Confused, given that my DH asked me to marry him via text message, I would be tempted to go the what's app route myself!

I dunno, I kind of want to do it in a nice way but not OTT cheesy. I take a lot of action shot photos (got a new gopro for christmas) so might take some and get him to look at them but have the positive test right at the end of the slideshow

I'm thinking of going to the little restaurant where we had our wedding reception and getting the lady there to bring his glass of wine in a baby bottle (I know she would play along!)

I've never done anything other than show him the test and he goes "Oh. Cool." And doesn't seem to care that much. He gets excited later. Except with DS2 when I showed him the test and he said it was too faint to count and we argued, and then I got a CB digital and thrust it under his nose with a "ha. Told you". So romantic

But I do like the idea of a nice announcement.

I'm at work and have just thrown up. I'm so glad I'm in on my own today! I've got a horrible taste in my mouth and I can't get rid of it. You know when you bleed and can taste the iron? Kind of like that. I can't deal. Also, thrush returned this morning but it's weird as it's disappearing by about noon.

Thanks impy and confused. I think I only threw up because of this awful taste! And I'm convinced it's because I drank an overly hot cup soup. Not due to test for another 5 days but I got my fw all wrong I think as it stared earlier than ovia suggested.

Aww that's a sweet idea feef. I saw a video a few weeks ago. The wife had put a bun in the oven, waited til hubby got home and told him his tea was in the oven. It took him a while to catch on but I thought it was pretty funny

My problem is that once I know I will be such an emotional wreck that I won't be able to hide it, he will know instantly that something is up! So whatever I do it'll have to happen quickly!

Yeah, I'm terrible at hiding things plus I think the scream from the bathroom might just give it away

True miley and confused I would like to buy the shoes now and be ready to surprise him but I am scared of tempting fate which I realise is ridiculous!

I just asked DH how he'd like to be told and he said I should tell him I'm taking a test and we should watch the line appear together. He asked me not to try to think of a cute way to tell him as he wants to be involved in the whole thing instead of me having the fun.

Cute, but does rely on me having to tell him each time I test! So my new goal (and I need you guys to be firm for me here please!) is to just take a test on the day AF is due next month. Literally going to be the hardest thing ever but that's my resolution.

So we told MIL what may or may not be going on last night (she's come to stay for a while as thinking of moving abroad) she is delighted... and also said she had negative blood and urine tests when she was pregnant with OH! Crazy!

summary for kat we are all still insane, we have one confirmed bfp lauren and the tww is dragging for those in it. jam has sensibly decided to wait till af doesn't show to test and we are discussing how we'd tell our dps that were pregnant!

Thinking on though, Dh will probably know before me, he is really weird and can "smell" When I'm ovulating and when I'm due on. It's so odd, coup, e of days before af he'll tell me "you're coming on " and sure enough. ..and last month he was insisting I smelled different, I did an opk and got a positive!

re baby names - Lisa you're not Greek?!?! My DH is, so we shall be having Greek names. but not the ones i want. boo :( Unless i have two of the same sex... then they are getting a greek god/goddess name and i dont care if anyone thinks its ridiculous. !!

Had a bit of a wobble last night with DH telling me he didnt think we were ready for a baby financially. i went to sleep in a sulk. but managed to convince him to dtd this morning so all may not be lost.
