Hello there

Do you mind if I join in as am new to the ttc business.

I am endlesslove's sister and she said you were all very helpful in getting her through ttc and the stresses and strains of it all.

I hope to speak to you all soon and wishing you all baby dust!

Love Gem

af due tomorrow for me (at least i think it's 2morrow - after keeping check of dates i think i alternate with a 29 day cycle one month and the next month increasing a day each time. was 31, now 33 day cycle) . feel dead grumpy so not hopeful. not testing. will just wait n see. congrats to all the new year bfp's and good luck to the '007 hopefuls

WinniethePooh · 28/01/2007 14:58

I am still waiting to test, but not hopeful as I have been getting snappy which is usually a sign of AF on her way

cityangel · 28/01/2007 18:04

Belated congratulations to MrsMCJnr, Greedy and Greenblock. Amazing how many BFPs while I've been on holiday!
How exciting I am really happy for you all xxx

How is everyone else doing? Anyone left on Jan?
I usually have CD30 cycles but according to the CBFM didn't OV until CD28 and BFN on CD36 today.

I feel my cycles are going backwards rather than forwards its very frustrating. Still I have a new years resolution to be more chilled out and patient so here goes

Sorry I haven't caught up with all the news yet, but have quick questions...

Does anyone have any experience of increasingly longer cycles and inc. shorter luteul phases. Any advice would be great. Also is every doctor likely to turn you away if you've only been trying 6 months? Is there any way to get a referral before the 12 months point?

Thanks for all your support, missed you

StrangeTown · 28/01/2007 20:24

Just a quick hello to Gem.
I usually lurk on here, full of excellent advice, I'm sure you'll be at home in no time. Good Luck!

Well done to those with BFP - such great news.

Chooster · 28/01/2007 20:34

Hi Ready - its going well thanks! 15 weeks today so time is flying by! I'm sure we'll see you on the ante-natal boards pretty soon! Take care (sorry for the hijack )

babylove123 · 28/01/2007 20:38

Gem, welcome and best of luck to you hope it doesnt take you long to become pg!!!

Ammy, im still to test........

London, best of luck for Feb

City, i have plenty of experience for cycles going up the creek!!!!

I am 20, had period since 12. 8 yrs of perfect cycles, 31 days! Since TTC last July, i've managed to miss a whole period by not ovulating, had a 26 day cycle, a 33 day cycle and a 35! Its really messed me up!!!

I've spoken to doc when i was 6 months in ttc and he wont do anything till 1 yr. He said to "lose weight" etc, eat healthily, take folic acid (ive been taking sanatogen pronatal). He said to throw out any ovulation kits, dont think about what you're actually doing and have sex 3 times a week. That was it!!!!!

Hope this helps (altho its not the best answer!)

WinniethePooh · 29/01/2007 08:02

Morning everyone,

My AF is due today. No sign so far, or the migraine that usuall precedes her.

Hopefully she will stay away. I will test tomorrow or Wednesday if she still has not arrived.

Good luck to everyone still waiting to test.

sparklybits · 29/01/2007 08:20

morning too - good luck winnie & babylove

enough niggly af type pains to make me think i'm out. not testing as i have one month 29 days, alternating with a month 31/32 or 33 days (going up each time). maybe i have't figured out my pattern yet. & the signs are just too ambiguous.

fingers crossed though

s-b

Congratulations Greedy, MrsMcJunior, Greenblock and Fettle - I have been away for the weekend and am very excited to come back to such a lot of brilliant news

xxxxx

geekInPigtails · 29/01/2007 11:58

Morning all. Thanks for thinking of me lottie

Well I managed to resist testing all weekend, and was rewarded with AF starting in full force this morning

Feel really fed up with the whole thing tbh, can't even really think about what I'm going to do this next cycle - might ditch all the temping and MNet etc for a month - but that might just be grumpy AF talking.

Ready · 29/01/2007 12:01

Geek, sorry to hear that AF arrived. Bitch. I don't think I will be too far behind you.
((hugs))

dont worry geek - try and think of a reason why you don't want an october baby. mine is that i don't want my baby to be born on or around that time as it's someone yukky's birthday. silly reason but it'll help when af turns up today/2mrw this week in all her glory.

fettle · 29/01/2007 13:26

Geek, so sorry to hear AF has arrived

take care
x

greedyforbabies · 29/01/2007 13:42

sorry about af geek, and you too lottie. dont think i said that, sorry been a bit me me me recently!

goingfor3 · 29/01/2007 13:45

Londonlottie - this may help to show that even if you do everything right it's normal not to concieve every time. Fingers crossed for next month.

WinniethePooh · 29/01/2007 13:46

Geek, sorry to hear that AF has arrived.

No sign of mine yet, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

goingfor3 · 29/01/2007 13:48

geekInPigtails - sorry about AF arriving. On my last cycle which was my forst I was here everyday and looking for every sympton. This cycle I have decided to calm down a bit and I haven't posted very often as I find it makes fret more.
