Thread 7! Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in cm management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies fart stories make us laugh

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, a resident piss stick queen runner, loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

Ooh ever honestly some people get sooo marked over there! I rarely contribute! If I volunteered my name choices I'd be hung drawn and quartered, they'd probably pluck out my ovaries for good measure too! People get so angry about baby names! The way I see it, the chances of any bean of mine being a high court judge are slim to Nada so if I want to call my imaginary sprout something outlandish then I totally shall! Grin

Evergreen15 · 22/01/2016 22:12

Hahaaaa pluck out your ovaries GrinI agree!! Plus what is this business of some names only are appropriate if the baby is born on a certain month??

Is this how people introduce themselves? Hi, my name is Ruby, I was born in October Hmm

Too many rules!!!

We are happier here, talking about pissy sticks and farts GrinGrinGrin

Feefeefs · 22/01/2016 22:12

Oh god tho starky I'm Irish and that thread is painful I must never look at it again or will be reduced to bitchy comments

Kwick709 · 22/01/2016 22:15

Thank God it is Friday!

Boobage bump is still in volcanic stage and now have massive bump on my chin - which is highly unusual for me. Have no idea was is going on but I am knackered so off to bed in a mo.

Sweet dreams everyone.

LisaTheGreek · 22/01/2016 22:17

Happy Friday everyone!

Congrats Lauren! Wonderful news!

Sorry to hear about people's AF arriving. I know it's nowhere near the same but over the last four hours I've gone from normal health to the worst cold ever. Suddenly came over with this horrible achy and fuzzy head, runny nose, and sore throat. Was out shopping and suddenly all the lights were way too bright and I could barely stay standing.

In bed with lemsip now.... :(

Laurenowls · 22/01/2016 22:35

Anyone else feel bloated towards the end of their cycle?? Feel like my stomach is massive and feel knackered even though i slept well...

Feefeefs · 22/01/2016 22:35

Actually I may never venture out of our lovely thread again there's some very odd and vengeful characters on here! I like our no judgement supportive bunch Smile

harrietm87 · 22/01/2016 22:55

feef I'm Irish too!
I quite like the baby name thread - I love planning names and it gives me ideas!

I'm definitely giving my babes Irish names - I think they're beautifulSmile

Dubbya · 22/01/2016 23:16

Congratulations lauren! Flowers

stark beware of Google self diagnosis!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 22/01/2016 23:26

I'm so northern, I sound like Donna from two pints of lager and a packet of crisps. But Dh is Welsh so I can get away with some Welsh names. I know a summer born baby called Winter. And I have a niece called Ocean. I'm allowed slightly out there names I think, because I like them! Grin as are we all!

Some people just get really judgemental and rude and stereotypical and mean, especially on there. And depending on the day depends in the feedback, sometimes I think everyone on those threads have children called Emily and Oliver. Lovely names, but safe, if you know what I mean. It's all a much of a muchness!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 22/01/2016 23:29

Just to clarify, there's absolutely nothing wrong with either Emily or Oliver, they're classic, it just tends to be the middle class mummy mafia on baby names who decide that Sapphire is a cheap name or Shannon sounds chavvy or whatever. And I think it's unnecessary. Katie Hopkins gone mad sometimes there!

imp sorry about Crappy false positives - enjoy choc bailys tho, very jel Envy

ever stark we can start our own baby name lists! Bugger what other people think Grin

ElleSarcasmo · 23/01/2016 00:52

Congratulations Lauren! Flowers

Lisa sorry you're feeling poorly, hope you feel better after some rest.

Wow you guys were right about baby names! So entertaining!

Totally agree with what others said about people playing down the trying...it does make it harder to deal with it not happening straight away. Going to try and concentrate on staying positive and trying to get as healthy as possible.

No news here, CD 22 (of 28-33-hopefully closer to 28 this month!) and feel disappointingly normal! Last month I convinced myself I had every symptom going. I'm spending less time on Ovia, wonder if the two things are connected?! Grin

ElleSarcasmo · 23/01/2016 00:53

Imp hope you will have your BFP soon Flowers

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/01/2016 03:19

One for the horsey ladies...was watching a programme about babies with my dsis, the baby was crying and couldn't be soothed, nappy change, a fuss, fed, nothing was working, so I was trying to explain how some babies have colic. She looked at me with abject horror and went "but babies can't walk! How do you walk a baby?! They're already lying down! How do you stop then rolling?! Do you ring a vet? A doctor?!" And I had to explain, after I'd finished laughing, that baby colic was different from horse colic and didn't mean twisted guts! She was MOST relieved. I think for a split second she thought we'd have to have the imaginary baby put down by a vet! Grin

She also managed to scare the bejeesus out of me by making me think the dog was deathly ill, it had a rice sized tumour! We were taking the dog to the vet first thing Monday and had me googling the pet insurance....until she realised it was the dogs microchip!

In other news, I've just come outside for a 5 minute cool down as I was boiling, something hissing in the dark outside in a rhythmic fashion, I thought it was some kind of ghost until I realised it was in fact, coming from next door, he must be sleeping with the window open and it was his sleep apnoea machine.

Sage to say, it's been one of those nights!

EllieJayJay · 23/01/2016 03:44

I lost my hope again today

Mileymoocow · 23/01/2016 06:23

starky as a horsey woman, I'm laughing so hard at your sister! Please keep a watchful eye on her incase your dc ends up with a head collar on being dragged round for trying to lie down.

Hi ellie and welcome Smile

Mileymoocow · 23/01/2016 06:28

Oh and as for bizarre names, I have 2 baby cousins called River and Gage, and my friends little boy is called London James jury is still out on that one. I like odd names, OH isn't so keen. Ours are relatively safe choices. Hi5 to Northern tho stark. Tho I'm unfortunately more Cheryl Cole sounding, not looking. Sigh.

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 06:34

Starky I'm laughing so hard at walking the baby. And at your ghost!

Lisa I hope you feel better soon. That sounds rough! I recommend chic baileys. It's my new cure for everything.

Hi Ellie welcome to the thread Smile

Baby names are a mine field. My two have French names, mainly because we've always planned to eventually upsticks. But they do sound a bit poncetastic in SE London. If the next one is a girl she's getting a Welsh name. Loads of girls walking round UK with French names with no French connection, anyone who doesn't like my tenuous Welsh connection can swivel.

BFP this morning. Pretty sure that's the outcome for the cycle and I'll be joining the Fab bus Wink but still got a few days left to delude myself

Mileymoocow · 23/01/2016 06:51

impy I got so excited there but I think you mean bfn? You're not out until you're out 😉

ImpYCelyn · 23/01/2016 06:53

Aargh Miley well spotted! Yes, sadly I did mean bfn

LisaTheGreek · 23/01/2016 07:29

Happy weekend everyone!

Thanks for all the lovely get-well-soon messages. It's just a bad cold and will hopefully scuttle off in a few days.

I would love to have a nice connection to foreign names or something interesting. I'm from Kent, so a boring Southerner.

I'd never been on the baby names thread before but went to check them out last night. Saw someone had named their child Temperance (nothing wrong with that but as a Simpsons fan it just reminds me of the trashy romance book Marge writes - 'her name was Temperance Barrows and her heart was heavy with feeling'. Maybe it's just me....!
