...of course we're also cautiously over the moon (but not getting hopes up) Smile
(Just read my message again and sound really ungrateful Hmm)

Amelia1234 · 24/03/2016 08:53

That's fantastic. Fingers crossed. What's ur background? No cells? Can you get some steroids & progesterone?

billy15 · 24/03/2016 09:15

Thanks.
Background is 1st bfp mmc found at. 12 week scan baby stopped 8.1 weeks. - Nov 2013
2nd bfp mmc 10 weeks baby stopped 8.1 weeks. - Feb 2014
3rd chemical - Dec 2014
4th mmc 7 week scan - small gestational sac - Oct 2015
5th chemical- Nov 2015

Have high complex nk cells and thyroid antibodies and maybe pcos and endo.
Did SO this cycle but dr s said had 25mm cyst and 11mm folli that was too small so he said I prob wouldn't ov and not to have the intralipids. But because of the chemicals I'm meant to have pre ov intralipids. So feeling a bit unhopeful plus feel like my periods coming and had tiny bit of pink discharge this morn

billy15 · 24/03/2016 09:35

... I'm taking hydroxy and started metformin 2 weeks ago. And pred and cyclogest from positive. Plus the intralipids

billy15 · 24/03/2016 10:06

Did you ladies stop taking cq10 and wobenzym n with a positive? Mustn't panic! Shock

Amelia1234 · 24/03/2016 10:08

Oh best of luck. Keep us updated . Dr Gorgy would prob prescribe an IV drip instead of intralipids.

Tumtimes1 · 24/03/2016 13:35

Hey Billy whispering congrats! Did you manage to speak to Louise this morning?
Xx

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 24/03/2016 16:26

Yeah billy!!! A line is a line! And I understand from the other ladies that hydroxy has a cumulative effect so it might not be so bad you haven't had intralipids.

So many ladies on here getting good results now and loads of support and different experiences Smile

amelia I think dr Gorgy probably does the same as prof quenby who always prescribes clexane because it may have cytoprotective (think that's the word) qualities that help the little embryo in early pregnancy.

Can I have a moment to whinge, though I know I should be grateful? I'm so it itchy everywhere it's killing me! And I have thrush so even itchy down there Sad the consultant is monitoring me for the same thing that rosa had.
I called in sick today because I had less than four hours sleep last night. We call an automated number and HR are supposed to put it on our computerised roster system and email your line manager. I also texted my line manager as a courtesy and he replied and said no worries. He didn't tell me he wasn't actually in today and HR no longer bother putting it on the system so the managers are now pissed off because they get told off if I don't book on and no one realised until this afternoon. Don't really know what else I could do Angry

Amelia1234 · 24/03/2016 16:46

Oh that's great to hear snoopy re the clexane, thank you. Stabbing myself each morning will feel a little easier now!
FORGET about work and do not feel bad! If you need time off you need time off and you have to do all you can for your bubs! Never feel
Guilty when pregnant - there's a greater cause!
Hope you feel better.
Hope those lines get stronger billy, a line certainly is a line!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 24/03/2016 17:14

Yeah I might be wrong but drttc convinced dr s to prescribe her clexane when he wouldn't normally, just different theories I guess and it can't hurt.

Woohoo my mum just dropped off my thrush prescription, haha I'm so sad.

Seekingmiracles · 24/03/2016 19:24

Billy, whispering congratulations. I know it must be hard to know what to do but I think if I were you I'd still go away as planned and try to enjoy myself. Keep taking the drugs and hope for the best. Then get the intralipids booked asap. Did you manage to speak to Louise??

Snoopy sorry you're so itchy! Must be infuriating! Hope it's not what Rosa had.
And don't worry about work, you followed protocol as far as you could. If they don't pass on new procedures how are you supposed to know. Just forget about it. You're the important one. Hope you get a bit more sleep tonight.

Drttc · 24/03/2016 20:03

Billy- congrats! I think you should go on the hol. Why? Distraction! Being distracted is so needed at this early stage! I agree it's annoying you didn't do the intralipids but I'm assuming you've been on other imbue system suppressing meds? Good luck and try to relax as much as possible!

Yes- I was on clexane in an attempt to 'throw everything at it' because recurrent chemicals are so difficult to treat. Don't know if he'd do it again though...

Snoopy- so sorry to hear you're itchy & not getting sleep! I agree you can't worry about the work issue now especially as you've made no errors. You have enough on your plate! Try to rest up now... We know you'll have plenty of sleepless nights on maternity leave!

billy15 · 24/03/2016 20:16

Thanks ladies.
We came away. I spoke to Louise and she's booked me in for intralipids next weds. I'm not sure if they even had any app today and they closed all weekend.

I think this is very short lived again tho Sad Been having really bad cramps and aches, including my lower back, and just had more spotting that was a bit more pink! Feel like Im about to have a very painful period Sad.
I wonder if I should even take the cyclogest as don't want to stop it if it's gona happen (that's what I think happened the 4th time and I got to 7 weeks, was awful). Or maybe test again in morning if I don't start bleeding.
snoopy sorry you're feeling itchy - that's sound bad. I also would say sod work- doesn't sound like you could've done anything else.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 24/03/2016 20:27

Thanks everyone, I just hate work at the moment. They're constantly messing both DH and myself around. Tossers

Oh billy it's so hard to know what to do. So many women do have spotting and everything is fine but I 100% appreciate how scary it is and understand why you're worried about the cyclogest. I know you're probably not worried about it now but I did continue to take the wobenzyme after bfp and until quite recently when I made the decision I couldn't afford it anymore

billy15 · 24/03/2016 21:17

thanks snoopy. The spotting is very minimal atm but the pain and aches are really bad, so that's what worries me more. Just feels like I'm about to have a painful period. Only time will tell. I guess I'll take the cyclogest and test again either tomorrow or sat.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 25/03/2016 09:07

How are you feeling today billy?

billy15 · 25/03/2016 12:28

Not too bad atm thanks snoopy not as much cramping but a bit of spotting again. Doing a costal walk which is amazing and def good for my soul!
I hope your itching is better xx

billy15 · 26/03/2016 07:55

Well it's a bfn this morning!!Sad (well there's the faintest of lines that's barely visible)
I noticed last night that the first response tests are meant to be stored 18-25 degrees centigrade (says on packet). But mine have been in the freezing lou since we got to Cornwall! I'm wondering if this would have an effect but think I'm clutching at straws!!
So the question is do I take the meds today? Why's there always a grey area?!

Drttc · 26/03/2016 08:16

Hi Billy- so sorry it looks so faint today :( We tend to say to stick to your meds until you're 100% sure about what's going on. Let's see what tomorrow brings? It's such a crap situation & I know it well. Wish I could give you a hug. Xx

billy15 · 26/03/2016 08:25

Thanks drttc I think I'll stick to meds except cyclogest as don't wanna delay things and mess my cycle. I've got some more tests at home so will try again on mon. But think my instincts about th pain were right.

*(Meant loo not lou obvs Blush)

Seekingmiracles · 26/03/2016 11:32

I'm sorry billy, it so unfair Sad. I'd carry on the drugs until I was sure too. This journey through rmc really is an absolute shitter! I hope you manage to enjoy your few days away... I think I might be tempted by a glass of wine if I were in your shoes... Sod it! X

Every single person on this thread has had to deal with far more than any person deserves, so unfair.

Tumtimes1 · 26/03/2016 15:16

Hi Billy just wanted to echo the others sentiments on here. I think though still stick to meds (agree except progesterone) until 100 percent sure. Sending you strength X

Lisachick1 · 26/03/2016 15:20

Oh Billy so sorry - I too would carry on drugs until sure...

Snoopy I had a crazy itching rash - it came when I weaned off the steroids and was an allergy to progesterone in the end. Have you got lumpy rash that looks like you've been stung by nettles?

I was sleeping so badly that I got up at 4am once just for a cold bath xx

annaif · 26/03/2016 15:43

Hi everyone, just catching up with the latest responses to the thread.
Billy, it's rubbish that the line is fainter today, I can only imagine how disappointing this is. But stick with the meds and I agree about the cyclogest (better safe than sorry )

Hope that the bean does indeed stick though and will be waiting to hear the latest news xx

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 26/03/2016 18:06

Oh billy so sorry, it's the worst weekend for this to happen as well. I agree with all the advice above. Keep going, we're here for you x

Hi lisa, the weird thing is there's no rash or raised area at all. I could understand if it was the bump because it could be stretching skin but it's everywhere. Thank goodness it's not as bad as what you endured though. How are you feeling now?
