Geek - how embarrassed am I? talk about teaching your Granny to suck eggs! so sorry. Does that mean though that you can solve my problem? I am trying to move my software to another computer without losing my past cycles, how can I move them?

cedar - have posted your chart on the charts only thread also for the other chart spotters!- hope thats OK?

From what you have said it sounds like you are oving today CD14 - which would tie in with the 2 ov tests on Sat and Sun showing a second line/ faint+ I have used the ov tests and find with those ones I have to do them a couple of times a day (best time seems to be between 2-5pm to get a decent strong second line) and for me it the second line will only be as dark as control for a few hours and then it starts to fade again ) Those ov tests are measuring your LH hormone level which rises between 24 and 36 hours before OV so thats the best time to get BDing It loks like your LH probably peaked somtime between the 2 tests on Sat and Sun (the rise can only last 12 hours in some I think?? )- so anytime from Friday to tomorrow is a your window - I would expect you to have a temp rise either tomorrow or Wednesday (temp rise comes around 24 hours after ov so if you have the pains now it may be that the temp rise waits til Weds. Does that make any sense???

I think this is right - but I am sure someone mnore experinced will be along soon with more/better info.

3Cats ? doesn?t look like many of our efforts were for anything but fun, hey ho! There was a time when that would have been more than enough! I?m so sorry that cd1 arrived for you again. I can totally understand how you must be feeling I think you should go to the appointment and I hope you can get DH to carry on trying too (you are hardly going to be in the mood for anything if he reaches for the drawer ? that would start a massive row in our house for sure!)

I need HELP!!
Ok... I need help with my temp today, I'm so annoyed!! I usually take my temp at 7am, but this morning I woke at 6am and needed the toilet so took my temp beforehand 36.27 - so I adjust up to 36.37 and it's quite high considering by normal temps... (unless I ovulated yesterday??). Anyway, went back to sleep until 8.30 and took temp again and it is 36.34 so after the adjustment down by 1.5degrees it would be 36.19. ARGH! What should I do? Help

PS. I have the start of a cold, is it likely to affect my temp?

Hi Ready, I would use the first temp at 6am. The later one was after getting up so it won't be quite the same anyway.

Any other signs of Ov. I'll look at your chart.

Hi Ready ? I think the temping is stressing me out I woke up at 5.20am, temped & it was 35.9. I immediately started to stress because it was still a pre OV temp and just managed to get back to sleep and have a stressful dream before the alarm went off at 6.30, temped again just to see and it was 36.1 (which is what my software will change the earlier reading to anyway). So upshot is, I am still under the coverline and I am meant to be cd21. I think I?ll try and forget about the CDs even if I do carry on temping this ?cycle? as until I get an AF (and let?s hope I don?t) I won?t really know what day I am on. I?ve also got to admit that my obsession with falling again before an AF is not very healthy Anyway, back to you I say you take the earlier reading and adjust it up and try and forget you temped again later on! Hope your cold gets better soon

Thanks for the help gals! What I have done is noted it as the temp taken on FF, but in my own booklet I have noted both the actual and the adjusted temps!
I woke at 6.10 today, and temp was 36.37!! So adjusting it I'd say 36.47!! Madness. Looks like I probably did OV on CD14... which I am a little miffed about. Last month I OVd later (CD19), so we were conscious of not starting too early this month and started on 12 as opposed to 10 So only got in 12(pm) and 14(am) prior to temp shift! But it's done now, can't change it.

MrsMcJnr - I'm sorry that temping is stressing you out. It must be so frustrating just waiting for the temp to shift! Take it easy on yourself, your body needs time to find it's rhythm again, but that doesn't mean you can't fall again straight away! It just means you won't be able to determine anything from your chart! I'd say carry on temping just to get yourself back into the habit of it, but don't worry about when you will see a shift - it might give your eggs performance anxiety - they might be waiting til you stop looking I jest, of course. All will become clear! Oh, and how crazy would it be if Mum03 was right?

I have stupidly got all my hopes up this month

Silly things like if it happens and lasts the due date would be my birthday.

One good thing for me this month is that I OV'd CD18 rather than 21 so I am hoping my cycle is settling down and getting shorter in the pre-OV phase.

It could be coincidence or the Agnus Castus I am trying against most of the advice I've been getting on MN. I quit the accupunturist it just wasn't working out for me. If I need fertility treatment then I may try Reflexology.

Sorry to hear about AF hon that?s good news about your OV date though . If I could find someone to give me advice about the more potent herbal remedies I would but there doesn?t seem to be anyone local here.

I am the opposite of City - My hopes couldn't be lower for this cycle. I ovulated early, and we really didn't put the effort in I am beginning to wonder if we are cut out for this ttc lark. Last month we put in lots of effort (5,8,10,12,14,16,17,20) and I ovulated later on CD19 so poorly timed. This cycle we thought we would start on 12 - then I ovulate on 14 so again, poorly timed. And to be plainly honest, looking back over my charts, we have managed it on OV day 4 times now (including this month) and that doesn't even seem to work! Argh. Next cycle will be number 8 and I really can't see us ever cracking it

I know I am being totally self-idulgent moping on here, especially when I consider who I am talking to - and I really am sorry, but I am just having an off day today.

Ready that's tough. I felt exactly the same last month. I have found the CBFM tool has been invaluable in working out OV but it is expensive.

I don't know how you managed it so much last month. My boobs would have fallen off we had tried to keep up!

My biggest problem at the moment is getting over I am happy for everyone who is pg (loads of people I know) except for this one miserable cow that I can't stand. Who gave birth to #1 at home and is all smug. Dh wants to go and see them and I just want to give her a slap!

Thanks Cityangel, that was really kind of you, I?ll look into those It is hard with RL pregnant people, I get it too. I have to admit, I?m avoiding a few (and a few are avoiding me! ) Met a girl in the lift who was complaining about her bump, it wasn?t her fault, she didn?t know about me and was just making conversation but it nearly made my cry and turn round and go home again.

Ready ? it is a total lottery hon. Sometimes I think it?s worth chucking out all the TTC toys and just making sure we get down to it 2-3 times/week but I think that would actually be more stressful. It sounds to me like you are doing your best and it will happen you know You?re allowed an off day, the process is emotional and exhausting!

My coverline is very suspect. At 08:20 I was 36.4 at 08:45 I was 36.6... really hoping for it to be higher.
