No symptoms and really not hopeful this month due to combo of ovia messing up fw and OH's resistance cos I got too militant!!! Strangely feel bit more relaxed about it now though - roll on cycle 2!

Ovia is telling you to whatnow!? My Ovia never tells me anything exciting. It gives me recipes and in one breath tells me I'm totally preggers and the next that AF is on her way (to be fair, I had period pain on Sat morning and thought AF was definitely on her way, so I will forgive Ovia that time).

How far after a positive OPK test do you actually ovulate? Not sure how many dpo I am. I think 9.

what a fucker evergreen just to share my story - I often find it very painful when dtd - probably one of the reasons I am going it alone - I got tested for C (will not even try to spell) and am in the clear... it may just be how you are "built"

irregular think we are testing buddies (29th jan) as i am going to test then as i dont trust the doctor when she said my light bleeding was af as i didnt have cramps or anything!! Had spotting for the past 2 days which has suddenly stopped so going to hold out for the next 4 days and test with fmu xx
