if you are 13dpo and your Luteus phase is 14 days then I would go with Fertility Friend and assume AF is due tomorrow personally which also means you should be OK to test by now Smile

Much as I am tempted, I think I am going to wait a few more days. Somehow AF arriving is slightly less brutal than a BfN. Fingers crossed but not a lot of hope...

Cariad2014 · 17/01/2015 16:13

Purdey - I always hope I've ovulated from my good side. Although it's true that your good side can catch an egg released from the other side, the odds are against that happening.

I'll be having an early scan with my next BFP (due to the increased risk of another ectopic) so should definitively find out which side I ovulated from. I would LOVE it if it was my bad side.

Terrys - if you're still lurking, do come and tell us after your scan which side you ov'd from before your BFP.

I have toyed with using a hot water bottle in an attempt to give my 'good side' a boost each month but haven't actually done so yet (whether this works or not, who knows). My acupuncturist told me that they couldn't specify the side from which I ov'd.

I don't get any ov pain so am typically in the dark as to which side has ov'd - although I figure this might me a positive. Purdey - if you have any tips for promoting ov from your good side, do let me know!

MissMrsMummy · 17/01/2015 16:34

That is fascinating cariad I'm always curious about what's going on inside!

We have started dtd but sticking to eod now... Kind of tempting to do it more but docs have advised eod so we'd better follow their advice! I should ov tomorrow then it'll be 2ww for me!

Glad to see a few others who have BFP due at the end of the month - don't want to be sitting here with tumbleweed blowing around!

pikz hope your line gets darker!

60sname · 17/01/2015 16:46

Congrats to all those with BFPs!

Very surprised ....but got my BFP this morning at 10 or 12 DPO - had been thinking that I was imagining all sorts of symptoms but started to think I wasn't when my coffee tasted really odd yesterday.

Sorry pic is blurry - looks a bit grey onscreen but is definitely pink in real life

59sound, if your luteal phase is 14 days - and AF arrives on the 15th day - that means your period I'd due Monday. You would get a reliable result had you tested this morning.

Cariad I have a dreadful feeling I largely ov from the 'wrong' side. Whenever I have been scanned as part of my Clomid cycle, my 'wrong' ovary is seeing lots of action and there is none on the other side. However, after my lap & dye the gynae insisted he saw no reason for both ovaries not to work. I got pregnant in 2012 naturally after TTC for only 2 months. When I miscarried and had the erpc, I never got pregnant again :/ Age is a massive factor for me though.

PurdeyBirdie · 17/01/2015 16:52

P.s...I begged my gynae specifically for Clomid to try to increase the chances of multiple eggs being released.

Luckynumber3 · 17/01/2015 16:55

Wow!!!! I have been away since Monday, looked on today to see thread 2 full and a new one well on its way. You have all been very busy Wink

I have actually managed to read back on it all (although it's took me nearly all day) because I didn't want to miss any bfp's and there has been a lot. So happy for u all. Wishin u lots of luck with the next 9 months. Sorry to those who didn't get their bfp's.

Currently on cd21. I have no idea when I ov this month but have been having cycles between cd26 and cd35. I'm hoping to poas on Friday which will be cd28. Being away for half of the 2ww has been amazing haven't had a chance to think about it or symptom spot. I'm sure I will make up for it this week though. Blush

PurdeyBirdie · 17/01/2015 17:07

Sorry I missed your post, Mary. Yes, you had a good chance of conceiving on the day of ovulation (CD13). The egg is capable of being fertilised around twelve hours after it has been released but has entirely disintegrated by 24 hrs. So, timing is everything and you may well have hit the jackpot Smile

Lucky, have you had your irregular cycles looked into? Do you know you ovulate?

Who was it who was covered in zits? Mine are really itching. Can anyone remember which hormone is responsible for 2ww zits?

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 17:24

Congrats 60sname a fellow superdrug special from the looks of it

spamanderson · 17/01/2015 17:28

pikz from 6dpo I had a slight pink when wiping and (tmi coming up) what looked like small snotty bogey like brown bits when wiping. There's a definite shadowy line on them. I had a faint shadow like on your cheapy at 6dpo. I KNEW I was pregnant but it took until 10dpo for the line to be visible enough to be undoubtably there :)
Good luck :)

pulpi · 17/01/2015 17:29

Checking in for the day. AF is due today but there's been no sign. Well, sore lower back like she's planning a miserable week. Still feel these bubbling burps all day. As my cycle fluctuates between 25-29 days, I'm trying to wait until Wednesday before I get excited.

Easier said than done.

MissMrsMummy · 17/01/2015 17:41

60sname! Congratulations! Time to celebrate x

GlitteryLipgloss · 17/01/2015 17:43

Still no AF. Lol

I really don't mind that I may or may not be pregnant. That's all fine. I can accept that.

But where the actual sodding hell is AF? Why now, now we are TTC, she pisses off for a few days more?! Lol

Having cramps every few hours. Enough to make me notice them but not crippling like they usually are.

Ah well! Lol

Congratulations to all on your BFP's Smile having a lucky thread ????

victoria401 · 17/01/2015 18:28

purdey it was me with the zits! I can't be preg coz hubby has duff sperm :-( so can't be a symptom I'm afraid. I'm just hanging around waiting for af (due tomorrow) not knowing where to put myself. I was meant to be calling the clinic tomorrow to go get my first scan and pick up my drugs. Now its just another af... If only I wasn't doing a dry Jan, could really do with a wine!
Congrats 60's!

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 18:31

GET OFF DRY JAN! Good god this is not the time for depriving yourself!

MelonMelon · 17/01/2015 18:36

Victoria I'm also doing dry Jan! Got loads of booze left from christmas and keep thinking if I get my bfp my next drink will be October! I'd give the booze up forever in exchange mind you

Purdy a symptom I had last time was zits a over my chest and shoulders. Hideous! I always get a mid cycle break out and am currently sporting mount everest on my chin

victoria401 · 17/01/2015 19:07

I usually get the odd chin spot but this month I've got them on chin, jawline, cheeks and both sides of face near my 'side burns'! Last time I had spots like this was when I had my implant first put in before the hormones settled down!

I would get off the dry Jan but I promised dh and would like to prove it to myself too. Said to dh can I have a drink and he said do whatever you like darling.

Nomio230 · 17/01/2015 19:07

Wow, seems like every time I log on, there are more bfp's! This is definitely a lucky bus. Congratulations to all you future mummies!

lucky, I am due my bfp on Friday too. Are you up for a pee party?

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 19:12

Ah I see. I did dry September last year, it was nice to say I'd done it and my mood was quite good. I decided against dry January just incase of a dry 2015...and here we are. Gin makers across the land are worried about their profits, DH is going to have to start drinking it!

Hope you're ok.

Symptoms wise - a whole 12 hours since my BFP: chronic back ache for the last week, rash on my arms, aching boobs, constipation, I'm cold and Mount Everest has pitched up on my face. The back has been the worst. I'm bloated too.

Just marking place on new thread. Wow! So many bfps, congratulations all, this is certainly a lucky thread.

7dpo here, no real symptoms but this cycle seems a little different, I was 10 days late to ovulate but temps have been steady throughout for once both pre and post ov, boobs have started aching only today rather than 1dpo like normal, hope this is a good sign! If not, im getting on the soy next cycle.

Sorry to those who have had a visit from the witch :( onwards and upwards though

spinningirl10 · 17/01/2015 20:05

Bean, I'm 7/8 dpo as well, I think there's a few of us at the same stageGrin

Beansprout30 · 17/01/2015 20:08

Let's hope for mass numbers of bfps next week! :D
