When to expect period - Provera

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

Hi Ella Sorry to hear about you BFN. Defo try again on Thursday or Friday. Do you feel like AF might come?

Moomin I'm off to Centre Parcs with my family on the 16th which is also my DH's 30th Birthday. I am throwing him a surprise party on the 14th so right in the middle of planning that too! We've then got dinner out with DH's Family on the 22nd to celebrate our birthdays. Mine is on the 20th.

Moomin37 · 03/11/2015 18:39

Sorry about the BFN Ella but it was quite early? Fingers crossed for a different result next time Thanks

Gosh Boggle that sounds like a lot of planning and organising, but I'm sure it will pay off and your DH will be very pleased SmileA lovely relaxing time at CP is just what you need - make sure you book into the spa!

No news from me - first trip back to the gym since my lap and dye in July - I am writing this on the cross trainer! Loving being back, but it's going to hurt tomorrow...

YouBoggleMyMind · 04/11/2015 09:38

Yes, a busy few weeks coming up and then all downhill to Christmas! I'm hoping we get a little Christmas luck and sparkle! Take it easy at the gym Moomin!

How are you feeling Ella? xxx

EllaMenoPea · 04/11/2015 15:37

I'm feeling OK, not feeling pregnant or like AF is coming either, trying to hold out from testing again until Friday.

How was the lap and dye for you moomin, I found the gas pain awful!

Lots of lovely things to keep you occupied boggle Smile I think I need to organise some things too, TTC is taking up too much of my head space!

In a word Ella the lap and dye and hysteroscopy was painful! I had a few bouts of gas pain, but really suffered with the wounds as they were rather sore. Also the general anaesthetic knocked me for six!

Saying that (if anyone is reading who is booked in for one and getting worried) overall it wasn't that bad and it's reassuring to know that someone has given your insides a once over. Oh and you get to see pictures of your ovaries afterwards!

Strange you don't have any symptoms... our bodies are strange (but amazing) things!

EllaMenoPea · 05/11/2015 08:13

Oh yes, I second that it's not THAT bad, I was just a bit wimpy with the gas pain.

I was lucky that my wounds were no bother.

Think I'll test again tomorrow then be asking for more Provera. Sigh.

I have to say, i'm grateful to be this busy at the moment. It does help. This weekend i'm having a massage and a facial and then getting my hair cut. I'm then off to a Hen Do. Spending Sunday with my Sister doing some shopping ready for Christmas!

Moomin37 · 06/11/2015 18:27

Any news Ella?

EllaMenoPea · 06/11/2015 19:24

Think AF is on her way Sad

Fingers crossed for next month!

Moomin37 · 06/11/2015 19:28

Oh Ella I'm sorry Thanks We'll continue this tough journey together.

EllaMenoPea · 07/11/2015 07:35

Thank you moomin I had a little cry last night but can be more positive this morning.

I'm thinking if AF arrived exactly 14 days after I showed ovulation I possibly did actually ovulate?

And it means I can take clomid again tomorrow.

How's everyone else?

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 09/11/2015 09:17

So have you taken another test Ella? xxx

EllaMenoPea · 09/11/2015 13:57

AF's here so no need!

Have you boggle?

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 09/11/2015 14:23

Aww sorry Ella that's rubbish.

No i've not tested. Won't until i'm back from being away and then will start Provera again. Xxx

Moomin37 · 09/11/2015 20:43

Sorry to hear that Ella Sad

EllaMenoPea · 10/11/2015 11:35

Thanks you two.

On day 3 of Clomid again but no scans this time.

What's going on with everyone else's ovaries?!

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 10/11/2015 17:02

Nothing ovary exciting ova here! :D

Moomin37 · 10/11/2015 18:52

Lol Boggle

It's CD27 here and not much news... My right nipple was a bit sore in the shower this morning Confused

Ovary and out.

eskimoflo · 10/11/2015 19:19

Hello lovely ladies.

Ella I'm sorry for AF, but you can take from it some positives that the clomid is working. Flowers Flowers

Boggle When do you go away/ come back. FX for you.

Moomin I am jealous of your motivation. I really do need to become more active Hmm

I got my latest cd21 results back yesterday and was gutted to find out that I didn't ovulate this time round. It's strange that 150mg of clomid worked the first time, but didn't do anything on the second. So I'm feeling very glum about everything and am still licking my wounds. The secretary is going to speak to the consultant about next steps. She says that I was due an appointment in January anyway, so the consultant may decide to bring that forward a little bit or suggest another round of clomid at 150mg. I think she is going to call me back tomorrow. It's all so shit isn't it? Sad Sad Sad

eskimoflo · 10/11/2015 19:20

Just realised I didn't make an ovary joke. Ovary well, I'll try and think of one...

EllaMenoPea · 10/11/2015 19:27

Oh sorry eskimo Thanks

That's really strange, they have always seemed to 'sell' it as "if it works once it will keep working"?? Hopefully an appointment can give you some answers. I'm not having a blood test or scan as they've assumed it will just work again Confused

Oh moomin do you have a test day?!

Trying not to ovary think the puns....

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 10/11/2015 20:14

Oh Eskimo that is rubbish SadIs is worth asking them if you can try injectables?

I'm only taking it easy at the gym - my condition is caused by an energy deficit (too few calories in, too many burnt) so I can't go mad. That's another annoying thing about Facebook - if my newsfeed isn't stuffed full of baby pictures, it's people boasting about how much exercise they're doing aaargh!

Moomin37 · 10/11/2015 20:16

Yes Ella test day is Friday and then ring the clinic to see what we do next. The Menopur is in the back of the fridge, I hope!

I'm not ovary keen about the injections, but I guess I'll have to just get ova it Wink

YouBoggleMyMind · 11/11/2015 09:59

I have to say ladies, i'm super impressed with all your ovary puns! I think they're eggcellent! Grin

I go away on Monday 16th (DH's birthday) and back Friday 20th (my birthday) then out for more birthday celebrations over the weekend so will test on Sunday and start Provera again on Monday. We're looking at end of December for BFP on cycle 2. We have NYE with friends who are also going through infertility and beginning IVF in January so if I am pregnant, I know I can tell them and they'll understand as they know what we're going through.

Xxx
