Thread 6! Wowzers! Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in cm management!

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, a resident piss stick queen runner, loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

But on the whole, we're a good bunch, especially bunch who is literally, a bunch. bunch

choc I genuinely can't believe you haven't had another bfp. This is so weird, bless you! If you still don't get anywhere with your doctor then hopefully you did ov at least and you're in with a good chance ☺

I ov'd earlier than I thought so I'm not sure if we dtd enough as OH has been in nights. Pos opk yesterday, which means fw 12th til today. Dtd 12th, 15th and 16th (yesterday) and will today just for good measure I realise this is probably enough but I'm in wild panic mode as the plan was to dtd every day!

Chocaholic88 · 17/01/2016 11:24

So so random isn't it miley

I've kind of accepted I can't be pregnant but the midwife says if I got a positive and haven't bled then she still thinks I'm pregnant ... I'm not sure whether it's wishful thinking on my part or if it's maybe not as unusual as I think?!

Now I've mentioned it indirectly to a few friends, quite a few have come back saying they've known a friend or family with the same. My friends sister got negatives most of her pregnancy --she knew because she was confirmed pregnant and having scans but tested just to see if it would ever show. How crazy is that?!

Holly300 · 17/01/2016 11:51

Choc, I have heard that hcg gets less and less after the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Chocaholic88 · 17/01/2016 12:31

holly I don't think it gets less, I think it just slows down in production? Not sure!

Either way in 2 weeks or so we should know what's going on... I hope! xx

Laurenrl · 17/01/2016 13:15

Got baby fever today and looking at baby clothes online. Really need to not get over excited haha

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/01/2016 13:21

I'm just sort of hoping for the best and will deal with the worst if/when it happens. I don't see the point in worrying about something that, at the moment, I have very little control over. Which is weird as I'm a highly anxious person by nature! My plan this cycle is to relax a bit more! Going to do okp's from about a week after the end of af and dtd every other day all month as far as timing/work schedule allows! And will see what happens!

choc it's very odd, I'm confused for you!

Kat I seem to be getting 2 day Periodsdespite 30/33day cycle...you'd think the longer cycle, the more time to build up lining!-1st day heavy, 2nd light. My acupuncture lady doesn't reckon that's a problem. I stumbled across this yesterday...foods for different times in the cycle to support the body's work at the different times www.mindbodygreen.com/0-12938/10-food-rules-to-live-by-if-youre-trying-to-get-pregnant.html

Stark I get the frustration with the longer cycles...get this, after Ovia's cock up with suggesting my fertile week began at CD4 it now says 38 days until next fertile week!! I am not listening to you Ovia! I shall ovulate CD16-20 whether you like it or not!

Laurenrl · 17/01/2016 13:46

Tmi alert, just been for a wee and when I wiped there was the most CM I have ever seen, I'm talking quarter of a shot glass full, white/clearish, kind of looked like snot (sorry, sorry I know)- anyone else had this? I have a feeling it's my cycle being majorly messed up from the pill and not being sure what to do / what is going on. Didn't have much at the time I should have ovulated.

Feefeefs · 17/01/2016 14:05

Maybe cycle not quite predictable after pill lauren.

Feeling very frustrated atm, FW just began and DH is sick, again. stomach bug/food poisoning and eye infection. Which shouldn't rule out DTD altogether but will definitely make it less often.

He is all for doing this causally which is fine but just feeling like I come second to work sometimes he never calls in sick even when like today he clearly should for health and safety.

I keep getting left with his knackered tired self and he works double shifts etc to get more time off so he can sleep/play Xbox. Where's my time?

Holly300 · 17/01/2016 14:07

Choc, sort of what I meant, usually after the 12 week mark pregnancy tests can show negative results due to less hcg in urine.

KatOnATinRo0f · 17/01/2016 14:25

I went on the pill at age 14 as periods were so heavy, I started at 11 Shock so after a few years it wasn't getting better I went on the pill.
On the pill AF was pretty non existent... Since stopping i have changes in boob size (thank fuck for that!! These little a cups spend about a week at a b... I keep going up to DH waving them at him saying "look at my gigantic breasts... He laughs with the laugh of a man who may have actually seen gigantic breasts :( )
And a lot more cramping but not really and more bleeding

Snowdog37 · 17/01/2016 14:38

10dpo here (it's going quite fast!) and still no symptoms of anything at all. Very little cm. Watery pink spotting on Friday evening. Mild left sided cramps on and off from then, big spike again yesterday and down again to 97.89 today. Feel feverish every now and then this weekend so I take my temp and it's always around 97.8-98 so not a fever at all, but nicely above my cover line of 97.29. Totally flummoxed as I had so much going on last month, talk about from one extreme to another! Ovia says 16 days til my next fertile window so I'm focusing on that!

Chocaholic88 · 17/01/2016 14:39

Ahh I see what you mean holly well her son didn't show up before then either! It's only because she has a scan for 'issues' as her period stopped that she found out she was pregnant (even though she was already sure she was)

starky I'm so confused too. Fair play if I'm ovulating right now, however, wtf with the 4 positive tests, no bleed and all these symptoms!?

kat I'm usually an A cup too... 32c!!!! At the moment. I keep doing the same to my OH (who has always been with women with more impressive boobs than me). Apparently he likes my he says perfect I say tiny boobs because they are always there looking awesome and don't drop when I take my bra off 😂😂 he makes me laugh

Snowdog37 · 17/01/2016 14:45

Kat my girls are 40ddd so god help me if I do get upduffed. It's hard enough to find a comfy but supportive bra that doesn't look like military grade equipment as it is.

LaraG13 · 17/01/2016 14:47

snow the sporting sounds very promising! Do you ever normally get that? I don't understand temping - is the raised temp considered to be a sign? When you planning to test?

LaraG13 · 17/01/2016 14:47

Spotting, not sporting

Mileymoocow · 17/01/2016 14:51

Lol! lauren that was me a couple of days ago. It was literally like someone had been trying to make an egg white omelette in my vag. Vile.

I wish I has smaller boobs.. (32DD here) and I'm literally exhausted over stressing about them being far to big to even fit through a door when they're bursting with milk not to mention what they'll look like when they're not filled with milk any more and are filled with emptiness and depression dragging them down

Just bought expecting better on my kindle - toasty fire, book and a cup of tea kind of afternoon.

LaraG13 · 17/01/2016 14:53

feef that sounds really frustrating. DH is also extremely keen just to carry on as normal and not change anything in order to improve chances of conceiving. I think some men think it happens more easily and much quicker than it actually does for many. I keep getting the 'but people have had babies for centuries without needed to do anything special' argument. Maybe a few months down the line they might be more willing to make some changes, when they see it doesn't just happen overnight!

Snowdog37 · 17/01/2016 14:57

Lara I sometimes spot bright red the evening my period is meant to start. I'm usually drowning in the red tide of doom within hours of that first red warning. So this pink watery stuff is different. I don't usually cramp this early either. But there's nothing else to report and so I feel like my body just wants to have me experience both ends of the cray cray spectrum.

Laurenowls · 17/01/2016 15:17

Ladies well i am truly stumped!! Woke up to slightly sore boobs and had a little bleed last night am trying not to symptom spot!! Felt quite nauseous last night as well but that seems to have disappeared 😕😕

Chocaholic88 · 17/01/2016 15:18

lauren You can come and join me in the *wtf is actually going on here club if you like 😂😂

Laurenowls · 17/01/2016 15:33

choc think i'll have to 😆 honestly don't have a clue whats going on!! Boobs even feel bigger all yesterday and today so i think body is just playing mean tricks ha ha xxx

BelliniButterfly · 17/01/2016 15:36

Cycle 1
CD 17

I'm so impatient! This is only my first month of TTC and I told myself I would be patient and not get worked up 😂 Totally not happening lol.

I'm 3 days PO and will testing on the 28th January it can't come quick enough!

I guess I have a few concerns about my ability to conceive. I'm 33 will be 34 in April. My husband had an in descended testicle in childhood so worried about how that will affect his sperm quality. Lastly I still have about 3 stone to lose to be a healthy bmi. I have lost over 6 stone in the last year through healthy eating and exercise. Just hoping it's enough! 🙏🏻

Feefeefs · 17/01/2016 15:38

Thanks lara I'm having a bit of a grumpy January too as having lots of issues with my teeth. I think you are very right and it'll just take him a bit longer to realise he might have to put a bit of effort into it. He can be like that in general-it takes him a long time to come around to anything that means a change and I'm much more decisive.

It's also the anniversary of my mums death coming up this month and I'm finding it quite hard . It was a long time ago 12+ years but getting married last year and now TTC is making her absence very apparent!

Feefeefs · 17/01/2016 15:46

bellini the 6 stone down will really help just make sure now that you are TTC who are not too "gung-Ho" about your diet try to eat as balanced a diet as possible, you may need a higher dose of folic acid if BMI still high and will definitely need to be taking vitamin D.
