Hey November bunnes, perhaps it's me but it says thread too big to post messages? If it is me then just then this thread die.

Thanks for everyone's advice on temping and OPKs it is very useful. ready4 I fancy a snooze it was tough getting out of bed today. Miserable weather out there.

Hi Chooster aka rr. Sounds like a good plan! I also work in IT for a bank, but all my colleagues are male so I'd be very surprised if they came up to me at the coffee machine and wanted to discuss the unthinkable

Not long to go for us now in Nov... 13 days

Happy Friday

Hey Greedy - let us help you! If you have OV, your temp should have gone up above the highest of the previous 6 temps yes. Do you have your temps? do you want to post them so we can have a look? try not to worry, if your cycles are getting shorter, that means you have more chances of your BFP more quickly!

babyfettle · 20/11/2006 17:36

Hi everyone!

Greedy - always had irregular periods, until after mc in Feb, once the complications following it were sorted out, I've had 35 day cycles all summer (while DH was away). He came back on CD14 and I though great - lets get at it, but here we are CD30 and not a temp rise in sight - not even a whisper of a warm shallow incline? Nothing!

Having very disturbed nights with DD at the mo, and wondering if that is affecting temps, but would have thought that would have artifically raised them? Anyway, never thought I'd hear it, but even DH is starting to flake at the thought of yet another night BD-ing! Every other day for eternity, it feels like at the mo - feel if we miss a night, that will be the day the temps rise. CM is being particularly unhelpful, as seems to be pretty constant, but no EWCM really noticed either - oh the things we discuss on here!

Think you're right prob best to migrate to the Dec thread, as it won't be a Nov postive for me!

Kitkat - good luck - if you don't need them, can you send the chocolate this way!!

Good luck everyone else too!!

greedyguzzler · 20/11/2006 19:33

babyfettle.....we do sound similar. i am getting fed up of BDing too! i have been spotting ( i think) today and i wondered if i might just be rubbed raw inside from too much BDing and that was making me bleed! prob not, i am just being daft and trying to find reasons for the strange things my body is doing. i dont want to miss a night either cos i am worried my temp will rise the next day too! i have run out of OPKs too! cos i have been using 2 a day since day11 and i am now on cd23! hey, this is funny.......(not really).......i can remember ordering my first lot of OPKs and buying 5 with a free pg test. i saw packs of 50 for sale with 10 free pg tests and i joked to my dh (oh how we laughed!) at someone being desperate enough to buy 50 opks! now.......20 billion opks later i feel a bit silly!
i reckon my spotting might actually be beginnings of AF, dont know, not sure.
mrsmcjnr.....my temps have been 36.4 or 36.3 for the past 23 days. pretty consistent really. not looking good is it? normally rise to at least 36.6 after ov so i am pretty sure i havent ov'd yet.
kitkat.....any news?
cityangel......any news?

greedyguzzler · 20/11/2006 19:36

sorry king of bods....i meant to say your twins comment made me smile ( best i can manage today i am afraid!) thanks he wasnt serious was he? cos sometimes my dh amazes me with his stupidity when it comes to anything biological!

babyfettle · 20/11/2006 19:44

Hi GG

I had some very mild spotting back around CD23, I think - every day is blurring into one. Temps sound very similar to yours 36.2-36.3, with one brief trip to 36.5 (how excited was I that day), only for it to crash back to 36.3 2 days later (I forgot on the intervening day!)

I've never tried OPK, as I've never had any idea when I would use them and would probably need to sell everything I own, just to buy enough for a normal cycle!! Oh why, is it so frustrating? Is this your first child you are trying for? It took us 2 years to conceive DD, and then about 9 months before my last pg, which unfortunately ended at 9.5 weeks. Just wish I had regular 28 day cycles, so it would at least be quicker each cycle, rather than having to wait so long each time.

Anyway, I've gone on enough - hope in a way, that your spotting is AF, as at least then, you can start your cycle again and maybe next time, it will be better.

take care
x

greedyguzzler · 20/11/2006 20:00

hi again BF (babyfettle! not 'best friend'....i hardly know you!!!!! just in case you thought i was getting over friendly!!!!!)
i already have ds (3.4) and dd (1.10) so i am being greedy really wanting another, but it happened really quickly both times before and when we started trying in april i thought it would be quick again! i had it all planned the age gaps i wanted, and exactly when i wanted a baby to fit in with preschool and nursery and even potty training dd! how stupid am i to think it would all work out perfectly! and i have told the whole of the south of england that we are trying for another baby, so i feel daft about thta too!
i would say, dont use the opks. for people with long irregular cycles i think they are crap as i have proved this month. and also i have found that if we have BD'd at exactly the right time according to the opk i just assumed i would be pg! last month we did everything spot on and i just took it for granted that i would be pg.....again....how stupid am i?
i have decided i am really going to try not to worry about things next month! i am going to have a break for xmas and just BD when we want and (somehow) i am going to try and forget what day of my cycle i am on! if possible!

babyfettle · 20/11/2006 20:40

Hello again GG - hope you don't mind me calling you a horse! Actually, I should stick to greedyguzzler, shouldn't I? You might think I'm confusing you with Gina G!

Funny, I always associate BF with breast-feeding!! But BF is fine for me (babyfettle, breast-feeding, best friend...whatever!)

I'm toying with the idea of stopping charting too, but the only thing is that I'd never know when to even think about expecting AF if I did that - I could be 9 weeks pg before I even had an inkling something might be up - very tricky. But I do think that obsessing is not the best way to TTC.

Anyway, good luck with it all. I'll update as and when I even ovulate [perhaps I should start a hoping for pos Feb thread and be done with it!!]

Take care
x

Chooster · 20/11/2006 21:37

Hey MrsMc - Thats good that you've read good things about DH's consultant - and also good that DH is so upbeat! Even if it is about having time off work! Have you been getting those BD sessions in - any sign of OV?

Sorry to hear about no OV BF and Greedy! Thats rubbish isn't it - totally agree about the OPK's though - I got hugely stressed about them the month I used them as all I saw was a string of -ve one after the other. Got my BFP the following month after I ditched them. And Greedy please don't beat yourself up about thinking it would be as easy again. Its natural to think that and I was exactly the same - It will happen, just in its own time.

Hi to all the other November ladies!!! Hope you are all well
xx

cityangel · 20/11/2006 23:38

Work has been bananas which has taken my mind of things and unfortunately kept me away. CD28 today... due day after tomorrow and have AF pain (+ lower temp) Still heh ho first month with a positive OPK so small steps are fine

Kit Kat I am sorry and can honestly say I know how it feels. I get very annoyingly hopeful, then I pretend to myself it doesn't matter but like you said it does. I hope the chocolate nights are fun... I'm allergic to chocolate so its liquorice allsorts and lemon sherbets all the way!

Hey Babyfettle big hug I sympathise with the frustration. It's easy to see every moment together as that bd opportunity. I am resolved to chill out next month or else!

Greedy G to crossed nipple tassles! I need to get some, spice it up a bit!

I too went for it in the OPK department but made a bit of fool of myself. With a couple of flat gatherings I stashed the various bd related books/ OPKS etc all over the place. I went round at the weekend gathering them all up only to discover I had way more than I realised I had and now the bedside drawer looks like a mini Boots! I am not a brand bunny in anyway but personally found the first response ones more sensitive.

I regret telling the few people I did too. I was resolved not too but got too excited oops

Hey MrsMC chatting does really help. I think ov was CD18/19. My problem is that I have 4 different points this month where my temp went up by 0.3 so its not clear. I wish your dh luck ( = clover), I think its great he's getting sorted because in the long run a happier pain free body is better for dh and nookie . Now is also a good time of year to conceal a turkey baster I don't have any example of one temp higher than the last six. Also only managed a cover line 2 cycles ago. The only one that looked normal was the first off the pill.

Good luck First Star, Chooster and Bodkin here's hoping some of us are over with you soon Bodkin I'm sure you'll get some symptoms. Everyone seems to be different in that department.

Morning girls, hope you're all OK this very chilly Tues morning??

Well AF has stayed away so far - but still got a BFN this morning. So I have no clue what's going on! I think if I was pg it would have showed up at 14dpo - I mean, there wasnt even a hint of a line! I'm pretty sure AF is going to arrive any time today or tomorrow. As you say cityangel it's so hard not to get your hopes up - even now (despite staring at a bloody huge BFN this morning) I'm thinking pg is still a possibility, but I know deep down it's not... I wish it would just arrive so I could get on with my next cycle really! Ho hum.

Seems like we're all a bit down in the dumps this week! Here's hoping one of us gets a BFP this month, that will cheer everyone up!

greedyguzzler · 21/11/2006 08:53

oh toffee crisp! i really really really hope af stays away........still hope at the moment, but this time of month is the worst isnt it.....wondering yes or no....BFN or BFP.....its crap! i feel for you, but hopefully in a few days we will all be saying congrats. no harm in being positive!

greedyguzzler · 21/11/2006 08:56

i didnt mean to post that!.....i hadnt finished!.........i also wanted to say i love the fact that you keep coming back to chat to us chooster chops and king of bods! its nice! gives me hope!
OMG! how pathetic am i?

KitKat30 · 21/11/2006 09:07

Thanks greedy hon - throwing you cyber toffee crisp for being so nice.

conkertree · 21/11/2006 09:10

morning - I have been crazily busy at work so just managing to read other peoples posts with a quick lunch but not write anything.

Sorry everyone is feeling a bit down. I keep thinking that at this time of year if no BFPs, at least December is usually quite a cheerful month with lots going on so lots of other things to think about.

Dont have a huge amount to report - have more spots than usual but don't know if thats body still getting used to being off the pill (came off three months ago). CD28 today. bought some tests at the weekend just in case but have managed not to use any yet. might give one a shot on thursday, or might manage to hold off till the weekend if no AF.

KitKat30 · 21/11/2006 09:25

Just found pinkish spotting... Think it's all over for me this month, so I will be joining you lovely ladies on the Dec thread. x

Hello November ladies! only 9 days of this month left, what's the roll call? who's left and when will you know? (so impatient aren't I? )

Babyfettle - sorry to hear that you don't appear to have OVd yet I agree, I would have thought that your disturbed nights would have raised your temps too. No wonder you and DH are shattered! you have given it a great go, I'm very impressed! Hope you get some kind of change soon!

Greedy - you and Babyfettle do seem to be going through the same thing, spooky! Access Diagnostics have a sale on at the mo if you want anymore OPKs! The deal is free delivery between 17 - 30 Nov and 5% off if you spend £5 or more (code: xmas5%) or 10% off if you spend £150 or more !!!!) (code: xmas10%). These discounts can be used until end of Jan, 1 code per order and you can use them more than once.

Hello Chooster we have been getting a few BDs in yes, think I might have OV yest but even if I haven't have just heard that DH doesn't need to report to the hospital until 8am Thurs now so we have a few more chances to BD (if he's in the mood!). Hope you are doing well!

Cityangel - hope AF stays away, you sound on good form, good for you Allergic to chocolate poor you! Love liquorice allsorts though! My bathroom looks like Boots too Thanks for the clover for DH, very sweet of you. Re your temps , do you want me to have a look? do you have them on a chart or do you just want to post the temps?
I take it you are not including the temps from your last AF in drawing the coverline?

Hello KitKat - it is really cold isn't it? brrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hope AF stays away, really do and that the spotting is the good kind.

Conkertree - I got lots of spots a few months after I stopped the pill too now been off for 6 cycles and my skin has improved. Hope they clear up soon. Fingers crossed for you testing.

Firststar - nice lady that you are!

KitKat30 · 21/11/2006 10:41

You never know city - you might get lucky! Fingers crossed for you... if AF does show up at least you'll get a chance to use the CBFM?!

Chooster · 21/11/2006 10:42

Oooh Vegas-wedding - Cool!!! Was there any hint of them about to do it?

I'm sure someone will get another November BPF - there's still time. Presume Conker is next to test? Sorry to all those who have got their AF, at least there are some lovely ladies to give you a warm welcome on the December thread.

Hope its OK to keep popping back - I'll miss my November ladies unless I come to say hello

MrsMcJnr · 21/11/2006 10:42

Just crossed with you Cityangel - sorry the temps have dropped but it's not over yet.

Chooster · 21/11/2006 10:46

Ahhh, crossed posts MrsMc...

Good news that you've got some BD in and great that you can do some more!!! It sounds like its all been timed perfectly as well as you've just OV'd... at this rate you may not even have to miss a cycle of trying?

KitKat30 · 21/11/2006 10:47

oooh lots of crossed posts there!

Hey MrsM - nah think it's AF spotting for sure. Starting to feel OK about it - although worked out that I'll be in the 2ww ALL through xmas. What a pain - can I survive an xmas without booze??? Tell your DH we're all sending him lots of get well soon vibes - we want him back in the saddle for you ASAP!!

MrsMcJnr · 21/11/2006 11:33
