babs: well, as it's our first cycle, I really don't want to test without DH there. Also, taking my longest cycle into account, AF could still turn up. But I was sorely tempted this afternoon. A week is an awfully long time to wait.

xBlueberry88x · 18/01/2015 18:47

ladies apprently there is a website you can input temps taken late and itll adjust for you...Spinning my love do you know what it is!

Purdey Good luck on the clomid it worked for me on the 2nd month

Re the green snot cm I was ttc for 20 months and had it a few times. ..not on the montj I conceived that month I had lotion/pva glue like cm mainly internally from ov it was the first time I ever had it

Boobear1983 · 18/01/2015 18:59

Purdey your posts crack me up. I'm thinking I may have to give in and but some opk sticks. At first we were trying to dtd around the right time, but me and the oh both work shifts and can go weeks with barely seeing each other. If i knew i was ov we would have to find the time!

loopylou1984 · 18/01/2015 19:12

Purdey - as you seem to be a font of knowledge (was beginning to wonder if you're a doctor?) can I ask you (and anyone else) a question?

I know people say that after coming off the pill it can take some time for you to be fertile again... Well regular cycles came back pretty quickly for be and I was getting positive opks immediately (although only started temping 3 months ago), but are there other things that may not have returned to normal so quickly that would have stopped us from conceiving?

clutching at straws for a reason

babsbunny · 18/01/2015 19:28

Is anyone else who is in the first cycle ttc struggling to come to terms with 15 years of paranoia over contraception versus the reality of realising how tricky it might be to get preggo?

I feel robbed of all that time stressingConfused

roughtyping · 18/01/2015 19:32

Well that's AF here so I'm out. Really sad. Fingers crossed for next cycle

Hi, Im new to the site and just joining the Jan bus as first time TTC. Got a positive result on the ovulation test. DTD on the days before and after this as also been monitoring my EWCM. Its now 5 days since I had the positive ovulation result and have been having twinges in my overies on and off all day today. Is it too early for implantation pains? Im feeling hopeful and excited. My partner says we mustnt count our chickens. I cant help it though!

Mumwannabe82 · 18/01/2015 19:55

MelonMelon · 18/01/2015 21:08

Babs definitely! Can't believe how panicked I'd get in my uni days if I took my pill half a day late or threw it up because I had a hangover! I never want to go on hormonal birth control again.
