Hello!
Yes, feeling less grumpy today, but DO have a hangover to contend with!
I've just spent a while reading a great thread on the tcoyf.com forums, where everyone who's just got a BFP posts what their 2ww symptoms were, if any.
Very enlightening - mainly because everyone has such different symptoms that it makes you realise that symptom-spotting is utterly futile! I found it really interesting, and encouraging too, to read of so many success stories. It was also interesting how many people said they really didn't have any intuitive feeling that they were pregnant, despite thinking that if they WERE pg, they'd somehow 'feel' pregnant. There was the odd post from someone symptom spotting on there and it does make me smile sometimes, the different things that we all think could mean something - one woman said she had really bad ear ache... and please could someone tell her if that was a symptom!
Lucky you off for 10 days, sounds wonderful. Hope it'll be a fabulously relaxing time for you and DH. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you - and my toes - really hope it's your turn this month. BUT you MUST find a way to let us know what the news is!! I don't think I can stand the suspense!
Maybe it's because I really don't have any particular feeling about it this month, I've already caved into doing a pg test. I have 3 or 4 of the cheapies left and think I'll just do a test each day now until AF arrives (or BFP!!). That was another interesting and grounding thing about reading the 2ww symptom-spotting thread - I looked at a lot of the women's charts, and reading their posts describing their symptoms it was amazing how many of them backed up that statistic you have previously given about getting BFN pg test results at 9,10,11,12,13 etc DPO... only then to go on to get a BFP a few days later. So that made me feel better about doing a test now, because I knew that it could only be good news. Either it was a BFP (it wasn't of course), or it was a BFN - which only means that the jury is still out, until evil AF arrives! That's enough justification for me now, I think...
So go on then MrsMc - what are these odd symptoms (IF you were symptom spotting, which you're not)? How are you feeling, apart from nervous that is!
