As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

Oh Blush got your old post mixed up where you had cramping....glad to hear you're not feeling rubbish at all!

No problem Ella SmileI have had a dodgy tummy since increasing the Menopur dose near the end and then taking the trigger shot, but nothing awful. It's not good having a gurgling stomach at work though as I attend lots of meetings - have had to do lots of carefully timed paper shuffling!! Blush

YouBoggleMyMind · 10/12/2015 09:51

Morning lovely ladies, an update!

AF showed her face last night so counting today as CD1, Clomid cycle 2, 100mg. I have a scan booked on CD14 (23rd Dec). Please can we cross all fingers and toes? I'm so desperate for this cycle to work!

Sorry the medication if giving you a dippy tummy Moomin I hope it eases soon.

Ella I'll be thinking of you on the 15th!

Thanks ladies, for being my support. It means so much. xxx

EllaMenoPea · 10/12/2015 19:26

Yep onwards and upwards Boggle and here's to Christmas baby making GrinWine

I have such a bloated stomach and getting more CM than I have for a long time...

YouBoggleMyMind · 11/12/2015 10:04

I told DH that I needed his finest sperm haha! I really really hope the Clomid actually does something this time! Positive and festive thoughts all around! We're staying at my parents Christmas Eve, Christmas Night and then at MIL's on Boxing day. Going to have to be VERY quite when DTD!

CM is a good sign Moomin?

EllaMenoPea · 12/12/2015 10:12

Yay to CM moomin!

Oh boggle what timing! Grin

BOO for AF! Go away! I feel crappy today :(

Moomin37 · 15/12/2015 06:21

Well yesterday I thought I'd do two tests, one of which was a FRER, just to see if I could get clear negatives so I knew all the HCG trigger shot was out of my body. I was pleased when there was not sign of a line on either, not even a squinter. However, I started spotting late yesterday afternoon and went to the loo in the middle of the night to find that the painters have arrived and it's pouring out (sorry). Given that my husband hasn't even asked for an update this morning I guess I should count myself lucky as he obviously doesn't care about whether I'm pregnant or not. Need to ring the clinic to tell them and think this could be the end of the road, unless he can convince me that he does want kids. Hope you are both well.

YouBoggleMyMind · 15/12/2015 09:57

Oh Moomin i'm really sorry :(

Have you spoken to DH about it? I'm sure he does care and is finding as overwhelming as you. What are next steps for you so you can continue your baby journey? Lots of hugs xxxx

Moomin37 · 15/12/2015 12:41

Thanks Boggle. I did speak to DH who said he was upset, but he wasn't giving that impression hence my comment earlier. I have spoken to the clinic and have an appointment to plan the next round of stabbing in January. Right now I just can't see the point, but then I'm full of hormones and not really thinking straight. It doesn't hep that I've just looked at FB and it's full of people going on about their children or posting sayings about being mothers, as usual. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't recall either parent ever coming to watch a nativity play, but that seems to be all anyone can talk about right now! Sorry I'll shut up as just being miserable and moany now. Thanks again for your reply :)

YouBoggleMyMind · 15/12/2015 13:23

Hi again, i'm really glad you spoke to your DH. Important to share thoughts and feelings at this really difficult time. I've spent the entire morning moaning to my DH that we are always unlucky and how it's not fair. I must just sound like a broken record.

Try and look toward a lovely Christmas with your DH and then we can kick 2016's butt with happy baby news!

Moomin37 · 15/12/2015 18:20

Aww Boggle thanks Smile So glad we turned down an invite on Xmas day and will be home together free to do whatever we fancy. You're certainly going to have an Xmas to remember with all that sneezing about Blush

EllaMenoPea · 15/12/2015 19:34

Oh moomin I'm so sorry Thanks

DH can be a bit rubbish when it comes to all this too sometimes. I think he's just terrified of saying the wrong thing. Doesn't help that I'm so hormonal I suppose and the woman has to go though 99% of the treatments.

Anyway, I'm glad you spoke and are thinking about trying again in the new year.

BFN for me today but no period. I'd say I didn't ov but the period pains have really thrown me!

YouBoggleMyMind · 16/12/2015 09:23

So I have question. I think it's prolly silly but I figured you lovely ladies would be ok with that! As i'm using Clomid, does that make my cycle a standard 28 days? In which case, what are the days that I need to be DTD? I don't want to have to DTD every other day for 3 weeks or whatever but at the same time, I don't want to miss anything! I am so scared that the Clomid isn't going to work. I wish there was some way of knowing before the scan!!

Moomin37 · 16/12/2015 20:43

Thanks Ella and sorry about BFN Thanks

Boggle what are your cycles like normally? When I came off the pill it to 381 days for AF to arrive. I then took Clomid and they arrived again just 27 days later! So I would take from that you can expect about a 28 day cycle, but I know naff all about timing DTD I'm afraid.

EllaMenoPea · 16/12/2015 21:40

What day does your scan fall on boggle?

I've never had regular cycles but on Clomid I seem to ov around day 18 and then a BFP or AF has arrived 2 weeks later making it a 36 day cycle Confused

I would go and get some ov tests and start testing from day 9.

How you feeling moomin?

And eskimo if you're there?

Xx

Moomin37 · 16/12/2015 21:47

I'm OK thanks Ella :) It's strange having a proper AF and hormones all over the place - forgotten that crazed lunatic angry sad woman feeling! My poor colleagues...

YouBoggleMyMind · 17/12/2015 09:36

Before Clomid, cycle was at over a year with no AF. I then took Provera for AF to come. After the first round of Clomid not working, I took Provera again but not until later as I was away. My scan showed that my follicles hadn't done anything so I don't think I did ovulate.

I have some cheap OPKs at home so i'll start those tomorrow from day 9. I think it's going to be a do it every other day jobby for a couple of weeks and hope that that is sufficient! Scan is 23rd Ella. I'm feeling nervous and not positive about it. I'm so scared it won't have worked.

How are you all feeling? xxx

eskimoflo · 18/12/2015 14:39

Ella You called? Grin

I'm fine thank you. Have been keeping a low profile as I can't seem to find any enthusiasm for TTC lately. Have been to the hospital for CD21 bloods today, but not holding out hope for ovulation or being upduffed. We DTD on CD11, CD12, CD15 and CD17 this time round, so probably not enough even if the clomid worked this time. It's so difficult not knowing what my body is doing or what it's going to do. Haven't peed on any sticks at all and am rubbish at temping! I have a consultant's appointment coming up in January, so will see what they say.

Ella Has AF arrived yet? Sorry for BFN Flowers

Moomin Sorry to hear that you and your DH have been having a bit of a rough time. Hopefully, a quiet Christmas together will allow you both to have some quality time together. Flowers

Boggle Good luck with the scan and the OPKs! FX the clomid will have worked this time.

Xmas Smile
YouBoggleMyMind · 18/12/2015 15:07

Thanks Eskimo fingers crossed for you too xxx

EllaMenoPea · 18/12/2015 19:46

Hi eskimo!

When do you get the blood test results? Fx you did ov. Sounds like you DTD on the right days and it only takes once so don't give up hope yet!

Still no AF Confused been feeling like it's going to happen all week though. Sigh!

eskimoflo · 19/12/2015 14:09

Ella Usually, it's a couple of days after I've had the test, but I asked two of the Nurses, who didn't seem to know and they said mid-January, which I doubt! They said that they normally take a couple of weeks (which they don't!) and that the clinic is closing on 23rd, so it would be mid-January now... I'm going to call up on Tuesday and see if they're in. I don't think they'll leave it until January to get the results back; at least, I hope not! x x

YouBoggleMyMind · 22/12/2015 09:54

Scan day tomorrow. Feeling VERY nervous. I'm not sure I can cope with them saying my ovaries haven't done anything again!
