Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

Shorty I've heard of people ovulating on CD 19 hang in there.

I caved just now and tested, though AF isn't due for a few days.

I feel like there might be the slightest hint of a line? Any thoughts either way? I haven't been feeling positive about this month, and it is early, so I am OK with being told it is all in my head!

Seasons greetings everybody! I haven't caught up for a while so just checking in to see how everyone is? Sorry for dipping out for a bit, it's been nice reading through to catch up with how you all are.

Hoggle I was so excited to see your BFP, any further news? If it has turned out to be a chemical pregnancy then I'm devastated for you, such a cruel trick of our bodies that one. Hopefully your lines are just playing up like Gx says. Fx for you that you've got a little Christmas pudding to grow in there and your line will get stronger again to reassure you.

Hi jp lovely to hear from you! Glad you're having a good lead up to Christmas. I'm all excited this year, ds is about to turn 2 and it's so fun hyping him up about everything.

Unfortunately pg tests are now negative and I woke up to bleeding so I think AF is on the way. Not sure with chemical pregnancies what happens really - is the bleeding essentially just a late period and can I count it as such? Just wondering whether, if we get pg next month, is this AF reliable for dating purposes?

Anyway, am trying to be c'est la vie about it all but at the moment I'm just gutted. Dh is (rightfully) seeing it as just one of those unfortunate things whereas it feels like a real loss to me. I guess because for those 2 days you start thinking about the little thing inside you and taking more care, start eating better etc, but suddenly it's all gone. At least I have lots of things to look forward to, ds is 2 next week and then obviously there's the Big Day itself.

Def echoing jp though that it's lovely to hear of everyone else and how their pg's are progressing. If nothing else it gives me hope we'll be joining you soon!

Bit late to the party but I think I belong here. DS was a one hit wonder, I got upduffed straight after our honeymoon but #2 is proving more elusive. Currently on cycle 3 and watching everyone around me announce pregnancies.

For Hoggle. Really sorry to hear that your tests have gone negative. My best friend successfully conceived immediately after a chemical pregnancy, so it seems it can happen. Are you doing ovulation tests? They might help with dating if your cycles are thrown off.

I also wanted to let people know the extra things I did to try to get pregnant this month. I don't know if they made a difference or if it is just coincidence. I was taking red clover and angus castus. Last time I was taking these was for endometriosis (mild), and I got pregnant with DD very unexpectedly. So I thought I'd try again... I also used balance activ fertility gel. I'm 38 so reckoned I should throw everything at the effort!

Fingers crossed for everyone trying and waiting to test.

I've held off joining but been lurking for a long time. I'm in the same boat as you hoggle and had 3 days where I thought I was pregnant before late AF arrived. Think it was a chemical pregnancy as I had all the symptoms. Its so disappointing.

Consoling myself by remembering I can drink at Christmas.

Now planning for next month. Should O around around 20th which is a shame as if it was later me and DP would have time off work so could get down to some BD.

I have a nearly 2 year old DS.

Not long back from my booking app , all went well apart from my blood spraying over myself and the midwife during blood tests lol also ft scan date for 6 th of Jan something to look forward to in the new year ! X
