EllaMenoPea · 06/10/2015 09:42

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

YouBoggleMyMind · 02/12/2015 15:58

Maybe it'll creep up on you with no symptoms at all!

No, nothing my end. Just a bit coldy :(

Moomin37 · 02/12/2015 17:28

Evening both :)

Today is the day I take my trigger shot and then test in 16 days time if AF doesn't arrive before then. Oh and remember to DTD. Lots. Kind of nervous as this feels like the first month ever, since we started TTC in July 2013, that we actually stand a chance of getting a BFP. I think test day is the morning after works Xmas party...

EllaMenoPea · 02/12/2015 18:08

Eeee moomin!! How exciting! Keep us updated and best of luck! I have everything crossed for you!

Moomin37 · 02/12/2015 18:21

Thanks Ella same to you - when is test day?

EllaMenoPea · 02/12/2015 19:05

I actually have no idea! I'm not sure if I ov'd so I'm just going to give it a week or so then call the clinic for some Provera! sigh

Hi ladies, I've been lurking, but feeling really despondent of late, so struggled to post. I feel like I'm in a complete fog with everything and it all seems to bloody futile. I'm just so utterly, completely, gut-wrenchingly fed up of all the WAITING around. In a whole year, we've only had 1 chance to actually conceive. 1. Shock

I am currently on day 4 of 150mgs of clomid. As far as I'm concerned, it has a 50/50 chance of working, having worked the first time and then not the second, so this will be my third round of 150mg. < sigh>

I know that you will all understand; I'm so sorry to rant!

Moomin Good luck with the trigger shot and all the DTD!

Ella Hope you're ok and you get the Provera started ASAP.

Boggle Hope you feel better soon Flowers

Full of Christmas cheer aren't I? Xmas Sad

EllaMenoPea · 02/12/2015 21:18

I was hoping you were OK and around eskimo

I'm so sorry you're feeling so down.

Do you have scans booked in?

I have no words of wisdom other than sympathy that it's so shit sometimes and I am rooting for us all so much!

OP posts:
eskimoflo · 02/12/2015 23:02

God, I really hope that we all have some good luck in 2016! (Or before!) I have no scans or anything booked in apart from CD21 bloods on the 18th December, but I do know that I'm due a follow-up appointment in January with the consultant. I wanted to get one more round of clomid in before then, so I started the prog. pills early.

Clinging on til then! x x

YouBoggleMyMind · 03/12/2015 11:02

Hugs eskimoflo we're all in this together and 2016 will be our year!

Ella are you going to test before requesting to Provera? You never know!

Moomin best of luck, my the sperm and egg be ever in your favour!

Do you ladies have lovely Christmas plans? xxx

EllaMenoPea · 03/12/2015 12:51

Yeah I'm thinking I'll test on the 20th then request the Provera but probably won't take until January now.

We're just planning a quiet Christmas, can't wait!!

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 06/12/2015 20:37

Our Christmas plans are still TBC... Going to see the in laws before Christmas and current plan is for the three of us (DH and cat) to stay at home. We would be happy to host my family but who wants to spend Xmas day with a childless couple? Sad Just offered to host my mum and she's blatantly hanging out for an invite from my brother who has a LO. Oh well, perhaps there will be four of us round the Christmas tree next year...

Been feeling very tired since the trigger shot (Ovitrelle) and had stomach cramps. Other than that, nothing to report. Work is so busy (but I do love my job) that the next two weeks will fly by and then we'll know where we stand. I said to DH yesterday that I don't feel hopeful, but let's see what happens.

I don't know what I'd do without this thread as we haven't told anyone in real life - I'm not one for telling people things and this seems so personal. So thank you lovely ladies for your support Smile

Eskimo I'm sorry you're feeling so down and hope you start to feel better soon Thanks

Moomin37 · 06/12/2015 20:39

PS Has AF arrived yet Boggle?

YouBoggleMyMind · 07/12/2015 09:33

Aww Moomin I want to give you a cuddles. I really hope there are 4 of you around your tree next year too! It is really hard to stay positive when it's felt like forever but I have everything crossed for you.

AF is hinting she's on her way but no tradish symptoms for me yet. I usually get really achey and heavy but only (TMI) brownish discharge so far. She best be here soon as it's been 7 days since I finished Provera!

EllaMenoPea · 08/12/2015 16:53

How are you feeling moomin? Is it only 9 days till test day now? Eeee.

Has AF showed up yet boggle?

Any news eskimo?

Xxx

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 09/12/2015 08:55

No AF yet. Starting to think that my scan date is going to fall right on Christmas meaning I won't be able to have it! I really just want to get on with Clomid round 2 now. xxx

EllaMenoPea · 09/12/2015 09:59

With DD I had a scan on xmas Eve and one on Boxing Day (and conceived on Boxing Day!) so don't worry if it does fall then. Maybe it's lucky!

OP posts:
EllaMenoPea · 09/12/2015 10:11

Actually, just remembered, it was Christmas Eve and the day after Boxing Day but conception was Boxing Day. So still not a huge deal if it does fall then and you're tracking Xx

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 09/12/2015 10:51

I am starting to wonder if Provera has worked. Even the brownish discharge seems to have disappeared. What happens if it doesn't work? How long do I wait? I've heard it can take like 2 weeks.

EllaMenoPea · 09/12/2015 11:04

Just looking back to the beginning of this thread and someone said 14 days. If it took 7 last time and you've had brown discharge I'd give your GP a call and see what they say.

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 09/12/2015 12:03

I don't have a GP as i've just moved surgeries. The Dr who did us the referral to the FU is from my old surgery. I'll see what happens and maybe give the FU a call instead.

Moomin37 · 09/12/2015 18:46

Evening All Smile

When I last took Provera I only had a light one day bleed, although it was red. The fertility nurse said this was probably to be expected as I probably only had a very thin lining. Not sure if that helps? When I Googled Provera I found it referred to as the 'progesterone withdrawal test' as women will not automatically bleed afterwards.
(If you bleed it means one thing and if you don't it means another). Hope you can access a GO soon Boggle.

No news this end really Ella I feel fine. Then again it's only been a week since the trigger shot. Test day will come round soon enough. How are you?

EllaMenoPea · 09/12/2015 20:03

I'm ok, haven't tested yet. Holding out for AF to show by Tuesday then I'll test/call the clinic!

My AF was much, much lighter on Provera so that makes sense!

Hope you're not feeling too rubbish moomin xx
