Anyone ttc baby #2?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, ttc baby #2 (1st cycle) and already driving myself wild with the tww. I wondered if anyone else is in the same boat?

I was so relaxed about baby #1 that the constant nagging thoughts about am I / aren't I are completely new to me and are making me feel anxious with symptom spotting.

Thought I'd see if there is anyone to talk to on here as my husband is quite matter of fact about there being nothing we can do to find out except for being patient - I know, he's infuriating right.

It'd be great to buddy up if anyone else is in a similar position.

Serious, the earliest I would recommend testing is when your period is due, to avoid madness. But I tested at 9dpo, a week before my period is due! Negative. If I had tests in now I would be testing (14/15dpo). I don't so I am avoiding the shops and trying to hold my nerve. I feel a little crampy so either my period is coming or so etching more positive is happening.

I hate these crampy feelings Tattie! That and bloatiness! Is it or isn't it? When can you test?

I might go and buy a test later, but I'm trying to hold off as my period might not be late yet. But the bloated campiness is annoying. I felt like this early in my pregnancy with DD, but I also often feel like it when my period is coming!

MrsL2012 it's so hard, isn't it! Tattie I spent so much on tests when TTC#1, when is your AF due? I'm only just ovulating now so have a couple of weeks to go yet...

I've bought the tests but am trying to hold off until the weekend!

My cycles have been a little irregular recently, my period is due any time between now and Sunday. I usually 27/28 days, ovulating around day 14. Cycles have been as short as 23/24 days though. I ovulated around day 9 this time. I don't know if that means I'm overdue as I haven't been tracking long so I don't know when I ovulated on the shorter cycles.

Thank goodness for this thread, it is good to hear from others in a similar position!

I've not been tracking my cycles really, it took ages to go back to normal after having DS as I went on the pill for a few months then came off again, so my last 3 have been 26-28 days and this one is up to 31 so far!

Do you know when you ovulated? Sounds like it wouldbe worth testing now!

Looks like my period is coming today. Gutted! Was feeling quite optimistic. Wish I could fast forward the next week or so.

I know the feeling tattie hope AF isn't too hard on u X mibi ul concieve at Christmas ! Means u can enjoy the festive season without morning sickness and sleepiness ! Xx

Yeh your right , well done keeping at it lol me n OH we're only used to dtd like 2 times a week so wer pretty worn out trying all the time lol I was like " let's just spoon this one" haha gone bk to just doing it when he comes bk now coz he's gagging for it lol timing was good coz he only started working away just as I ovulated , he will b bk to working closer to home after Christmas X

Hi ladies, would you mind me joining? Ttc #2 , have an almost 2.5 yo DS. We are in 2nd month of trying. Also have been sending myself bonkers in tww. I think af is starting (spotting for past 2 days) and just want it to be over so we can start again!! Been using OPKs which I also used first time around and we got pregnant 2nd month. Makes me wonder how long it will take this time around.

Still no AF here! I don't have any symptoms though, maybe needing the loo more often but that could also be put down to the cold haha xx

Hi pineapple! Fingers crossed for you - it might be implantation bleeding yet! The tww is soooo frustrating!

Well AF due today been having deep cramps for over 24 hours now but am only on CD26 so I expect it is just playing with me after 3 months of AF starting at CD24 CD25 CD26 it will start tomorrow.
I refuse to test that way madness lies will hold on until Sunday if AF doesn't show up. Would be typical it is the first month of temp charting and OPKs and I could have sworn I didn't ovulate this month I am also 500 miles from dh so would have to tell him by phone. .......but seriously doubt I am pg anyway.

Welcome pineapple ! TWW is the worst hope u haven't much longer to wait ? No harm in testing 10dpo onwards if u buy cheap tests ! X
