When to expect period - Provera

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient

I'm waiting to take Provera to start the last cycle. I'm away again the 1st week of Feb and can't risk not being able to go to any scans I need so i'll start it the week before I go. Fingers crossed this is the one that actually does something!! xxx

Hi Ladies, the thread has been quiet for a while so I thought i'd give you an update. I'll be starting a new round of Provera tomorrow as AF hasn't turned up on her own. Heading to Centre Parcs again on 1st Feb for a week with friends so had to time it with scans and knowing i'd be back. Last try of Clomid on 150mg before having to reassess the situation. Not holding my breath.

Hello both :) I was holding off until I had an update. Should start second round of stabbing on Friday (have scan and blood test tomorrow).

Hard to predict when the scans will be as Provera has taken over a week for AF to actually show up so i'm going with 2nd week of Feb I think. Fingers crossed to you both! Lets rock 2016!

Had news at the weekend that my DH's Step Brother and his Wife are expecting a baby in August. MIL tried to FaceTime us both to tell but we didn't see so she sent ME a message instead, not DH but ME. I'm so glad we didn't answer her FaceTime call, I would have burst into tears.
They only got married in April last year. I also didn't think they'd have children just yet. Not that any of this matters. Just knocked me sideways as I really wasn't expecting it and it has made me feel crappy all weekend. xxx

Boggle, i totally get your pain.

This happened to me a few years ago..... (as we've been TTC for around 5 years) my SIL announced a pregnancy to the family and she had only been dating this bloke for a few weeks. I was gutted, i couldn't even be happy for her it was awful.

I think the worst thing is how my MIL delivered the news. First of all, we hardly see my DH's Step Brother and Wife, like twice a year maybe. Secondly, why is there a need to FaceTime us to give us the news? Just a message would suffice, or even tell us in person this weekend when we're over! Also, why message just me? It would make more sense to message my DH so he can pass on the news, or message us both.
I am dreading going to my MIL's this weekend now, all she'll do is talk about it constantly.

All my MIL has done since we got married 18+ months ago, and longer I haste to add is sneakily mention to me 'when are you having kids' or 'when (DH chosen child's name) is comes along blah blah blah. Obviously she doesn't know about our troubles, and it just pisses me off.

There are twins that run in the family &she sometimes mentions that too...... 'when you've got the twins in toe.....' little does she know the problems we're going through! I'm finding it difficult to get pregnant with one baby. Let alone 2!

I'm 29 (30 this year) been TTC for around 5 years. We've had tests and I had lap and dye around 2 years ago. We where offered clomid 2 years ago but our financial prospects and life wasn't ready for a child and all the stresses of the clomid so we left it. I finished uni & walked into a job (which wouldn't have happened if we'd have continued with clomid.

2 years later, we're now fanatically much better off, we've got married and have our own house (rather than rented). Been back to the consultant & she wants repeat SA from husband and a repeat ultrasound of me (which coincidentally is today) we've got our clomid appointment for 29th February.

I remember when my friend announced her third 'surprise, we weren't even trying' pregnancy.

It's so hard, especially because I then felt guilty for just wanting to cry.

How did the scan go? I am a little ahead of you on my 3rd round of Clomid. This will be my last go before having to discuss next steps. 50 and 100mg made no difference so i'm really not holding out much hope for 150mg. xxx

My scan is only at 19:20 tonight! strange time i know! xx I think that it's a separate surgery away from all the pregnant women xx

Hey Boggle hope the Clomid is going well - are you having scans or a blood test? Sorry to hear about your MiL - I think baby news does something strange to parents (i.e. it means everything else in the world and the universe goes out the window and they become obsessed). My brother has always been the favourite and me the disappointment, much more so now he has produced (albeit via IVF so I feel for them) a grandchild. Ah well, lucky 2016 is our year, or at least I had better be

Hello Amy hope you got some good news.

AFM I think I'm on day 8 of Menopur and the next scan and blood test is Friday. Lining about 4mm, one 11mm on right and 9mm on left, so it's early days. I think I stabbed for about 18/19 days last time, so still a while to go yet. Need to plan some time for DTD!

Hey moomin glad you're doing OK and are back on it. How are you feeling? That size already sounds promising. I have everything crossed for you.

I think test day is Monday. I'm 99% sure I'm not pregnant, weirdly my boons hurt almost straight away after ov which has never happened before, even when I was pg so I think it's just my hormones going haywire.

Hi Ladies, i'm really sorry Ella I didn't see your message in between mine and Amy's. Any news on your scan Amy?

I am waiting for AF to show up after last round of Provera. I suspect she'll arrive some time next week while i'm away. No blood test unless it looks like i've got juicy follicles ready to ovulate in which case I need to do a "day 21" blood test. I'll have a scan at some point between days 11-14. Really not feeling hopeful.

Having thought about it a bit more, DH's SB's DW can't be more than about 8 weeks in which case, how did they get a specific date of 5th August as their due date? Makes me wonder if there's more to it than I know?

AFM I'm on day 11 of injections and the dosage has been increased, so now have an upset stomach like last time grrrrrreat I'm also feeling VERY grumpy and irritable, which I don't remember last time - poor DH! Back for scan tomorrow to see how I'm doing - I may trigger this week.

I'm on day 16 of Menopur injections and have one day left and then it's HCG trigger time on Sunday. Have felt quite rotten this time round, until the last 24 hours when I've felt fine. Was feeling quite positive and determined this was it earlier in the cycle, but worried my follies aren't big enough and we're triggering too early, but not a lot I can do. Also I'm sure they said last time I would need pessaries, but they've never given me any. Will ring the nurses on Monday. Test day is 23rd February which seems a lifetime away.

Someone at work asked me the day after my BFN when I'm giving DD a sibling because she NEEDS one apparently...fuck off.

I'm so tempted to use the clomid I have lying around from DD...would you? It's in date for another month.

When do you find out more?
