As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

Oh Ella I'm so sorry ThanksI had a horrible feeling that was the case but didn't want to rush in requesting an update. Your colleague can fuck right off - I just cannot imagine what makes people like that think it's OK to ask such questions, not to mention being oblivious of the hurt and anger it causes Angry

I understand the temptation but I'm not sure I'd go there. From what I recall Clomid should only be used for 6 months and after that it doesn't work as well and can have a negative effect on the body. Therefore you might be better sticking to taking it when under medical supervision to make sure you maximise the potential benefit of your six tries. But hey, I could be completely wrong and it's entirely up to you Smile

Have you ever tried soy isoflavines (spelling?) - meant to be natures Clomid and there are lots of positive stories. I bought some but have never tried it as I don't have cycles so can't time it correctly and get the dosage right. Might be worth looking into this?

Having a day out today and dinner at friends then it's home for trigger and DTD. Take care of yourself and good luck for your DH X.

eskimoflo · 07/02/2016 11:43

Hi all, I do hope it's ok to pop my head in and say that everything is so far going well for me? I had a scare earlier in the week with some bright red drops of blood on Thursday night, so called the EPAU and they gave me a scan yesterday, which showed that everything was fine. They are dating me as 9 weeks today and I have an EDD of September 11th. Hope it's ok to post a pic (although it's more 'blob' than 'baby' at the moment!

Ella I'm so sorry for AF Flowers I think Moomin is probably right about the clomid, though I can totally understand the temptation. But the arrival of AF shows ovulation, so that's a positive. Do you see the consultant for 'next steps' now? Good luck for your DH's SA.

Moomin Sorry you've been feeling so rough. Good luck with the trigger shot. Get that sperm in!

Boggle How are you doing? Did you have a scan in the end?

Still cheering you all on. Don't lose hope- it could happen when you least expect it! x x x

EllaMenoPea · 07/02/2016 11:43

Thanks moomin I'm surprisingly OK.

I think I knew it wasn't going to happen this round so it didn't feel as bad as the first round when I'd convinced myself I was pg.

I haven't taken the old Clomid....I'm too much of a wuss!

Ohhhh good luck!! I hope so much this is your round! Xx

Hi eskimo sorry I X-posted with you!

I had a bleed with DD and everything was fine, so scary though. I'm so glad all is well and you got to see him or her!

Please keep popping in!

How you doing boggle?

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 07/02/2016 11:54

Ahh Eskimo it's so fab to see your scan pic GrinSo glad to hear all is OK after what must have been a very scary time. Are you feeling OK? Please do keep popping back otherwise I'll be forced to stalk you on the pregnancy boards Wink

eskimoflo · 07/02/2016 12:17

Awww, thank you lovelies Grin I'm feeling ok, apart from having the worst cold and cough ever! Have been off work 3 days this week because it's hit me hard! Seem to be over the morning sickness- haven't had that for a week now.

I will keep popping back and cheering you all on. I just know we will get some good news from you all soon! It's a tough, tough journey but every pill, test and scan takes you closer to your baby! x x

Moomin37 · 08/02/2016 06:21

Thanks Eskimo Smile Glad to hear the sickness has been and gone.

Well I'm officially on the TWW and it feels good! I know people hate it, but when you've been TTC for 18 months and only ever had two other TWWs then frankly it's a huge achievement and something to savour - I'm actually in with a chance of being pregnant Smile

Boggle hope you're OK?

EllaMenoPea · 08/02/2016 07:24

Wahoo moomin. I really am wishing this is your cycle.

Good luck Smile

Hi Ladies,

Back from a good week in Center Parcs. Took my last lot of Clomid last night so now it's just a waiting game. I've got a scan on Monday 15th Feb which would be day 14 for me. I'm not holding out much hope. I don't really know where we go from here if it's not successful. Thanks for the "blob" scan eskimo. Pleased that everything is ok after your scare.

Fingers crossed Moomin!!

Sorry that AF turned up Ella

Xxx

YouBoggleMyMind · 11/02/2016 17:32

Moomin how's your TWW going?

Today is CD10 so DTD every other day officially commences tonight. Scared for my scan on Monday. I'm so frightened it won't work.

Ella Has your DH had his SA yet?

Moomin37 · 12/02/2016 06:27

Hey Boggle Smile the TWW+2 Days is going fine thanks. I am on progesterone pessaries AKA fanjo bullets which are a laugh a minute - I've got tres waxy lady bits NICE! Confused

Try not to worry about the scan (I know, easier said than done) and keep going with the EOD Smile Remember our lovely Eskimo got upduffed the month her tests didn't show great results.

EllaMenoPea · 12/02/2016 07:03

Hi guys.

How you feeling moomin?

boogle I have everything crossed for you for Monday, like Moomin said even if the scan results aren't great it doesn't mean you're out.

DH had his SA yesterday, just waiting for results....have your DH's had it? How long did they take to come back?

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 12/02/2016 09:48

OMG Fanjo bullets... Grin you poor thing.. What are the pessaries supposed to do? When will you test Moomin?

God I really hope this is the month. I am clinging on to our Eskimo's story for inspiration.

my DH had his results back within a week but we didn't actually receive the results for a couple of weeks as it was nigh impossible to get an appointment with my Dr. I suspect you'll be able to get them next week Ella. xxx

EllaMenoPea · 12/02/2016 10:22

Thanks boggle X

Sorry moomin I wasn't ignoring your plight it was just a bit early to be thinking about fanjo bullets....good luck with that Grin

Moomin37 · 12/02/2016 20:58

Wow that was quick Ella Smile - great news!

They are progesterone pessaries Boggle - I think they are always used for women undergoing IVF and seem to be required for ovulation induction too (although they forgot to give them to me last time). I am tired and starving hungry most of the time, and having some ovary type pains. I will test on the day they told me (23rd), but may consider an early test to check I can get a BFN (to make sure all the HCG trigger shot is out my system). It's such a pain that work has gone quiet (I shouldn't complain as I usually work silly hours) as that means the time is now dragging Sad but looking on the bright side it means I'm not stressed and exhausted.

EllaMenoPea · 12/02/2016 21:30

I guess it's the only bonus to paying for private!

Tired and hungry both sound really promising.

Helpful they forgot them last time Confused hopefully this means a more (much more) positive outcome for you.

Have you got anything nice booked in to keep you going over the next week and a bit?

OP posts:
Moomin37 · 14/02/2016 11:35

Nothing nice planned Ella as not long had a holiday. Just bracing myself for all the half-term family fun type pictures in Facebook.

The tiredness and hunger is nothing to get excited about... just side effects from the Cyclogest, to which I can now add low mood and sore boons. Feel so bloody miserable about everything and nothing and can't seem to snap out of it - need someone to give me a slap! DH is lovely and keeps giving me hugs.

Must get out the house into the sunshine. Oh and eat some cake Smile

Sorry to be on such a bad'un and hope everyone else is feeling much more cheerful.

EllaMenoPea · 15/02/2016 08:56

Moan away moomin Thanks

Hope this week goes quickly for you X

YouBoggleMyMind · 16/02/2016 08:42

Good morning ladies, I hope you're all well.

Scan yesterday on CD14 did show 1 follicle at 11mm but the scan nurse told me it wasn't big enough for CD14 to mean it's worked. I have to go back for another scan next Monday to see if anything has changed. Not holding out much hope. I have been prescribed Metformin going forward and another cycle of Clomid at 150mg. The scan nurse was surprised i'd not been offered Metformin to start with. Bit annoying really. IVF was bought up as i'm to see how this 4th cycle goes with Metformin and then either continue for the other 2 i'm entitled to or apply for IVF via the NHS.

Feeling rock bottom about it all. I also hate my job but am kinda stuck. Think I need to do something about it straight away as I can't cope like this.

EllaMenoPea · 16/02/2016 20:07

boggle I'm so sorry Thanks if it continues you would only ov on day 17/18. I really, really hope Monday brings better news.

How does Metformin work?

I've been prescribed 3 more months of 50mg which is a bit frustrating but I can see why.

How are you moomin?

And eskimo if you're out there Grin

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 17/02/2016 09:08

So frustrating! I hope Monday brings better news too.
Metformin is usually given for managing type 2 diabetes. Supposedly it manages insulin levels and makes my ovaries more accepting of the clomid? 4th time's a charm!

Yes, how are the rest of you? xxx

Moomin37 · 20/02/2016 09:33

Hello Smile I'm sorry for my absence, but the last two weeks have been very difficult. The Cyclogest (progesterone pessaries) have made me feel extremely tired and fuzzy, not to mention utterly miserable. I turned a corner on Thursday night and began to feel more myself, but I'm now getting anxious about test day on Tuesday, so barely slept last night. Now grumpy and fed up again.

Fingers crossed for your follie having a growth spurt Boggle Smile And Ella if I were you I'd just take 150 Clomid all in one round and just pretend you misunderstood them Wink

Right I'm off to do some baking. Have a meal and trip to pub with friends booked on Sunday, so looking forward to that. Hope you've all got nice things planned Smile

EllaMenoPea · 21/02/2016 16:57

Haha I'm desperate for another but I'm a bit worried 150mg would give me 6! As far as tests and scans can tell 50mg is making me ovulate and DH's SA was fine....I don't know why it's not happening Confused

How you feeling moomin? Not long to go now?

And you boggle? What time is your scan?

X
