We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies fart stories make us laugh

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, a resident piss stick queen runner, loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

imp ur bfp typo made me a teeny bit excited then.. Sorry another bfn.

Big temp drop this morning, so just waiting for the bwitch to arrive

Baby names - I've got same connections as you imp (I.e I am! And in SE), but I prefer the poncified names Grin

Laurenrl · 23/01/2016 07:49

No chemists open last night to get a proper test and couldn't hold it til they open at nine, but got a slightly darker line on a cheapie again and saved some FMU for when super drug opens

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 07:50

Sorry Zazzles! Just about the worst typo to have on a ttc thread GrinGrinGrin

Nothing wrong with a bit of ponce. Tbh the more dealings o have with children the more I realise London is a haven for the weird abs wonderful when it comes to names!!

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 07:51

Lauren please feedback on your saved fmu if it hits the 6 hour mark - I'm still trying to work out if in just a toxic freak HmmGrin

Fab line there though!

Confusedcat1 · 23/01/2016 08:02

Isn't it funny, before I was Ttc it never even occurred to me that a pregnancy test could be inconclusive or dubious or that we would be analysing lines.... I always just thought if you were pregnant it would be blindingly obvious like in the photos on the instructions
😂

Guess I am born to be a clear blue digital girl, problem is they are not very sensitive are they?

I'm now 9dpo and starting to get antsy. I'm determined not to test before a missed af though. I don't have any Internet cheapies!

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 08:10

Confused I love clear blue digital, it's my go to for confirmation, but no, they're not very sensitive. eBay cheapies are, and at 1.70 for 10 I don't mind going mad on them Grin

Mileymoocow · 23/01/2016 08:16

I have no IC pregnancy test but I do have opks left which I'm currently using to satisfy my poas urge because I'm only 7dpo if I'm not upduffed this cycle I might treat myself to a cb fertility monitor as a treat for suffering af's ugly face again.

Confusedcat1 · 23/01/2016 08:21

Which eBay cheapies do you use impy?

Kathrino · 23/01/2016 08:23

Um, I also thought that pony colic was the same as baby colic and had always wondered why it seemed (from my experience of reading horsey books when I was a child) so much more serious in a horse than a baby...BlushBlushBlush

Feefeefs · 23/01/2016 08:26

harriet I like its Irish names too it was all the arguing over spelling and whether or not it was a "new" name etc that was annoying me!

Our names are a bit boring DH has a family name which has to be continued and then I would like to call a DD after my mum. If we have a third I think they're getting a crazy name Grin

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 08:28

They're called one step

Evergreen15 · 23/01/2016 09:08

I am Spanish and DP is the most loving English man SmileSmile
We both love plants so a plant flower name would be ideal. However, I need a name that both families can pronounce. A part of me wanted a Spanish name since it is already hard for my family that we live over here, nice to show my roots Smile
But all the nice names have that rolling rrrrrrr or the c that sounds more z or aren't baby names as Lola

But I will think about that when I am well upduffed. I think it is a beautiful thing to do and I am saving it Smile

I think people can ruin that beutiful thing by arguing so much

Zazzles our baby name list would kick ass! We would come up with the most exciting ones!

Stark your sis sounds hilarious! And why on earth are you up at 3 am?!

Welcome EllieSmile

Miley I LOVE the name River. OMG!!!! It sound so free and wild!!! SmileSmileSmileSmile

Imp!!!! That is an awful typo!!! i thought you meant BFP and I was throwing my hands in the air!!! But you are not out...it is all fun and games in the Fab bus Grin

Lauren well done on hoarding. It is 9:10, show us the goods

Runner05 · 23/01/2016 09:12

Lauren that looks positive to me. Get yourself a FRER to confirm.

I know I've said it a million times but if there's a line on a FRER no matter how faint you know you are upduffed!

Laurenrl · 23/01/2016 09:18

I think this ones pretty clear! So so so happy

Mileymoocow · 23/01/2016 09:22

Ok so I'm jealous you're all exotic! A few of yous have awesome roots and options for names, can't wait to hear what you all decide on Grin I've never in my life wished anything upon strangers as I wish bfp's on you all.

Yay lauren it's definite now!

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 09:30

Evergreen my husband is a French and Spanish teacher, so loads of our friends are either French or Spanish. The Spanish one with English dh called her baby Zoë. What I love most when we're all together is hearing how lovely all the names sound in slightly different accents! When we picked for DSs everyone said "Oh you need a name that sounds the same in both", but we decided we didn't. We needed a name that could be pronounced in both, but it doesn't matter if it sounds different! It's lovely! (Although we ruled out names if the pronunciation in one language was awful! I couldn't live with Vincent or Thibault in English! Or Nathaniel in French) And children aren't silly, they can cope with accents. And I love that even my 3 year old changes the way he says his name depending on which language you ask in!

I laughed my head off recently as one friend speaks to them in Spanish all the time to teach them largely unsuccessfully and my eldest has a name which starts with a V - he's cottoned on that there's a pronunciation difference and now has an adorable faux-Spanish version of his name Grin

Plant and flower names are lovely!

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 09:31

woohoo Lauren congrats!!!! Fantastic!!!

Laurenrl · 23/01/2016 09:37

Thanks guys, so excited and it's nice to talk to people as I'm not planning on telling anyone other than OH until as close to 3 months as poss!

DPs reaction was sweet, last night he was really smiley and kept looking at me but didn't talk much, this morning he went to get the super drug test and after that one came back with a line he said, 'I'm gonna be a daddy' then picked up the cat and said 'are you ready for a brother or sister' hahaha turns out because he'd never seen anything like the paper one he didn't believe it til it was on the plastic one 'like what you see on films' hahahahahahahhahaha Smile

Passing my luck on to everyone else on this forum, you've all helped so much so far!

Chocaholic88 · 23/01/2016 09:42

Hi ladies! What have I missed
Yep stark horse colic is definitely not like baby colic 😂😂
lauren congratulations!! How many DPO are you??

Anything else happened?

My boobs are so sore... not even reducing in the slightest!

ElleSarcasmo · 23/01/2016 09:44

LOL at your DSis Starky! I have images of babies rolling on the floor now!

Miley is River a boys name? I like it too.

Impy your little one sounds cute 😊

Evergreen I have a Spanish colleague called Marta which I think is a gorgeous name.

Welcome Ellie!

Confusedcat1 · 23/01/2016 09:44

Congrats Lauren I'm really happy for you! That's cute about dh and the cat Haha! XxxxxFlowers

Laurenrl · 23/01/2016 09:46

12 DPO choc, well actually I wasn't temping or using OPKs so that's an estimate based on CM and pain in the left ovary for most of the 11th jan (I know it's my ovary as after my cyst was removed I got very familiar with where my ovary was and how it felt haha)

ElleSarcasmo · 23/01/2016 09:50

Choco are you getting another blood test this week? It feels like we've you've been waiting ages!

Chocaholic88 · 23/01/2016 09:56

No idea elle !! I'm phoning the midwife on Tuesday who saidothe last time I spoke to her that if I hadn't bled she'd probably see my anyway if symtpoms were the same... supposed to be seeing her on Thursday. So confusing!

Never ever felt like this before (especially the nausea, slobbery mouth and swollen sore boobs - I'm very tiny and 32c is a BIG change) unless I've been pregnant lol!

Mileymoocow · 23/01/2016 10:01

elle river is a girl though I could imagine it for a boy too 😊

lauren how cute! He sounds as though he's over the moon! Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months. I often fantasise about how I would tell OH (he wants to be there while I take the test - weirdo).
