Hey November bunnes, perhaps it's me but it says thread too big to post messages? If it is me then just then this thread die.

Thanks for everyone's advice on temping and OPKs it is very useful. ready4 I fancy a snooze it was tough getting out of bed today. Miserable weather out there.

Hi Chooster aka rr. Sounds like a good plan! I also work in IT for a bank, but all my colleagues are male so I'd be very surprised if they came up to me at the coffee machine and wanted to discuss the unthinkable

Not long to go for us now in Nov... 13 days

Happy Friday

Hi all. Its so hard to keep up with you all!!!
Honeyapple - how is the nausea?
Conkertree - any news? I keep getting the odd twinge of period pains and then they dissapear again, oh fingers so tightly crossed
Ready and Greedyguzzler - thanks for the words of encouragement . Are you a nurse Greedyguzzler?
Bodkin - I'm sure a good night on saturday will be had by all, AF or no AF (the latter hopefully!!)
MrsMcJr - thanks for the top tip about brufren - I didn't know it affected your prostoglandin etc, I presumed the effect of brufren would be too early in pregnancy to have any effect, you're a font of all knowledge Hows is DH and his back?

MrsMcJnr · 22/11/2006 15:50

Bodkin are you a weaver? do you make tapestries? how about something to do with slate? no wait.....I've got it....you find them in old houses... ghosts... you're a ghost buster (showing my age!)

Greedy - new name for you "Greedyforbabydancing"

Mine takes ManMax (or MaxMan ) from Holland & Barratt - it seems to have most of the things I've read that he should have.

Bodkin · 22/11/2006 16:54

ROFL at Ghost Buster!!!!

Umm, another clue.... Churches have them too...

sideways · 22/11/2006 16:57

babyfettle - we are not strangers . Not sure your dh would agree though.

honeyapple · 22/11/2006 16:59

cityangel · 22/11/2006 17:32

Can I have some honeyapple I'm hungry!

Mrs MC I am 12DPO ish...

You're right I should feed him less pills. Still bought them all now so will run them down and then reconsider. I hope his sperm are enjoying them. Maybe they're having a StrongSperm contest Hope they are anyway!

I'm loving Honeyapples' stained glass window idea and am fresh out of ideas of my own! Some kind of restorer...

I'm off home to watch the Vegas wedding online. Very excited

babyfettle · 22/11/2006 18:47

I thought of Ghost buster too!

Churches, old houses - Tricky!!....

....what about stonemason? Do you make gargoyles Bodkin?

1n2s · 22/11/2006 19:03

greedyguzzler - aha! Just coz you mentioned patients and I wondered. Somehow I ended up with the chat name 1n2s as I tried enetering loads of names in the beginning and they'd all gone, got in a muddle and entered some numbers and it accepted them before I could change them... hense the name Should change it but never get round to it....

1n2s · 22/11/2006 19:06

Now .... just some diversion away from thinking about whether AF is about to arrive or not, I'm booking some mini breaks for me and DH to have a change of scenery whilst BDing over the next few months!! I thought Amsterdam might be quite apt - anyone been? Any good hotels?

Babymad2DS · 22/11/2006 19:41

How are we all? CD21 myself and 7dpo so half way though the 2ww! Testing 28-30 nov fingers crossed!

So how are we all getting on?

babyfettle · 22/11/2006 19:57

1n2s - Amsterdam is lovely, but don't know any hotels, as normally stay with relatives when visiting Holland - but have you considered Bruges? DH and I had a lovely romantic long weekend there a few years ago and had a fantastic time. Always thinking we should go back.

Good luck all who are in 2ww - wish I was there too! I've had cycles this long before, but I suppose this one is extra frustrating as it is our 1st chance to TTC since June as DH has been away. Hey-ho, can't go on forever {at least I hope not!!]

MrsMJ - I hope it all goes well with your DH and you are not too upset/worried over the next few days. Great news that you ov'd early just at the right time.

Anyway, must go - you'd be very proud MrsMJ, I'm off to start writing Christmas cards! Going to at least try and be organised this year!

Take care all

greedyguzzler · 22/11/2006 20:06

king of bods....where are you? i came on here AGAIN today for the millionth time just to find out what you do! when my dh moans at me cos i am spending too much time on here i will tell him it is all bodkins fault! (obviously he will then look at me like i have gone COMPLETELY mad! and probably ask for a divorce or something!) so.......do you think you should tell us now?....it had better be good after all this!

conkertree? are you still waiting?

babyfettle.....its soooooooooooooooo annoying to have a super long cycle isnt it? i know exactly how you feel! and its exhausting in the BDing department too!

honeyapple · 22/11/2006 20:27

1n2s- Amsterdam is a lovely city... although twas a long time ago that i went there. My memory is slightly hazy (IYKMIM ).How about Barcelona? thats a great place for romance and fun...drinking cava, eating tapas...

BTW- not felt sick today.

Bodkin · 22/11/2006 20:29

sorry, sorry - teatime, bedtime, all that, you know how it is.

Honeyapple wins the prize for guessing correctly - yes I make and restore stained glass windows. A filthy dirty and vaguely toxic (lead) profession esp. when preggers, hence full body protection.

Right what can I give you as a prize? Umm, how about a Moolinex food processor and a canteen of cutlery - that;s the sort of dodgy prizes they used to give away on crap game shows isn't it?

Right, cityangel, your turn!

Sorry about burnt dinner btw!

honeyapple · 22/11/2006 20:32
Grin
cityangel · 22/11/2006 23:10

Hey everyone

Bodkin. What a cool thing to do Send us some pics? Is it a hobby/ profession both? TMI? Nosey city chic who only uses the creative side of the brain in trying to work out how to get on that tube when everyone else has given up

You smart bunny honeyapple Go for dusty the bin!

We went on a romantic weekend to Amsterdam last year. We stayed in the Grand Krasnapolsky which was very central and got a newspaper city break deal. Really nice. If you do stay there don't stay in their apartments just the main hotel itself (long story) You also need to be careful with other options that you aren't too far from the centre or in the wrong area. Go on hotelreview to find good options. Then you can compare prices on travelprices and then book your own thing your own way
Its v. popular with hen/ stag/ naughties so worth comparing a handful of other cities to see best deal v. romance. On the easy and ryanair websites they have a map of their destinations which gets bigger all the time so good luck with the deals.

cityangel · 22/11/2006 23:55

So 1n2s go for it. I went to Madrid for my hen weekend nice, but petty crime was high there. Ask everyone you know where they recommend for romance and you'll end up with lots of fun bd places.
London hotel/ show/ bubbly... Paris... Country Hotel...Bruges.. good luck

Conkertree where are you hug

Babyfettle I agree longer cycles are frustrating . I've been trying OV tests to work out when (CD17 - 19 usually) so that I don't get hopefull too early at AF time. It also helps to work out if my luteal phase is long enough. My only bizarre observation is how few people on MN end up due to test at the end of each month? Maybe people's cycles get in sync?

MrsMC my dh say he hopes your dh is ok. My dh would like to remotely send choc/ sci fi/ beer/ no talking & laughs 'in a manly way' hope sending that helps I've never been to Vegas but it sounds fun. We watched our friends' wedding online so fun and different! As they are a mortuary manager and undertaker they have a unique perspective on life. Good luck with your new job too. I can sympathise with change coming along all at once. I lost my job the day before I was wedding shopping with my Mum in March this year so sometimes you just have to run with it.

To all the bd graduates I am pleased the ante-natal threads are slower... pls come back to play whenever you're free!

So a big exciting day I guess I need to chill out soon... Happy Wednesday :0)

Mrs MC I meant wedding dress shopping!

conkertree · 23/11/2006 08:37

stained glass windows sounds like such a fantastic job - do you design them as well?

was going to test this morning but dh and i had a bit of an argument last night and so wasn't really in the mood this morning - made up pretty quickly but only after i'd been for a pee, so no time after that to test before going to work.

might try tomorrow or might wait till sat if AF not here by then.

greedyguzzler · 23/11/2006 09:14

king of bods - thats a bit different isnt it! how do you get into something to like that? i bet you are trying to get friendly with kyte to see if she can put some work your way! dont worry about the lead by the way (not sure if you were or not anyway) but i used to work with REALLY high concentrations of pesticides, mercury, lead and lots of other teratogens when i was pg and all was fine( did you do the same job last time you were pg?) i think the protective clothing is great and definately does its job!

i feel like i have won the lottery today! my temp has FINALLY gone up (cd26) so i reckon i might have ov'd yesterday ( shame we chose to have a break from BDing last night!) nevermind, hopefully there was still a bit of baby gravy hanging around form previous sessions!

whats happening with everyone about to test?????

thinking of you mrsmcspink
