Thanks for your lovely posts Genni, Sparkly, MaMaPo and Mum. DH is going to buy me flowers and is treating me to dinner tonight at one of my favourite restaurants . Much as I hate AF arriving, it's also such a relief to be out of the 2ww.

I did have a dip in temp today but it's still way above the cl and I might as well see if it goes back up tomorrow before worrying

Huge congrats to all who have a pfb - is this bus unusually lucky? Hope so! Sorry to all who have been rudely interrupted by AF.

I had to jump off the first Jan bus thread due to dh having a wobble about the whole ttc thing. I wasn't happy knowing that he wasn't 100% about it. My last post on there was a bit of a wallowing-in-self-pity kind of affair.

Anyway, we've decided to give it a go Quick stats:

MarysPrayer 37, ttc #2, 1st cycle. BFP due on 28th jan.

I ordered some cheapie opks and started testing on day 9 of my (mostly regular) 28 day cycle, got a positive on cd12, but didn't get to dtd that day (or any other days running up to it). Did dtd the following day though (cd13) So, assuming that a positive opk comes BEFORE ovulation then I would have been fertile still right? Or am I clutching at straws here?

Currently on cd 18, approx 5dpo, right in the middle of the seemingly endless tww.

I have never done so much pointless googling!

If you'll have me back I'd love to join in again? I've been lurking since thread 2 and have picked up some great tips about opks etc, so thank you for that.

AF due today but not here - usually wake up to it. Another negative test and a splittling headache. Have been waking up in the night needing the loo, boobs are still so sore. I hope that if AF is coming it shows itself bloody soon!

Hi ladies am 2dpo and usually the day after I've ov'd I have sore boobs and nipples that feel like they could cut glass.

But today......NOTHING! Does that mean I Haven't ovulated this month?

Hi ladies, can I join you? I'm currently ttc no.2, think we are on cycle 4. CD25 and 13dpo. My cycle varies a bit in length (although close to 28 days) and usually have a 14 day luteal phase.

Last month I had some brown spotting during the week before AF was due for the first time and then AF came early on cd26. Not sure what that was about other than a really rubbish early Christmas present!

Have had an achy lower back and have felt extra tired this week but probably just down to sleepless nights.

Anyway, would be lovely to have some company. It's driving me crazy not having anyone to talk to

MrsCrum, you can only definitively know the answer to that if you are charting your temperatures. Sore boobs in the 2ww are due to the level of progesterone being secreted from the corpus luteum after the egg has popped out. You really can't guage ovulation on boob pain, although admittedly it seems strange that you feel completely different this month.

Cariad, I'm sorry AF arrived. You're now another cycle closer to your baby though May I ask a question of you, my fellow one-tuber? Do you have hope every month that you are ovulating from the 'correct' side..the ovary adjoining the working fallopian tube? Or do you put faith in the theory that our one functional tube can swing over and catch an egg from the opposing ovary?

So, to test or not to test - and when??! According to Fertility Friend, AF is due tomorrow, according to Ovia, it's next Weds, and my CBAFM says Monday!!

I think maybe I need to step away from the apps and monitors
