Thanks ladies! Super excited but mega nervous for ultrasound now!!! Sent dh the picture and even he could see it no doubt!!

Blimeygirl · 20/01/2015 08:48

There ya go! What do you reckon?!

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 08:53

Haribo, progesterone is released every single time we release an egg. It is release by the corpus luteum, which is the 'pocket' within the follicle that releases the egg. This happens immediately at ovulation so yes, before fertilisation can even take place. Progsterone is responsible for many of the 'pregnancy symptoms' we spot in the 2ww, sore boobs being the worst. Frequent urination, though, is nowt to do with this hormone and nor is sickness (though very high progesterone can make you feel pukey).

It was a BFN on the FRER for me at 5am, but seeing as I had just put my recalcitrant chimp of a tot back into her cot after having me up half the night I can't say I'm devastated Hmm

Mumwannabe82 · 20/01/2015 08:58

How's your temp this morning perdey??

Blimey, sorry I missed you, Congratulations, fab news!

59sound · 20/01/2015 09:19

Congrats blimey! What a good morning for bfps!

dojo123 · 20/01/2015 09:20

Congrats Blimey fab news

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 09:22

Aargh! I didn't see the pregnancy news when posted this morning and then I had to deal with the nipper. I am thrilled for you, Mum, Lingua & Blimey! I honestly can't believe how lucky you first-time TTCers are ShockEnvyThanks

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 09:24

Mum, my temp went up a bit this morning but the FRER was whiter than my reputation Hmm so I know I'm out. However, armed with my trusty syringes this month I will be awash with spunk spermz on the February bus. I will be literally squelching as I traipse up to the top deck to spit on the preggos.

babsbunny · 20/01/2015 09:29

Purdey. You are priceless. I think I'm going to be joining you on that bus. I have a low grade foreboding feeling brewing that I ain't following in the family footsteps (mum and sister) of conceiving "both times first time".

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 09:30

...a FRER wouldn't be able to detect HcG if my fertilised egg only implanted yesterday at 10dpo, right...? Hmm

Blimeygirl · 20/01/2015 09:33

So you can see it too?! Just checking a) the photo uploaded and b) you can see the line?! X

babsbunny · 20/01/2015 09:34

I went on a readathon about stuff last night. Most advice seems to be that a lot of bfps won't show up til after af missed. I hanging all my dwindling hope on this as I'm too nervous to poas just yet.

Mumwannabe82 · 20/01/2015 09:35

It might not because sometimes ones body might take longer to produce the hcg, I think that's why the earliest you can test is 9dpo because most women implant around 7dpo xx

PurdeyBirdie · 20/01/2015 09:36

Babs, if you don't mind the smell of fishy spunk spermz you can sit alongside me and goz on the preggos

Blimeygirl · 20/01/2015 09:37

Oh bugger I guess I didn't do the picture! Here it hopefully is!

Jan bus take 3!!!!!
Mumwannabe82 · 20/01/2015 09:37

I shall get my umbrella out and be on top alert for spitting!!

It's taken 8 months since coming off the pill but apparently that's the average for my age xxx

I decided to take a hot water bottle on the train to work today. Omg, I'm a genius. Can actually feel my legs! This is becoming a regular thing. Everyone is staring, I like to think it's because they are envious....

babsbunny · 20/01/2015 09:41

Plus hopefully, now my womb won't freeze because I have warm feet!

loopylou1984 · 20/01/2015 09:56

Babs - lol at the womb not freezing over! But best idea ever, I'm always freezing on trains! X

babsbunny · 20/01/2015 10:01

Mum. We are all just a bit green (with envy not morning sickness unfortunately). It's amazing news for you.I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy Flowers

pulpi · 20/01/2015 10:08

Congrats Mum, Lingua & Blimey!

emma85x · 20/01/2015 10:23

Congrats to your BFPers!!!! Wohoooo!!!! What a fab day!! mum and ling how many DPO are you both? Working out when to test myself! Had a slight temp drop this morning but was bloody freezing as heating didn't come on so not worrying too much about it! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

victoria401 · 20/01/2015 10:35

Woo great morning on the bfp front!

Congrats ling, mum and glad you finally got an answer Blimey! Hope your scan shows a mini bean in good form. How many weeks will you be?

After nearly passing out from af pain in work yesterday and going home and having a massive cry, I'm moving forward again. Called the clinic and dh has another sa in 2 months time and if its improved we can do iui. Made myself feel a bit better by posting my situation on the forums chat. A lady has got 3 year old twins from iui with low morphology sperm. So there is hope! And another lady had her first by ivf coz her hubby's sperm has even lower morph than 'ours' and then got preg naturally with her 2nd! We will keep trying!
