Hey November bunnes, perhaps it's me but it says thread too big to post messages? If it is me then just then this thread die.

Thanks for everyone's advice on temping and OPKs it is very useful. ready4 I fancy a snooze it was tough getting out of bed today. Miserable weather out there.

Hi Chooster aka rr. Sounds like a good plan! I also work in IT for a bank, but all my colleagues are male so I'd be very surprised if they came up to me at the coffee machine and wanted to discuss the unthinkable

Not long to go for us now in Nov... 13 days

Happy Friday

Sorry Greedy - feel like a right idiot now. Actually I'm just off out to my shed to start work right now. For reasons of anonymity, I cannot share with you all what it is I will be doing as it will completely blow my cover (no I am not a spy). I will be wearing a dustmask, protective clothing and mmmm, latex gloves though....

Chooster · 22/11/2006 08:33

Mmmm, Bodkin - what on earth were you doing to be that protected - The mind boggles... I know what you mean about the ante-natal threads - I think if I had some symptoms I'd be posting in there more, but as it is I've got nothing to say! Apart from wondering why I have no symptoms

Hey cityangel - How cool is that to be watching your pals get married on line!!! Great fun! Hope you are all having a few celebratory drinks afterwards.

Good luck to the weekend testers (well, almost testers - depending on how much you can resist).

MrsMcJnr · 22/11/2006 10:25

Hello November ladies - 8 days and counting left!

Ohhhh Honeyapple, sounding good, hope it's not a bug, here's hoping you get your BFP on Monday!

1n2s - if there is any chance you could be pregnant and get pains, I am sure you known this already but keep off the ibrufen and take parcetamol instead, anti-inflammatories can cause issues with prostaglandin (don't ask me what they are or what that is, I've forgotten ) Everything crossed for you!

Bodkin and Chooster - I am sure I speak for everyone on this thread and the Dec thread in saying that we are so glad that you are sticking around, we'd miss you so much if you left us totally!! trying to guess what Bodkin does in the shed .....

Cityangel - how exciting about your friends' wedding!! DH and I were in Vegas 3 years ago with 2 other couples, actually, it was this time of year because we had a champagne Thanksgiving Breakfast in the Grand Canyon - we had a ball!

For those who don't read the Dec thread, I have lots going on just now, DH is going into hospital tomorrow morning for his discectomy (sp!) I am taking him there and will be a nervous wreck driving home. He should be home on Sunday and then will need to recuperate for 4-6 weeks (must get to Ann Summers for my nurses outfit!), in the meantime, I think I OVd on Monday which was CD15 for me and was unexpected as normally OV around CD18 so it was perfect timing really as we have been doing lots of BDing and, I was offered a new job yesterday that sounds great and I am so excited to accept it today -- someone stop the roundabout, I want to get off!

Bodkin · 22/11/2006 11:33

Thanks for the update MrsMcJ - haven't been reading Dec much. Sounds great about the new job and that's good that DH is going to get his back seen to sooner rather than later - means if you don't get lucky this month, you can chill out, enjoy Christmas and both have a month or so off, then return to TTC with renewed vigour!!! That sounds good about early ov though, that was me last month if you remember, so fingers crossed for you.

Knew I would have you scratching your head Chooster - especially as I told you about my bookkeeping job on Thursdays. that is just my part-time job that keeps a steady income coming in, while what I really do is far more interesting.

Well, don't suppose it would kill me to reveal, but we might as well have some fun so lets play "What's Bodkin's Line"

OK, it is a traditional craft.

Ready · 22/11/2006 11:43

greedyguzzler · 22/11/2006 11:59

babyfettle? any signs of ov for you yet?
twix? what is goin on with you? has AF def arrived or not?
good luck everyone else

Ready · 22/11/2006 12:45

Bodkin! Are you a Thatcher??

Chooster · 22/11/2006 12:55
  • well its got to be something you make then transport as you do it in your shed... And it involves something you dont want to get on your skin or inhale... And old houses have them... Are you some sort of sculptor? Is it arty?
KitKat30 · 22/11/2006 13:11

Honestly - you leave the boards for a few hours and there's all sorts of shenanigans going on!

CD1 for me today ladies, so I'm off to the Dec thread. Who's left to test in Nov??

cityangel · 22/11/2006 13:13

Dolls House maker? Grafitti artist?
This is fun...perhaps we should start a wierd hobby thread. I have one you can guess after Bodkins :0)

CD29 today. Got a bit ahead of myself in the days before! BFN yesterday.

Am pumping DH full of Sperm vitamins inc. Proxeed, L'Arginine, L-Carnitine, B12, Zinc, Vit E, Selenium, Co Enzyme Q10, C and Multivit. Not entirely sure he appreciates it but I took the pill all those years now its his turn so to speak and good for him.

I tried to download the Ovusoft software yesterday but I have Linux so I need to try on the other machine tonight and read the instructions for the CB Fertility Monitor.

More about having to (choosing to) drink grapefruit juice again than impending AF.

cityangel · 22/11/2006 13:14

KitKat so sorry its CD1. I am right behind you

big hug on its way from East London. I am hoping for a first too and 2 years younger than you. It's very hard to know what to expect isn't it. Although at the moment I am expecting nothing!

OP posts:
KitKat30 · 22/11/2006 13:22

Thanks Cityangel (I'm near you I think, over here in EC2!) - really, really hope your AF stays well away hon!

Come greedyguts - tell us what you do?!?

Ready · 22/11/2006 13:41

Bodkin said "old houses have them" so I thought thatched roof?? But now I wonder if that is still wood based???

cityangel · 22/11/2006 13:51

Hey KitKat yes its a miserable weather day here at Canary Wharf - not far

Dovecote making? Sash Window Restorer?

OP posts:
babyfettle · 22/11/2006 14:17

Wow, this thread moves so fast ? I can?t keep up during the day. Shouldn?t even be on here now at work, but I?m addicted!!

How about those cute animals that adorn thatched roofs??

Sorry for AF Kitkat
good luck Cityangel - hang in there!

Think I may as well attempt to keep up with December thread now, as no GreedyG, still no sign of ov ? CD33 now.

take care all
must go, before I'm caught!

Bodkin · 22/11/2006 14:18

Getting warmer Cityangel!

Like the idea of being a thatcher, but think that would be a bit too perilous in my condition!

Am looking forward to guessing yours. Do we start now or when we've finished mine? You'll have to give us a clue to get us started.
Your DH must rattle when he walks at the mo, the amount of beans he's on!

Kitkat - sorry to hear AF arrived.

Blimey Greedy, you and DH must be red raw !!!

Bodkin · 22/11/2006 14:21

sorry babyfettle, cross post. CD33? is that usual for you? Can't remember if you have tested or not yet?
