TWW officially begins!!!!!

AF due 13th May and have no idea of how I'm going to wait that long!

This is our first cycle TTC baby #1 and since we have decided to try I have been very anxious. I just want this to happen, my close family have all had fertility issues and I've convinced myself I will too.

Just thought I'd start thus for support for all wanting some words if encouragement.

Soda. Never been on the pill ever. We used condoms. This is month two ttc. We didnt realise until this month that you needed to plan dtd onto certain days. Mn education. Af due next tues, wed.... Very regular but can sometimes be a day late. The tiny pink blood was 19 may.

Keeping crossed for everyone feb baby wise.

bourbon I can't imagine DTD with in laws in the house... I've got a feeling that this could be the month as well. Have been feeling hungry all day today - am telling myself it's my body trying to store up all the nutrients for my lucky egg which is about to be fertilised nothing to do with the fact I couldn't eat anything at all yesterday due to stomach cramps

soda I'm using the clearblue fertility monitor which OPK measures both oestrogen and LH. So it gives me a heads up for a few days before ov.
Isn't it funny that we now see DTD regularly during fertile period as our big achievement?

londonrach like soda has said, it could well be implantation bleed. But then like many "symptoms" during tww it could also be normal... Fx for you that this is your month!

Thanks gakay - those sound like quite a good option. As it's still pretty early on in my trying I'm just learning my cycle etc so a heads up could be good! We've just been dtd every day and then when it got really important in the last couple of days we were fed up and knackered! And ha ha, yeah I had never considered the 'achievement' thing!

So I'm officially in the TWW now. AF due (according to ovia but don't really know for sure) on 5 June.

What does tww mean please. Good luck soda. Holding your hand if you hold mine. Had one more spot yesterday ( we talking very minor) but nothing since. Ended up crying and dh holding me as felt it was early af, unheard of for me. Had cramps and went to bed expecting af. Nothing. Friend has just found shes pregnant and told me her breasts hurt. Mine are doing nothing. Grrr..

According to ovia, my AF is not due till 10/6 but FF thinks it's 11/6. We didn't manage to DTD yesterday despite my high because OH is very stressed with work. Hopefully we'll get to DTD lots over the long wkn.

londonrach TWW is two week wait, the 2 weeks between ovulation and when you're supposed to test/AF due. I've been crying almost every time AF arrived. If you are around 7-10 post-ov, brief spotting and cramps could be really good signs.

Thanks gakay. Its such a long wait till wed next week. Got severe to mild pain, cramp, in my left hip area but nothing else. My frend said her breasts were painful. So think its not this month. Its only month 2 ttc after 10 years of waiting. Good luck to you too gakay. Fx x

Hi everyone. Not been online for a few days so need to read back. Think AF has arrived today, seems light just now but i'm sure she'll be in full force tomorrow!

bourbon my pill bleed to first period cycle was 38 days and if this is AF my cycle was 43 days. But i thought a normal cycle for me would be 36-45 days so sounds about right. Was just getting myself worked up for no reason i think!

Hi all. Been distant from this thread because of the arrival of my AF earlier in the week. Was too downcast. Just coming off my menses and ready to start again. Onwards and upwards.

Dont worry sarah and frank next month. Am hating my wait at the moment.

Meant next month? Sarah and frank having been in tears a day ago its horrible this waiting game. I know one thing i have a good bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for af next week. If she appears a glass or two will be needed. Getting used to no wine at the moment. Hugs x

Sarah keepings fx for you too. If not had before maybe its your month too. xxxxx. no breast pain at all so suspect its a cruel joke the slight pink mucas and blood red mucas last tue and thurs by my body, its now brown mucas but minor.

london not everyone gets the same symptoms though so you're in with a good chance. My AF still hasnt come to much almost 12 hours after i first noticed it. I've been using tampons though but now i'm worried with the slight chance its maybe not a period if thats allowed?

sarah same here. for the last 3 cycles I've been spotting for several days b4 af made proper appearance.

I'm on the 4th day of high on OPK but still no peak yet. Want to ov asap and enter another tww!

Exactly gakay i'm trying to think positive and going to try and lose some weight before i get a BFP. Is when the spotting starts the first day of a new cycle?

I'm still waiting....I think (although not quite sure) I'm about a week late but still constant BFNs. Last night I was sure I would wake to either BFP or AF as I was exhausted and my boobs were really sore....but still nothing! This waiting game is a roller coaster!

Sarah if AF does arrive i aim to lose weight too-I would feel much better if I lost half a stone

sarah I had the same question b4 and have been reading lots of different websites. Think new cycle starts when AF in full flow.

I'm sorry blanket. That sounds like a torture. I hope you get your BFP soon. If AF does come then hope next month is the lucky month for you

My clearblue fertility monitor did not pick up a peak even though I could see 2 lines on the stick over the weekend. I'm guessing I might have peaked sometime between sat and sun morning. Am now waiting for my temp to rise to confirm ov. I do really hope this month is the month.

Think af will come tomorrow. This wait is awful.... What bfn and bfp mean please... Trying to look at positive here if af comes i can drink a glass of wine cant i before i give up again.

london yes waiting is terrible! BFN = big fat negative, BFP = big fat positive (when taking a pregnancy test)

I guess I'm 5 days post ov - I had my positive on OPK on Tuesday evening so figured I ovulated on Wednesday. AF due a week on Friday so all about the wait for me. My nipples are sore today but they were sore last month after ovulation and I convinced myself I was pregnant and wasn't so trying not to get excited or overly symptom spot this time but much easier said than done!

Thanks soda fx for you! Symptom spotting drives me crazy haha my nipples hurt last month and wasnt sure why so maybe it was to tell me i'd ovulated (also means i ovulated whilst DP was away so no wonder i'm not pregnant!)

I'm feeling sorry for myself today, DP left for work this morning for 3-4 weeks so getting some cuddles from DDog.
