Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

WouldRatherHaveWine · 28/05/2015 19:34

Pahahaha for a start my broken body won't allow for scissoring, secondly I'm too in need of the jizz!

You lot have really cheered me up! Grin

bellybuttonfluffy · 28/05/2015 19:41

Yyyayy Pretzel! Congrats!

NFMV- nothing to report. I am in the two week wait, and preparing for disappointment. I just don't feel upduffed, despite shaggin like rabbits on honeymoon this month.

Thanks for sharing the link for the SANDS collection for Tinychat.

pretzelpieces · 28/05/2015 20:55

DP was rather shocked. Happy, but shocked... I convinced him we needed to start TTC because it might take ages heheh. He keeps saying 'one month!' but assures me he's very pleased Grin

Fivemonkeysjumpingonthebed · 28/05/2015 21:02

Congratulations prezel!

gaggiagirl · 28/05/2015 21:19

Congratulations pretzel!!!!

honeysucklejasmine · 28/05/2015 21:38

Hi Tink! Love you my darling! Please hang about, even if your cave is dustier than the tomb of the lost Pharaoh. Wink

Wine you made me lol so hard. Can't believe you don't want to scissor me! I'm sure we can get some accessories from my collection to make it fun!

Ain626 · 28/05/2015 22:12

YAY PRETZEL !!! Grin I have lost you as my cycle buddy, but for very good reason! Woop Woop!!!

I love a good BFP!!!

Wine Are we cycle buddies?

According to Glow AF is due to visit today. I am not hopeful as that would be a 28 cycle which is unlikely. Plus, it's past 10pm. It's a bit late for visitors. Though I did try to convince myself I could see pink on the tissue earlier

Ain626 · 28/05/2015 22:21

I managed to miss out the whole of page 4, meaning I missed Tink! waves

honey if Wine is turning you down I'll come to visit. DH is not up for shagging as he is "too stiff". Ha! I said that was a good thing. Apparently feeling seized up after playing football last night is the wrong kind of stiff...

Niffertiti · 28/05/2015 22:32

Woohoo pretzel, well done. That ic was very clearly a BFP, no need even to reverse the colours and squint! Come over and say hi on the grads when you feel ready!

Lovely Fred title lil!

I saw microniff on an early scan today! 7+3 with a heartbeat Smile.

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 28/05/2015 22:32

Hello everyone! Sorry for my prolonged absence. Been busy with sprogs on half term and work and just generally needed a step back after convincing myself I had 3 consecutive CPs and getting the melancholy.

Congrats pretz youve done it.

I am so so sorry to hear Chats bad news. Absolutely devastating.

Lil and honey you've been on my mind. Hope you're both well.

justtheonethen · 28/05/2015 22:37

niff Grin great news

sky so glad you're back

LaLaLaaaa · 28/05/2015 23:03

Pretzel - you're upduffed! Congratulations!!

Hi everyone, hi sky!

Hugs to wine Wine

honeysucklejasmine · 28/05/2015 23:27

Sky! Lovely to hear from you! Lil and I are sitting on rocking chairs in the corner, knitting away as usual! Ain will be joining us too of course, but she's cross stitching.

lildottie · 28/05/2015 23:33

hi sky! was wondering where you'd gotten to! sympathies on the work angle! I'm stoopid busy atm. not picked up my knitting in over a month honey Sad although ain has inspired me to do the cross stitch I've been meaning to do for about 4 years!! also have a Winnie the pooh birth sampler I've been. saving that I'm hoping to have a reason to start before the year is out!

pretzelpieces · 29/05/2015 00:09

Aw thanks ain gx for AF soon or a bfp obviously, lolled at 'stiff' comments!

Thanks niff, I'll start lurking imminently, don't want to jinx it. How lovely about the scan, yay!

wine and honey congrats on finding solace in each other's arms Wink

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 29/05/2015 00:27

I feel so loved. Thanks viroids. I missed your antics. Work is good but am a little shattered, can't complain as saving up for New York holiday end of June.

WouldRatherHaveWine · 29/05/2015 00:32

honey your "collection" sounds too interesting to miss, I shall fit you into my busy schedule!

ain (autocorrected to sin - a sign me thinks?!) I'm about CD5 now. I think. Not opened my 4 different apps today for a change!

My thermometer came today! Did a test run and it takes aaaages to read. I will so need to go pee before its over

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 29/05/2015 00:38

tiptoes in and whispers cd24 of 26 over here!
backs out of room slowly

Illiria · 29/05/2015 05:02

Many thanks all for the welcome. Love the thread title Lil. Sorry for the me post.

I am in the US but from the UK originally, we moved a year ago. The ttc sites for Americans are a bit off-putting, either overly twee or moaning about the insurance coverage they have. Yes we have to pay but some of it is covered and the below made me realise how good I have it here.

I only contacted my doctor about trying for more than 12 months in April and I have already been referred to and seen my reproductive endocrinologist. We have had a few tests done day 21 bloods and a general all over blood work-up for me and DH had the SA done, next cycle I am having the hsg, plus our pre IUI forms and tests.

RE happy with all tests apart from my TSH levels, over 2.5 but below the threshold for hypothyroidism. He has put me on meds to get it down to 2.5 which he described as a normal range when trying to conceive.

Though the us showed I ovulated on both sides this month, this led to a conversation about twins being on both sides of my family.

5hell · 29/05/2015 05:53

jellypi3 · 29/05/2015 06:54

Morning shaggers :)

I peed on my last stick tonight ignoring the 30 it's in the drawer and got my 3+ weeks on the digi so gonna try and stop worrying until my scan now as if surprised I got 3+ tho was expecting 2-3 but hey ho, I'm happy.

What are you fine folk doing today?

honeysucklejasmine · 29/05/2015 07:12

Hi Jelly. Yay for lots of hcg! Grin

I am very stiff today so am going to take it easy. Need to restack our new cupboard shelves (Thanks Dad!) and might do a bit of painting so we can finally put up our expensive blind in the kitchen. Very exciting I'm sure.

jellypi3 · 29/05/2015 07:20

Oo I love redecorating!
