Yipee, it finally worked! Sorry to hear about the AFs, I got mine on my birthday at 10dpo, I was so upset, it was the worst one yet too, so painful, could have been to do with flying I guess. How are you all? I'm hoping to be really positive this cycle and get DH to do plenty of BDing, nothing new there!

I'm due to Ov in the next couple of days. I must say I felt like it was yesterday evening but what do I know. Hoping for a temp hike tomorrow.
Had a -ve OPK yesterday (well 2 actually ). I haven't done one yet today.

I took delivery of some Pre seed yesterday. My first experience of it. Not sure why I bought it - guess I felt like doing something to speed things up.

Anyone use it? Should I use it even if I have some EWCM? Silly question probably.

Before temping I used to have text book EWCM (the kind where you need to wear pantyliners to stop your trousers getting wet too , sorry if TMI). Now it's there but it kind of stays out of sight.

Maybe I'll give the pre seed a go tonight, in the hope that DH is not too tired when he gets home, leaving me in a mess .

I finally did an Ov test today but it was so faint that I could have possibly imagined it! I'm not doing another one as I only have 2 left.

i am getting a bit fed up of BDing this month to be honest! i was expecting to ovulate about 4 days ago and it didnt happen. my dh goes away on sunday for 10 days so if i havent ov'd by then i will be pissed off. i dont think i can hold any more baby gravy, i feel like i am full to the brim with it! YUM!!!

Been away at my parents in Glasgow for the last couple of weeks, so been incommunicado. Have I missed any BFPs? Sorry to hear about the unwelcome visitor on your birthday MrsMc!

I started getting EWCM on boxing day - the day of our hotel stay - and we BD'd about 4 times up to and including NY Eve. According to my saliva ferns and EWCM I ovulated somewhere round about Monday or Tuesday (hard to know for sure as temping went out the window while I was away).
Was sick as a dog last night and feeling nauseous since mid afternoon today, so crossing fingers altho I guess it's prob way too early for it to mean anything. The software says AF is due on the day of my DDs 1st Birthday party so will try and wait til then to test.

i am getting seriously pissed off with my body....AGAIN!!!!
every month it annoys me!
my temp was still down this morning.....even after me leaving my thermometer in for extra long, sucking really hard and willing it to be high! (anyone else do that?). i am not sure i want to BD again tonight cos it is now becoming a chore and i was determined not to let that happen this month. i know stress can delay ovulation, and i am stressing cos i really wanted to ov before dh goes away tomorrow. AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH! i have had cycles this long in the past, but they do piss me off!

OK! i feel a bit better after my rant!!!! thank you for listening.....if anyone kept reading this far!

Sorry to hear that gfmp! I know the feeling. I wasn't convinced that taking my temp orally was giving me an accurate reading (coz I found it hard to keep my gob shut long enough) so I've now switched to temping vaginally. Even if you ov a coupla days after he goes away you could still be lucky of course!

Quick message. Are any of you good with computers?
I'm having a nightmare.
I have spent days preparing some accounts on Excel and saved my stuff onto floppy disc. Now the computer tells me the disc is damaged and it can't read my files. Silly me - didn't save the files onto the c drive . I've been searching the net for some free recovery software, can't find one that doesn't cost to actually see the files.
Can anyone help, please?

guess what?....i STILL haven't ovulated! only cd30! and my dh has gone away now for 10 days. i am really pissed off cos we have BD'd 8 out of the last 10 days and if i had ov'd i would have thought we had given it a good go this month. AAAARRRGGGHHH! i hate my crap long cycles!

DH managed to retrieve some of my work but still had to put loads of links back in.

Can't believe it's CD30 for you and no Ov yet. 8 out of 10 days of Bding is very impressive. You put me to shame!
How long is your LP usually?

I was one of those really annoying people who took no time at all to conceive with my first 3, despite having a cycle of between 19 and 45 days. But because we were younger and thought we would take our time we didn't stress about it. Now I am hugely stressed, mainly because DH is not as keen as me on having another. After taking almost 18 months to convince him I'm worried that he will suddenly turn around and say 'no actually, no more'. So I kind of think of each month as my last attempt and get really stressed. Does that make sense?
Also I've had gyny problems since having number 3 and now have a prolapsed womb. My gyny told me to go back and see him if it took longer than 4 months to conceive.
I didn't ask him why he was only giving me 4 months. Now I wish I had. Maybe he knew that something would stop it happening.
This is my 4th cycle of properly trying. Not long really. Certainly not compared to many on here. I shouldn't complain. I have 3 lovely children already. 4 would be my lot though. I would have to have a hysterectomy after number 4 because of the prolapse and other little problems down there.

Off to bed now.

my first 2 were easily concieved too. the only difference with me this time is the stress i think. i didnt get stressed at all when we were ttc, but this time i want it SO much that i am constantly stressing about it. i am sure that is why it isnt happening. i have been on here ALL night! how sad am i ? i am going to try and sleep now in my big cold bed by myself. i might drag my ds in with me to keep me company!

Got up significantly later everyday and wonder why I bothered temping as I seem to have broken the tool... still not going to annoy dh on holiday by sticking to work times!

Greedy I know what you mean about the stress.
I know so many people that tried for months (years for some) and finally conceived on holiday when they had relaxed a bit.
I have one friend that tried for over a year for her first and again over a year for her second. That was it for her. Well until they had unprotected sex once. Now she has 3!
Funny and frustrating how things work sometimes.

I've got to the point where I even feel stressed during the act .
I haven't slept well for the past 3 night as I knew I should be Oving.
On Friday night I merrily inserted the Pre seed only for DH to fall asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow!

how big is everyones temp rise after ov generally? mine always seems to go from 36.4 to 36.6 or 36.7. the last 2 days it has been 36.5 and i am really hoping that might mean i have ovulated and its on a slow rise! i can live in hope cant i?
how stupid is it that we all know we chould relax and then we would probably concieve, but we just dont seem able to do it! this was supposed to be a relaxed chilled out month for me with no temp taking! yeah right! didnt happen did it?! i think once you start you just can't stop.....a bit like pringles!!!!
